Chipotle Turkey Chipotle Panini+ horchata oat latte
Jaqueline C.

This place is phenomenal, a hidden gem and probably the best cafe around that area. The horchata latte was perfect, not too sweet or too bitter. I got the turkey chipotle and my bf got the breakfast panini and added ham. Both were delicious and not skimpy at all, we could've shared one tbh. The employees were kind and the atmosphere is cute! Oh and the music was great too, I was definitely jamming while eating my delicious panini. 10/10 you should try this place out!

Cute little coffee spot right near Vons where I was charging my car. Dog friendly, and very casual but with a great menu. Service was friendly and fast, and there was only one guy working. I recommend the panini with zucchini, it was light and exactly what I needed on the quick stop!

I don't know when the last time is that I had a breakfast sandwich but this was a really really lovely one! Just happened to come here for for breakfast because another place we wanted had too long a wait. Service took really long here but maybe they were just busy on a Saturday morning. Our friend who usually came here said they are really good with the service so we were surprised when all breakfast sandwiches took almost 30 minutes to come out. Sandwiches were really delicious though! Perfectly crispy crusty bread. That was the right amount of grilled and will get a large amount of the fillings! Usually one would expect a thin sandwich with largely bread, but this had the perfect balance with a large amount of filling - something I actually love! Beware that you up might end up with a little bit of a cut feeling in the mouth because that bread does get pretty crispy, haha. Also - lovely seating area outside. Breakfast Panini (Scrambled egg, turkey, pepperjack cheese, avocado, organic greens, tomatoes, red onion) Really lovely condomination. Didn't feel greasy at all. Just the perfect amount of cheese and egg and turkey and everything in there. Avocado was a really nice touch! Veggie Panini + Turkey (grilled zucchini, roasted red peppers, provolone, avocado, greens, tomatoes, red onion, chipotle aioli) + Turkey Really love how loaded this one was. I was expecting there to be greens inside so I asked for extra greens and they really piled it up! The turkey really went well with the vegetables and the Chipotle sauce and there was really nice as well to bring it all together It felt a little big at times where things were just falling apart but it was a beautiful mess! Mexican mocha was unbelievably phenomenally good! Rich and chocolaty with the perfect amount of spice in it. Husband also got the whole charter I slate and that had all the proper cinnamon goodness that you would like.

This is such a cute little hidden gem! If you're looking for a quick bite and drink this is the perfect spot. The restaurant itself is super small but there is plenty of seating outdoor and on the front patio. Service was quick and everyone was friendly! The breakfast panini and iced chai latte were both delicious!! I'll definitely be back again to try more items on the menu.

Great house brew, awesome paninis that are large portions, and 2 friendly ladies behind the counter! Indoor and outdoor seating, outlets for laptop inside while you work. Will definitely be back.

stopped by to grab some Sammie's for the beach. Unassuming spot from the street but has a cute and vibey outside area. Wait time was SO long for two paninis-about 35 minutes!? I was kind of expecting a longer wait due to reading some other reviews but dang, 35 minutes?! We opted for the Italian and turkey chipotle. Besides the wait the sandwiches were very tasty with crunchy bread, fresh ingredients, and PACKED. I was so stuffed after finishing it. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to return or most definitely not when I'm in a rush to get somewhere.

Zesty Italian

First time trying Dos Palmas while we were in the area visiting. As others have mentioned, the wait is longer than usual- took 30 minutes for our 2 paninis with only 2 people ahead of us. There was only one gentlemen making food, so not sure if that's the cause of the long wait, but they definitely need to find a better solution. We tried their zesty Italian panini and their turkey chipotle. The zesty Italian was really good, full of flavor from their meat selection along with the pepperoncinis and Italian dressing. The turkey chipotle was well balanced, the chipotle sauce tasted homemade and both were very filling!

Horchata cold brew

Horchata cold brew is a must. Super cute place with delicious treats! Has a ton of outdoor seating.

Why do people go to Cafe's? I go to enjoy fresh local food and good coffee, while not paying full sit down brunch prices No trendy millennial over-priced coffees here. You get well priced, fresh, amazing breakfast food and coffee served by friendly staff. Enjoy your food in their cozy backyard patio. Try out one of their 50+ hot sauces. Add bacon to your sandwich. This is what a cafe should be. My new favorite breakfast spot in town.

Horchata Latte
Carly P.

We got Horchata Lattes with oatmilk and then the açaí bowls. The lattes were good and the açaí bowl was okay. The actual açaí part had a little bit of freezer burn and were a little icy instead of a smooth blend. Overall, a decent coffee place and the employees were nice

Such a cozy and cute place to get flavorful coffee. The paninis are also amazing, and they have great deals ($2-6 mini panini!). Love stopping by when I have a chance, the service is always fast and the location itself is a great place to sit under the trees while you sip your drink.

Breakfast Panini and Orange Juice
Divya J.

Read great reviews and decided to get their breakfast panini (vegetarian). It was subpar and lacked flavor. Their orange juice was delicious - but a tad bit expensive ($8+) Ambience is great, staff was friendly. Service was fairly quick.

reviewing coffee, service and ambiance -- dos palmas is 10/10 i've tried a LOT of coffee shops and this one is amazing. they have fancier and unique roasts also if you're into that. they're dog friendly and so nice to your puppers, and the back seating area is the best on a lazy weekend morning. will definitely be coming back to try their sandwiches.

Food: - Flat iron steak: delicious and super tendy with a nice crust. Came with an arugula salad - Fish of the day: today was rock fish with a creamy panang/thai sauce and it was DELICIOUS - Duck: my table's favorite dish. You can make your own tiny tacos and the macha chili was seriously the best thing ever - French fries: nice horsestring fries, cant go wrong - Tuna crudo: super light and citrusy and flavorful, but only like 5-6 pieces - Chicken skewers: this honestly fell really flat. Would not recommend, i'd say it's the worst thing on the menu and surprisingly fell short. Doesnt feel like it belongs on the menu. - Brussel Sprouts: really good and unique with a peanut butter sauce - Mac and cheese: yummy but nothing special Overall was a great experience but I'd probably only come here on special occasions. Their drinks were also fantastic - the cantaloupe was super tasty. Shoutout Ola for being the best waiter!

Lots of seating for our group, we ordered mostly "breakfast" items. I shared a Sage Chicken & Waffle Tower - which was excellent. The texture and taste are all pleasurable. I had the banana pancakes, with two over well eggs, crispy bacon, with potatoes. I couldn't complete it all, I took my leftovers with me. The orange juice tastes as if it's fresh squeeze! The service was kind. The feel of this restaurant is home. I adore the restaurants that were once a house turned into a place of business. Something about it spiritually makes me feel a bit grounded into history. I love the fresh rosemary they place in the dish as well. Such a unique touch of earthy-love I'm just glad it wasn't a hour wait or longer how I was repeatedly warned. We got seats right away. Could've been due to the construction on the street near by. I'll definitely return whenever I'm in town.

Thank goodness there was room too, because wow oh wow. It has been three weeks and we keep talking about that happy hour. LOL I appreciated that their happy hour menu wasn't all snackable appetizers; there were smaller-sized dishes for those less hungry, too! I ordered the Kiwilango slider + fries, my mom got the HH fish & chips, and my dad got the wagyu smash slider. Plus $10 beers, of course. Everything came out quickly and beautifully portioned, which made getting dessert (magpie ice cream cake) a no brainer. Delicious!!! I didn't stray into their full Kiwi-based dinner menu, but I can fully vouch for their happy hour, the cozy, charming vibes, kind and attentive servers, and flavorful dishes. Anyway, I do recommend their happy hour, everything on that menu is top notch, and this is a lovely place to bring your pupp to! Ask for a treat at the front! And again, 5 stars for their service.
