My recent purchase of a new RAV4 was an amazing experience with Nico Acosta, salesman extraordinaire. From initial greeting of "Good morning, how may I help you" to the final phase of purchase, Nico helped me navigate. He answered every question with ease, knew the intricacies of the car I was interested in purchasing and made the process very enjoyable. He epitomizes customer service exceptionally! Loyalty to Toyota has been my mantra for several years, it's important to me to have a quality product and service. read more

I give four stars for my previous experience with the parts department but three stars for my first experience, yesterday, with the service department. My wife and I both have Toyotas; me, a 2018 RAV4 and her, a recently purchased 2023 4Runner. Edmark is the closest Toyota dealership to our home in Star. We brought my wife's vehicle in for an oil change. According to our purchase agreement, we have five free oil changes. Using the VIN, the dealership can verify this. I had verified this with someone over the phone, but upon arrival, I had to mention it to the service agent. Apparently, there are no notes kept in their customer data files. We left the car and returned home. We did not say whether we planned to wait for it to be finished. While another gentleman handled us when we arrived, our actual service agent was Mark. After we dropped the vehicle off, I received a text from Mark, creating a method for me to stay in contact with him during the time the 4Runner was being serviced. I was told by the other gentleman that checked us in that we would receive a call or text, letting us know when the car would be done. I never received any communication. Having dropped the car at 8:15 am, I contacted Mark about 12:30 to inquire whether the vehicle was ready. He apologized and texted that he was told that we would return shortly to pick up the car, which I guess means we don't receive communicaiton about the status? We picked up the vehicle in the afternoon. Mark was nice enough. I asked what our timeframe was for our free oil changes and it took him a while to look it up. He did provide that information to me. He called for a porter to bring our car around. He then pointed us across the service area to where our car would be. We saw a blue 4Runner that looked like ours parked and ready to leave the bay. Unfortunately, that was not our vehicle, which was already pointed at an angle within the bay. So, I'm pretty sure Mark had the young man bring the wrong car around for us. Overall, my first experience did not wow me, or leave me feeling confident in the Edmark Toyota service department. Since I'm going to be in the market for a certified pre-owned Highlander or RAV4 next year, I'm wondering if Edmark is where I should do my shopping. I haven't had any experience with the sales department yet. read more

**Extremely Disappointed With Our Service Experience** My husband and I have owned Toyota vehicles since 1990, and we have remained loyal to Toyota because of its reputation for quality and reliability. When we purchased our 2025 Toyota truck from Edmark Toyota in February, we also purchased the $2,000 service package after being assured by our salesperson, Jeremiah Clemons, that we would receive quality service. Unfortunately, our first service experience has been extremely disappointing. When I brought the truck in for its first scheduled service, I specifically and clearly instructed Keegan, who was coordinating the service, **not to rotate the tires**. The tires had been balanced the day before, so there was no reason for them to be rotated. I expected the scheduled inspection and oil change to be completed--nothing more. When I picked up the truck, Keegan told me that the tire weights had apparently fallen off and that they had decided to rotate the tires anyway. When I reminded him that I had specifically instructed them not to rotate the tires, his response was essentially, *"We decided to do it anyway."* What was even more frustrating was the lack of accountability. Instead of simply acknowledging that my explicit instruction had not been followed, I was given explanations about who had previously installed the tires, what weights had been used, and the fact that my instruction had not been written down. Regardless of how the situation occurred, the fact remains that I gave a clear instruction and the dealership chose not to follow it. Approximately one mile after leaving the dealership, I noticed a consistent rubbing noise coming from the rear passenger-side area. I immediately returned to Edmark Toyota and explained the problem. I asked that the tires be returned to their original positions since I had never authorized the rotation in the first place. Now I have to make another trip to the tire store so the tires can be inspected and potentially rebalanced--an inconvenience that should never have been necessary had my original instruction been followed. Keegan has apologized multiple times, but an apology does not resolve the underlying issue. Customers should be able to trust that specific service instructions will be documented, communicated, and followed. If something goes wrong, they should also be able to expect accountability rather than having responsibility passed to someone else. I also can't help but wonder whether my instructions would have been taken more seriously if my husband had been the person bringing the vehicle in. As the owner of the vehicle, I should not have to question whether my instructions will be respected simply because I am a woman. After more than three decades of owning Toyotas, this experience has significantly damaged my confidence in Edmark Toyota. We purchased the service package because we were told we could expect quality service. If a dealership cannot follow a simple, explicit instruction during a routine service visit, it raises legitimate concerns about trusting them with more significant mechanical work in the future. I hope management takes this situation seriously and addresses how customer instructions are documented and communicated so this does not happen to other customers. Customers deserve competent service, clear communication, respect, and accountability. **This experience fell well short of the level of service we were led to expect when we purchased both our Toyota and the service package.** read more

Took my wife's car in for a routine service, but honestly, it felt more like dropping in on your favorite cousin's house--if your cousin also happens to be a highly-skilled automotive technician with a spotless waiting room. My wife had our 7-year-old in tow, which usually adds a layer of chaos to any errand longer than 8 minutes. But not here. The Edmark team treated them like royalty--smiles, jokes, updates, snacks... I half-expected them to leave with an oil change and an adoption certificate. Service was done faster than quoted (which only happens at Edmark), the team was incredibly kind and professional, and they somehow made routine maintenance feel like a spa day--except with fewer cucumbers and more 10W-30. Highly recommend. Whether you're there for an oil change, tire rotation, or just in need of a little human kindness, Edmark Toyota delivers. 11/10. Would let them babysit my car (and probably my kid) again. read more

We purchased a 2026 Toyota Camry SE in late June. We had a test drive in a Red Nightshade with Jeremiah the day before but the car we purchased was still wrapped in plastic. We purchased it late Monday night. Two days later I noticed that on both sides of the car, the weather stipping around the false window (plastic) was melted. I drove to the dealership and showed them expecting they'd fix it. Well, after numerous texts and a couple of phone messages, they did nothing. They said I must have had the car detailed and a pressure washer caused the damage. Sorry, it's impossible for a pressure washer to melt that rubber weather stripping. I never had anyone detail it. It was brand new and only 2 days old. We had sunshine both days, no rain. After filing complaints over the phone with Toyota they said they'd have the sales manager call me. He never did. I asked the sales manager to forward my pictures of the damage to the GSM but they did NOTHING. My wife even had a picture of the car that shows the damage the night we brought it home with a date stamp but we didn't notice it that night. I will never do business with Edmark Toyota again. The rubber weather stripping would have cost them less than $50. It's clear to me that they used a heat gun to remove the glue that held the plastic sheeting over the window since someone applied it to the weather stripping instead of directly onto the plastic window or the rear glass windows. Good customer service would have kept a customer for life. read more

Always friendly and prompt service. Will not go anywhere else for oil changes or general servicing.

We bought a new 2022 RAV4 from Edmark with the extended service plan. I've had nothing but bad experiences every time I brought the vehicle in. You are NOT treated like a customer, instead you feel as if they're doing YOU a favor by selling/servicing your car. Today, I brought my vehicle in for an alignment and during the wait I was going to test drive the new RAV4. My salesperson ((Ryan) belittled my comments when I said I was hesitant to purchase a hybrid (no other options for the 2026 RAV4). We never did test drive the vehicle. After telling me that "I don't know how the system (financing)works" I handed him the keys and got out of the vehicle. His demeanor became somewhat violent. I said I was going to talk to one of his managers, and he got into my face yelling and threatening me. I talked to his manager, but we all know it'll go nowhere. Do yourselves a favor and stay away! Because my initial experience of my 2022 purchase was so bad, I bought a 2025 Corolla at Peterson Toyota and the salesman (Bill) was the absolute best! read more

As an out of stater, it was a very smooth and easy process buying a car from Edmark but when I received my car I noticed they had put a decal of their dealership name on it without my authorization. Seems disrespectful to do that on someone else's property without their permission. Now I have to spend extra time I don't have to remove it and hope it doesn't damage my paint in the process. Waiting to hear back from my salesperson Sean if they'll reimburse me for a decal eraser wheel. 3 stars for the extra unnecessary inconvenience and hassle. The vanity plate holder should be enough, why the decal too?? read more

Sael was great! Very informative, helpful & even gave me a loaner for the day, so I would not miss school/daycare pick up with my sons while the service department did over a thousand dollars in repairs on my vehicle. I am very impressed with this dealership. I will be back 4 sure. They even gave my kids hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies while we were waiting at the very end of the day. I was looking for a SUV. Kia was my first choice. We visited the Kia dealership and no one appeared interested in selling us a car except for one young man that was new to the job. Actually they appeared more interested in eating lunch. We went home. My husband searched used RAV4s and found a couple at Edmark. He called and spoke with Nico. Nico had the car ready for us. We drove it and both liked it. We were undecided about whether to buy a used or new car And talked to Nico about it. Nico showed us a new RAV4 and the decision was made. If you're looking for a Toyota, consider working with Nico. He is professional and personable. Thank you Nico! read more

Great in-person dealership staff and service experiences. Just unhappy with calling my local dealer and those calls going to a call center with people who have heavy Indian accents and are really difficult to understand. This makes the entire customer experience process really bad. This is a management decision, and obviously done for cost purposes, but this is pushing me and my family to take our new Toyota vehicles to another dealership. I need companies to make my life easier, and if a company fails at customer service, I simply don't have the time or patience. Fortunatelt,, everything else is really great with this dealership! read more

Garette was very helpful and I appreciate his patience while I was negotiating the purchase! Luis was also very helpful in walking me through the paperwork! Dealt with Edmark on a new Crown Signia as the Salt Lake dealers had limited inventory and no flexibility. Started with Nicole in sales and eventually dealt with sales mgr Manny and Tony for the final details. It is a professional operation and it was easy to arrange the deal online and set up an appointment to pick up the car. All communication was consistent and there were no surprises in dealer add-ons or price changes. Car was perfectly prepped and Tony made sure that all paid stuff was included--including the discontinued leather folder for the owner's manual and all that stuff. It was worth the drive. read more

Brought my Rav 4 in to have a broken door handler reevaluated after a previous repair. When there I asked Sael to look at a frozen screw holding an old license plate now under a newer one. He said it would be about $90 plus a new screw. I said no, it's not worth it. When I picked my car up with door handle fixed and driving away, I noticed the old plate on the front passenger floor. I couldn't believe it! It made my day! I bought my car there and have been bringing it to you for all my service for 8 year's, and really appreciated the above and beyond customer care! Thank you! I sent Sael a text thanking him but please pass this on in case he didn't see it. Janet read more

Great buying experience! I think we were out of the dealership in under two hours. We used the Costco buying program and the price we got was incredible, they were also very fair on our trade in price they gave us. I work for Costco and Dave Edmark shops at my store I can't wait to tell him how proud he should be on how professional his dealership is. His son Milles obviously has risen to the occasion. Lisa in the finance department was awesome. Thank you all for a great experience. I will gladly recommend your dealership to our members and my friends with true enthusiasm. Given my Druthers, I'd go to Hometown Toyota! Took the wife's Cross in for a ToyotaCare service and to have a software update completed. First you have to schedule service two weeks in advance. The Toyota service bulletin said the software update takes 45 minutes. Perfect, they take an hour for an oil change. Brittany and the service manager told me that they take 3 hours for the update, and I should plan on leaving the car for the day. This isn't right and Toyota is at a loss for Edmark's reasoning. Sorry, I don't trust these folks to do the most basic service anymore. They also have one of the worst automated phone trees that I've ever encountered. Cannot talk to a person, get sent to voice mail or dropped repeatedly. The staff just doesn't care! read more

The team at Edmark made this transaction as painless as possible which is rarely the case with a vehicle purchase. Our salesman, Gilbert Sifuentes, was a total pro. He knew the vehicle inside and out, didn't play games and was honest if he didn't know and answer- but closed the loop with the answer after getting it. The finance portion went very well, Lisa made sure we had any questions answered while we were sitting there and while she covered all the various warranties and add-ons we all have to sit through, made it as painless as possible. Gilbert was also nice enough to introduce me to one of the service managers (Brian) who was able to answer all the questions I had about maintenance and engine break in times. All in all, it was the nicest experience we've had outside one Mercedes-Benz purchase years ago. If you are looking for a Toyota in the Treasure Valley, just go to Edmark and thank me later. Do yourself a favor and call Gilbert ahead of time to ensure he's working when you arrive. read more

Went in for a very expensive repair on my Tundra. (over $2,000) Repair was done, but no test drive after. I was pulling out of dealership parking lot and heard a very loud noticeable metallic rubbing sound coming from the front tire area where the repair was done. They had to take truck back into service to address the issue and I had to wait an additional hour for them to fix. First car purchase at Edmark. Compared to two previous new Toyota purchases at Peterson's, this experience was less than satisfying. The handling of the Costco car buying purchase was not handled correctly (per Costco's VP of the car buying program). Had to comment to Costco to get the process rectified. Never purchased a car (completed the F&I step) w/o anyone showing the car we were purchasing. All in all, the deal was fine. The service left much to be desired. read more

Took my 2015 Toyota (92,000 miles) in to have the water pump replaced, it was growling. As a general rule and it is highly recommended that the thermostat be replaced at the same time and possibly the radiator hoses. The service tech did not mention these other items (they always try to upsale, more money in their pocket). Well they completed the job without replacing any of the additional parts. If I were a 73 yr old grandma, I wouldn't know any different. But, I'm a 73 yr old mechanically inclined grandpa and Ive known since high school that the extra parts are just normal and inexpensive to replace (but expensive to replace due to labor costs) especially when the water pump is very difficult to replace and the thermostat is right there. It's only common sense to replace everything at one time. When you ask Google the question about Toyota service centers the answer is a resounding yes they should be replaced and at the very least, ask the customer. I guess common sense is very rare these days. read more
