Dos Lagos is the kind of course that surprises you. Tucked into the hills of Corona with cliffs on one side and residential & retail on the other. The conditions are strong, the layout flows naturally, and the scenery does more work than it gets credit for. It's Tuesday evening. $44 for 18 holes. A pack of menthol cigarettes. Just enough time before the sun calls it. That's the magic. Fairways were clean, roughs trimmed, greens quick but fair. The par 3s offer a real mix of distances, and the water features add a calm edge without being punishing. When I played, the weather brought in a cool mist that settled across the hills and made the whole place feel quiet and steady. Pace was what you'd expect--some waiting on a few tee boxes, nothing major. Dos Lagos absolutely earns a return visit. For the price, the views, and the quality of the round, it leaves a mark.

The golf course was enjoyable, but I have two complaints. First, there is no driving range, which is a significant drawback. Second, I had an unpleasant encounter with a course marshal (or an employee), a slim white dude in his 30s. After the 18th hole, the cart path splits into two routes: one to the parking lot and another to an employee-only section of the clubhouse. Due to a lack of signage, I accidentally took the path to the clubhouse. The marshal confronted me and told me to turn around in a blunt and aggressive manner. As an Asian male, I felt his tone was disrespectful and possibly discriminatory. I was a paid customer, and I still don't understand why he treated me like this. I seriously thought about filing a formal complaint on the spot. To the management: I am pretty sure you know who this guy is. I will not remove this feedback unless you fire this guy. + Pace of play was slow AF. Took 5 hours for me and my buddies to finish all 18 holes.

Great golf course. Service was simple and professional. They provided great tips and make you feel welcome while providing you space to relax. Course is a great layout. Dormant grass in the winter and professionally maintained. Great experience and will definitely be back.

Thank you to Michelle for being so helpful and accommodating to the baby shower I attended at this location.

Ok course, not terribly difficult, but expected better golf carts. Golf carts here don't have GPS so make sure you bring your range finder. Decently maintained fairways... but lots of small flies that latches onto your pants lol. Thought the course was quite short? There were like 6 par-3 holes, including one that's less than 120 yards from blue tees.

Had the pleasure to play here on one of my off days last week, took a shot and drove out over an hour to see this track, and I'm sure glad I did. Checked in with the manager Matt and got some great tips on the course. Bar staff was incredibly friendly. Drinks are strong. The golf course is visually stunning, in great shape, and near perfect conditions. Challenging course layouts set on a beautiful rolling hillside background. Can't wait to come back this week with my pops so we can enjoy it together!

A friend invited me to play tomorrow, is the golf course worth playing or is eagle glen a better choice? Not used to playing public clubs. Any advice would be helpful. Or suggestions on other area clubs. Thanks

Dos Lagos is a fair course. Eagle Glen is also a good course, but if you haven't played Dos Lagos, you should give it a try.

The retreat by Wedgewood was a typical country club vibe perched a top a mountain overlooking the corona area. The gated community was a beautiful as you drive up to the venue itself. I knew that the package deal was something that appealed to my best friend and her planning so I was curious to see what exactly that entailed. I remember her mentioning that being included catering, cake plus cutting, open bar, DJ, ceremony, and reception tables. The reception was set up on a grass area with plenty of chairs . The sound system worked well, and we were able to hear them say their vows as well which I really enjoyed. As for the reception space I saw it was mentioned that people didn't like how the layout was split up and I can't help but agree with that sentiment. Half of the party was on one side of the clubhouse building and the other half was on the other side. Space that looked like it would become the dance floor ended up just becoming dead space that was not used except for a first dance. Food from Catering was fairly decent and I was starving at the time so it probably tasted even better. There was notably enough food for people to go back and get seconds so no complaints there. Now, for the things that stood out to me as being less than ideal for the space is provided for the bridal party to get ready, felt very much like a closet shoved behind a locker room with horrible lighting. We took pictures in this space which felt a little bit tacky but not much you can do or work with. The photographer seemed nice, but probably not my first choice. I think this was provided by the venue. Another thing that stood out was the DJ. I'm not sure if he was in a rush to get through a playlist or what but honestly, it felt completely haphazard and next to no one ended up dancing because it's hard to get into a groove with only 15 seconds per song. I think that having the dining tables disconnected from the dance floor, broke up the party, and most people ended up standing awkwardly in the clubhouse area near the bar, talking rather than dancing since staff was already starting to clean up tables outside and made it seem like we were being rushed out the door. Overall, the wedding was lovely and I'm sure my best friend enjoyed herself. You get what you pay for and she got everything that she was looking for considering she was originally going to elope, but the parents wanted her to stay and have a full wedding. Would I come back or plan my own wedding here probably not ? Would I recommend it to someone? Maybe if they were looking for an all-encompassing but minimal frills experience. Not meant for dance for couples probably a better space for a quiet affair.

You can tell from all of her experience that she knows what she's doing. We gave her an idea of the colors we wanted, and she was able to help design flowers and decor (e.g., candles, lanterns) that were better than anything we could have imagined. She was able to work within our budget to still make an absolutely stunning arrangement for both our ceremony and our reception. Even better was that she was able to use a mix of largely silk flowers (which looked gorgeous and cost less) as well as as real flowers for the bridal bouquets and groomsmen flowers, and every last detail looked perfect. She is communicative and flexible with you, and she made the daunting task of choosing wedding flowers into a stress free and beautiful experience. Would highly recommend anyone in the area looking for a florist to go with Brandi and Finishing Touch!

Our initial consultation consisted of an in-person visit to Finishing Touch's showroom where there were samples of various wedding decor set up for you to see! My fiance and I did not have a clear vision of what we wanted besides my main goal: have as many lights as possible. Brandi was AMAZING in showing us pictures of previous work and then creating new ideas that she had never done before to bring my goal to life. Brandi's communication was absolute perfection and she was clear and prompt with all of her responses. I was quite nervous about the fact that none of the actual decor would be seen until the day of the wedding; however, during our final in person consultation, Brandi put my mind at ease with her meticulous review of every floral/decor detail. Fast forward to our actual wedding day and Finishing Touch was at the venue setting up before any of us had arrived. I can confidently say that myself, my husband, and every guest in attendance was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the decor and florals from Finishing Touch. We loved being able to use a vendor that could create their own decor installations, but on top of that they are also professional and expert wedding florists (all of our bouquets and flowers from our decor stayed alive for weeks out of water and in the heat). We can not recommend Finishing Touch enough for bringing our wedding decor dreams to life!

My husband and I wanted to plan something of a wedding celebration dinner, and we knew we needed some help because we live on the other side of the country and also none of our family and friends were available to provide much support. JM Events came recommended to me by my photographer who had been in the wedding industry for over a decade. I set up a call with Lilian and we went over my vision for what kind of event I was envisioning and she discussed what kinds of services JME could provide for our event and also shared that they had planned and coordinated similar type events in the recent past. After our call, I also had meetings with other event coordination companies and it was clear to me that JM Events would be the best fit for us as they seemed the most competent and professional. I also liked that JM Events was based nearby our venue. Two months ahead of the event, Alexis began working with us. We tossed around a lot of high-level ideas we were considering and Alexis provided insight on whether or not or how they would work within the constraints of our venue and timeline. Alexis and Lilian also had vendor recs at the ready at different price points whenever we needed them as well. Over time we narrowed down which ideas we wanted at our wedding and Alexis provided invaluable insight on wedding logistics and restaurant service ops that we should consider in our planning. She attended our venue walkthrough with us so that we could begin to visualize placement for different "stations" at our wedding and also served as our advocate with the various vendors we had hired. She also checked in with us and the vendors over increments in time so that we met all of our venue deadlines and to ensure that all of the vendors were in lockstep with what we were planning.  The week of the event, Alexis worked to make sure to send out event confirmations with all of our vendors so that each vendor was prepared to arrive on time and any accommodation our vendors needed were provided. This was so impressive that my make-up artist asked me where I had found Alexis! Alexis and Lillian were consummate professionals through and through, I felt supported the entire time and any question I had was met with a very considered response that only a very experienced events planning professional could provide.  Our wedding celebration was one of the best days of both my husband and my lives. We also received so many compliments on our event, like "best wedding ever" and "can I copy your entire wedding?" I was on cloud nine the whole night and in watching some of my friend's video footage I saw Alexis working in the background making sure that our timeline was executed exactly as planned.  I know certainly that without JME and Alexis, our night would not have went off as seamlessly as it did and I am so grateful for JME and their team. I am already plotting on when I can plan another party and hire JME :)

My (then) boyfriend and I got engaged in February 2021, and I always knew I'd want a slightly longer engagement, just to push things out so I'd have more time to decide on what I wanted and how I wanted it. From the start, however, we already knew we wanted to work with Lilian and her team. Given that I had more time, somewhat wanted the challenge of planning a wedding, and felt pretty prepared, we opted for the month-of services. Once we started working with Lilian, our wedding-planning life honestly became sooo much easier. I feel like we had a pretty good idea and plan for everything we needed, yet, Lilian still, easily, made things even better. There were so many things we didn't know we needed. She was so thorough, organized, and thoughtful and knowing she and her team would be by our side to finalize the details and (basically) walk us down the aisle, really put us at ease. Her communication was spot on - not just with us, but with our vendors, and with handling any (not unexpected) last minute changes. She was so easy to reach and communicate with, and was always so patient and efficient. She knew what we wanted, what we needed, and offered suggestions along the way. On our big day, her team was just as great - from the pre-wedding set up, making sure our bridal party had everything we needed, even helping us order boba - Lilian had everything all thought out. She checked in with us throughout the busy night, and helped wrap things up seamlessly. We truly couldn't imagine a more perfect day, and would not have had it any other way. I'd recommend her to everybody I know - for any event, big or small! Thank you JME team!

You may refer to this place as Celebrations, but it's really Dominico's place. Dominico had a vision for this place, and this place represents his vision for the ideal restaurant. This is a supper club from a calmer, more centered time. Red's the color of the day here, and it's a cool and witty red, the color of crushed velvet and drunken aging starlets. Dominico has gone to some trouble to make the place sweet and inviting without being stuffy. The portions are large here. Dominico believes strongly in his chef, and his chef love short ribs, so that's what I had. There was some depth of flavor in them, but there were just a little fatty for my personal taste. That is not a reflection of the cook or the restaurant; I simply don't love short rib as much as some people do, But I don't regret trying it. Anyway, although the food is good to very good, and the ambiance is exquisite, none of that is the reason you're coming to Dominico's. The reason you're coming to Dominico's, is because the owner himself will seat you and chat you up, and that he'll get on stage with his musician buddies, and he'll sing your favorite lounge lizard hits from the 1950s,'60s, and '70s. Now you're not here because Dominico has the best singing voice in all of Orange County. You are here because Dominico clearly loves his beautiful restaurant, and he loves his beautiful food, and he loves to sing for you. And the effect, as you're drinking red wine and sitting with your lovely date, is absolutely sublime. This is an Italian restaurant, serving American style portions, where the owner is singing love songs in Spanish from the 1970s. This place is absurdly charming, and only the prissiest of the purists could not love it dearly.

Although…read moreHeather communicated very well, there were a couple of incidents that I found slightly unprofessional: 1. I signed a contract with one of her staff as my wedding planner. Unfortunately, from my understanding, there were unexpected changes in the company, so Heather had to take over. However, Heather responded that she would make an exception for me and not charge me an additional $1000 for this change. With all due respect, I should not be financially penalized for changes that an owner experiences; especially since I already signed the contract that I financially agreed to. 2. I encountered a lot of life changes that disrupted my ability to move forward with a wedding that my brothers were supposed to be in. For instance, I had a depressed, suicidal brother, I had another brother leave for Japan for the Marines, and I had an uncle pass away. All vendors except for Heather were so kind to fully refund my deposits due to the situation. Unfortunately, Heather responded that she was still a businesswoman and was financially hurting, so she was in no place to offer a full refund. I basically paid Heather almost $500 to establish a simple contract. I already had all the vendors in place and organized, so this deposit was for nothing. Heather should not be held responsible for unexpected circumstances, but this wedding meant a lot to me. As a business owner, you should be able to compromise with your clients based on their situation. I could have easily used that deposit to help my family for the funeral. I find this situation absurd because I never wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Our wedding list was only 32 guests, but my fiancé insisted that we hire a planner because he did not want me to stress out. I admire him for caring, but this wedding was going to be a private and intimate event with very little management. I blame myself for hiring a wedding planner when I did not need one. It is unfortunate that Heather was thinking like a businesswoman and not a human being with empathy. Nonetheless, please make sure to ask about the refund policy for emergencies such as death, health, etc. Two stars are for her communication, but I can only evaluate Heather based on my experience with her before the wedding date. Therefore, I am unable to provide feedback for her day service since my wedding never happened. Has it ever occurred to you, Heather, that you had not heard from me in a year because I was busy dealing with other important things like planning a funeral? My wedding was the last thing on my mind. Also, I was not complaining about the charge that never happened, I am complaining about your response to your changes. There was no need to comment on that you are more expensive and won't be charging me. We could have proceeded forward with whatever it was we were doing. You contacted ONE venue and that is because they had YOU sign a contract with them. FYI, my pre-engagement photos were scheduled with the photographer I hired for my wedding and I was still refunded the full amount. This vendor did not work for free either and still managed to prioritize customer service over money. You are a business owner and have the liberty to do as you please, but you must have needed the money more than I did, so I hope my contributions helped your business. Nonetheless, well done on your communication. If you have a family member with a life-threatening illness or you have a medical condition that may require potential hospitalization, please do not hire Heather as your wedding planner as she will not refund you the deposit because not make exceptions for your situation simply because she does not "work for free." Thank you.

She wasn't just trying to sell us a package - she genuinely wanted to get to know us as a couple, our story, and the kind of vibe we wanted our wedding to have. That first impression stuck with us. Over the next two years of planning, Abby and her team brought our ideas to life and helped to make our dream wedding a reality. Design: We told Abby we wanted an "East Meets West" theme that blended our cultures in a way that felt modern and elegant, a tough balance that could've easily come off as cheesy in if executed poorly. But Abby nailed it of course, her design sense is unreal. From color palettes and floral choices to the way she tied together modern décor with cultural elements, everything was cohesive and elevated. She has an incredible eye for detail and always found creative, out-of-the-box ways to make our ideas work. The end result was a wedding that felt truly felt like us! Communication: Throughout the entire process, Abby and her team were consistently on top of communication. She kept us updated between meetings, sent friendly reminders, and made sure we were always aligned on next steps. It's easy for things to slip through the cracks when planning something this big, but Abby kept everything organized and stress-free. We never once felt out of the loop, she was always calm, professional, and genuinely fun to talk to. Vendor Management: Abby's vendor management skills are next level. She has deep connections and knows everyone in the wedding world. When we needed vendors for flowers, desserts, or décor, she already had a curated list of the best options with pros and cons ready for us. Some of our vendors were booked more than a year in advance, but Abby and her team were always on top of follow-ups, contracts, and logistics. By the time the big day arrived, every vendor was perfectly coordinated. It really felt like we had assembled the Avengers of wedding vendors! Working Style: We can't say enough about how enjoyable it was to work with Abby and her team. They're so friendly, positive, and genuinely care about their couples. You can tell they love what they do and that they actually enjoy working together - it felt like they were more of friends than coworkers. Whenever unexpected hiccups came up (and they always do in wedding planning), Abby handled them with grace and a sense of humor. She's done hundreds of weddings, so she always had the experience to guide us to make informed decisions. It was so fun working with the entire team and it made the stressful process of wedding planning feel less stressful. Execution: This is where Abby and her team truly shine. Planning is one thing, but executing flawlessly is another and they did it all seamlessly. From coordinating vendors to keeping our timeline on track, they were everywhere and nowhere all at once, putting out fires behind the scenes before we even knew they existed. The day flowed perfectly. At the end of the night, we were blown away to see how they had already packed up all our belongings, made sure our ride was ready, and tied up every little loose end without us lifting a finger. That level of thoughtfulness really showed how much they care. Budget & Financial Management: The truth is weddings are expensive, and it's easy for costs to spiral if you're not careful. Abby was phenomenal at keeping everything organized and transparent. She tracked every expense, set reminders for upcoming milestone payments for vendors, and even handled tipping for all our vendors so we didn't have to stress about it on the big day. What really stood out was her honesty and foresight -- anytime a decision could push us beyond our budget, she proactively flagged it and walked us through the financial trade-offs before we committed. Thanks to her meticulous tracking and planning, there were zero surprises at the end. Everything was clearly outlined and accounted for, which gave us complete peace of mind. In short, Abby and her team are the best in the business. They bring design expertise, organization, and heart to every step of the process. You'll see what we mean once you have the first introductory call with her. She's the kind of planner who truly loves what she does, doesn't settle for anything less than perfect, and it shows in every detail. We highly recommend her for anyone looking for a top class wedding planner!

All we had to do was hand over our room key and off they went! To be honest, we were so busy that day that if we didn't have Heather helping us out, I'm not sure how we could've accomplished what we needed to do. No amount of uncles and aunties could've done what WTW did in the same amount of time hah. Plus we had a cocktail hour "flip" during our ceremony, so having WTW help us during that time was crucial. At the end of the night, all our items were returned to vendors or packed away in the boxes we brought them in and stored in our room. During the month of, WTW used Google's suite to keep everything organized and documented, which I found very helpful since its a program that I am familiar with (vs learning a new program). And Heather also provides some rentals if you want to add more to your decor, which was also VERY helpful when we needed more candles and stands. Heather is professional, calm, and assertive. She knows what needs to be done to help make your day run smoothly and is a team player with the vendors and venue. For reference, our wedding was in Riverside, a church ceremony, 8 people in the wedding party, 120 guests, ~10 vendors, plated meals, and a hotel venue reception. We had a couple funky additions in the night which made the reception feel nontraditional, but Heather handled them like it was normal. We haven't received official pictures yet, but when we do, I hope to update this review so any new potential clients can see her magic. Thanks again!!
