Ok, so my last review about 2 years ago, I wasn't impressed with the food here but now I'm a believer! I came back intending to only have drinks but I decided to try the food again. I gave this a 4 star because the drinks are very spendy but worth the taste and the show if you can afford it. $27 for the Tiffany drink!!! But how they present the drinks is part of the experience. Their food actually tasted really good this time and everyone liked what they ordered. So if you don't mind splurging a bit, I recommend this place, plus the deco inside is amazing and the views are beautiful! Now I recommend this place. read more

Better than expected. The look of Dos Salsas gave me that chain restaurant vibe but, it was better than expected. We were seated quickly and in short order the salsa (red & green) was at the table. Each looked/ tasted fresh & the green had a nice hint of heat. Chips were thin and had a large amount of broken bits as apposed to whole. We also added the queso (it was good, but not great). My wife ordered the mango margarita with the Patron. She said it was delicious! For dinner we had the Carnitas plate and Beef Burrito. The pork was cooked well and had nice flavor with rice, beans and salad rounding the plate. Her burrito was good size with a nice amount of red sauce & she said it tasted good. The highlight of dinner experience was our server Excelis, She was Awesome! We inadvertently mentioned that we were out for our anniversary. At the end of dinner she brought out a fried ice cream dessert (my wife never had it) for our Anniversary. It made our evening! For us, Dos Salsas is a solid 3.5's. Give it a try! read more

Been a regular here for a while but not after tonight. To begin, the drinks arrived late, the waitress forgot my tortillas and let my food get cold, and got my friend's order wrong. So wrong in fact that she is not allowed to eat pork for religious reasons and she gave her beans with pork. Additionally while we were eating, she took away our plates we were using and didn't even apologize once for any mistake she made through the night. Overall, it is a shame to have this experience but it is also disrespectful on how the waitress managed everything and didn't even seem to care at all. The ambiance of this restaurant has amazing potential. I visited this restaurant for lunch but unfortunately I was truly underwhelmed by the food. I am a person who truly loves to discover Tex-Mex food. However, this food was lacking a lot of taste and flavor. I ordered off the lunch menu the two pork tamales, which came with refried beans and a side of rice. In addition, to a complimentary chicken tortilla soup. The chicken tortilla soup was probably the best thing I ate however, I did not enjoy the meal I ordered nor did I enjoy the chips and guacamole. I would say they have great green and red salsa. If I was to try this place again, I would love to try something totally different from what I ordered in hopes of changing my opinion. read more

Usually, the service is great. Today I went and the waitress brought the wrong water and soda requests. I wanted jalapeno infused margarita. She brought it out but put the spice salt on my wife's bloody. She brought half the food out 30 mins after we got there. Then brought her only other table food. Then ours minus the rice and beans. We had to remind her, and she brought the wrong beans out. Not once did she say sorry. It was 1PM and it was not busy. The wife and daughter had fajitas for two. A massive plate but one flour tortilla and 3 corn, were brought when we asked for both. Clueless. To top it off the phone rang for 10 mins, and no one answered when I wanted to speak to the manager. Hilda crushed our service! She always made sure we had what we needed, always very attentive! Ranch water was superb.

I just left this place (Memorial Day). It was completely dead, which is great when you're wanting a quick dinner without a wait. I go inside and sit at the bar as I was alone. I sat there about 15 minutes, and no one came with a menu or ask me for a drink order. There were 2 bartenders extremely busy making drinks, and there were numerous waiters standing around near the entrance to the kitchen, I suspect because they were not busy. Instead of helping me at the bar when I'm sitting just a few feet from where they're standing, they continue standing there doing nothing. I leave. I go to the host stand to let them know I'm not getting any service at the bar. So they take me to a seat in the dining area. Same exact thing. I sat there about 15 minutes and no server ever came. So I went back to the host stand again asking if I need to move again to get service. The hostess said my server is "right there". They pointed to a girl sitting on the bench in the waiting area doing absolutely nothing. So I left without dinner. I can't believe what I experienced. read more

This was my first time at the Georgetown location and we got there on Friday at around 6pm. I expected a long wait as Dos Salsas is usually pretty popular. To my surprise wait was actually less than 10 minutes! We were sat down in a booth inside and our server was with us in less than a few minutes with some chips and salsa. We ordered the chips and queso to start. I forgot to take a photo but it was very good. We finished the entire basket of chips and without us even asking for more the staff brought us a fresh basket and refilled our salsas. This is pretty rare to get our chips and salsa topped off without asking. I ordered the Mole Chicken Enchiladas. These were very very good. Probably the best I've had. The beans were perfectly seasoned and the rice was a nice addition to the flavor of the enchilada. I will come back for these again. Thanks for the awesome service. read more
