Didn't know Club Champion was even a business until Yelp. Made an appointment online for a full bag evaluation for my husband. Club Champion sent several confirmation emails and called my husband to set up the meeting and experience. We met with William who was very friendly and explained the meeting. Be sure to note that if you do not purchase a new club or clubs then you pay for the club consultation. My husband took about 150 swings with so many varieties of clubs u til he found the right club and head for his playing style. The entire time William gave feedback, evaluated his swing and kept making adjustments to the shaft and head. Seemed like about 20 different variations were performed. My husband opted not to purchase a new club after the session because he will not have time to play for a few months during his coaching season so we just had to pay for an irons evaluation. All of the evaluations are stored in my husband's account and he can go back anytime to order a club with a 90 day guarantee. I liked the set up of the location, the customer service, the flexibility of evaluations and the options available. Great options for local golfers who really want to improve their game.

I wasn't sure not sure if I wanted to go to the expense of a club fitting and definitely unsure about placing an order. But, after taking the first step and scheduling an appointment I found Rob to be an expert with patience :) not being an expert golfer there were many practice shots that went in different directions. However, in a short amount of time and different clubs prepared by Rob the variance between shots grew smaller. And .. with Rob's professionalism I was able to take the next step and order clubs fit to my swing. Yes, the club fitters can be different and that is why I am taking the time to highly recommend you take your time and schedule an appointment with Rob.

What motivated me to leave this review though was the service we received in the restaurant. The food was the best I've had at a golf course, and the server, Zach (tall white guy with glasses), was so courteous and professional I thought that he deserved some recognition. Zach was very polite, social, and made sure we had every thing we needed in a timely manner. The course is truly lucky to have him employed. Thank you, Zach! We will be back. -Cody and Mara.

As the…read moremother of one of the guests, I was very disappointed to hear about their experience at Hidden Valley Golf Club during what was supposed to be a special bachelor party outing. While I was not present, I am sharing my concern based on what my son and his group described. They reported feeling unwelcome from the moment they arrived, with staff interactions that came across as rude and condescending toward their inexperience. They also shared that the experience became increasingly uncomfortable throughout the round, to the point where they were unable to complete their 18 holes. What is especially concerning is that they were not the only guests who felt this way that day. Others reportedly expressed similar concerns regarding staff behavior and treatment of patrons. Regardless of skill level or experience, guests should feel respected and treated fairly. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the experience for future visitors.

As a beginner, I've always felt comfortable practicing at the range and playing the course. The environment is welcoming, and the staff and overall atmosphere make it easy to learn and enjoy golf without feeling intimidated. I really appreciate that Van Buren Golf Course provides a place where beginners can feel at ease. The course is well maintained, enjoyable to play, and a great spot to visit after work. Management also took my recent concerns seriously and made an effort to address them, which I appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend Van Buren Golf Course. The range and course have been consistently great, and I look forward to continuing to come back.

Mike was at the register he said he played golf for 50 years really nice guy and very honest. He helped us get set up and recommended we didn't waste our money on expensive equipment. The course was 9 holes majority of them being par 3 (meaning the goal is to get the ball in the hole in 3 hits) there was maybe 2 par 4s. This is a great course if you're new. They also have an excellent driving range for $14 a bucket. The best part is there is a nice bar right behind the driving range with a pool table. I'm definitely coming back and hopefully get good at golf!

A Thank You to Trek Bike…read more I want to share how much I appreciate the care and integrity Trek bike has shown with my Parlee bike. From the moment I brought my bike in, it was clear these folks actually know what they're doing--and more importantly, they respect their customers enough to be straight with them. What stood out most is how transparent they were. No upsells, no unnecessary work pitched just to pad the bill. They took time to understand what my bike needed and gave me honest advice. That kind of straightforwardness is rare and it made a real difference in how much I trust them. But here's what really impressed me: they caught a factory recall on my Shimano crank power meter and offered to replace it without charging me a dime. Most shops would've either missed it or found a way to bill me for the service. Not Trek. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of, no cost to me. That's the kind of thing that tells you a lot about a business. Special thanks to Caleb--he was instrumental in taking care of my bike and making sure everything was handled right. Bryce was equally knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process too. The whole team is genuinely skilled and personable. It makes the whole experience easier--you're not second-guessing whether they understand what they're talking about. You just know they do. I'm grateful to have a shop I can trust with my bike, and people like Caleb and Bryce who actually care about doing the work right. Trek bike has earned my confidence, and I won't hesitate to bring them my business again.

We went on as many rides as we can, my son is too short for the bigger rides and unfortunately my nephew is too tall for the kid rides. I couldn't believe how much fun it was when there isn't so many people crowding! A few rides weren't working at the time or they said it's been closed such as the gravity one, sawmill, and a boat one that was covered with a tarp. We had so much fun at the arcade, the prizes are the same as any ticket prize location, lots of games and on a hot day it's such a nice place to sit and relax. We didn't try the mini golf or the buccaneer water play area, it wasn't crowded so we definitely could've gone but we stayed at the rides and the arcade. The only downside is we cannot bring any outside drinks or food, we weren't sure if they would allow us to bring dietary restricted foods if we mentioned allergies or intolerances, but we were fine without our snacks.

When we entered the park, we double checked with everyone if there are rides open for his height and we were told there were plenty. Especially for the bumper car because that's what he's really looking forward to first time at an amusement park. So we spent $100+ to get in. When we got bumper car place, there were people in there already playing. We were the only one waiting there, and i asked that staff lady if my son was tall enough to ride the car. She glanced at me and yelled, 'I'll check later'. Even when the ruler was hided next to her, even when there's no one else in the line, even when she's doing nothing just standing there looking at the adults driving bumper cars... she just had us waited and got my son hope so high. When their turn was done, she slowly pushed the car to the side, took out the ruler behind her stand and told us oh he's not tall enough. I held it in, and asked politely if my son can sit at the passenger seat and I'll drive since there were seat belts. She said no way. Only because my 4 years old was so excited to get in there, I tried again, asking ' There's no one here yet, you don't need to turn on the machine, can he just sit on it and feel the bumper car for one minute?' Again, she said 'no way'. We understand you may have a rule to follow, but you could have tell us the second we ask you if we our height meet your requirement instead of getting a kid's expectations so high, letting him watch others playing and having fun, then turn him down while you are not even doing anything except watching bunch white adults riding the bumper car. Castle park could have a ruler showing at front saying below 42" are not gonna have any rides, instead, they charge full price for kids over 36" while have nothing preparing for them. Our first amusement park experience leaving with tears and upset, my son was crying he said 'I waited. Why can't I play bumper car?' I told him, 'sorry baby, to make sure you are safe, you need to be tall enough to ride that.' And he cried, 'but I waited...'
