The restaurant was small but there were outdoor seatings to accommodate the crowds. Parking can be tricky, but we were able to get one without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly worker who took our order. Glancing at the menu, we knew what to order. We decided to try their carne asada tacos and al pastor tacos. For drinks, we decided to get the strawberry horchata and Mexican coke. I really enjoyed their strawberry horchata as it tasted like a strawberry shortcake. They have a coconut flavor one which I might try next time. After ordering, we grabbed a table by the salsa bar. I like how the salsa bar is self-served so you can have unlimited toppings. Overall, the tacos came out fast and were bomb! They give you a lot of meats on each tacos. Did I mention the meats were high quality? I guess that justified the cost. The meats were nicely charred flavor. Very similar to how they grilled their meats at their other location. I will for sure be coming back for the good food and vibes!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, greeting you with a smile every time. There are plenty of options to choose from, and the portions are solid they're not skimpy at all. The meats are juicy and full of flavor, and the tripas are cooked perfectly crispy, just how they should be. They also have a great sauce and toppings area with lots of choices, so you can customize everything exactly how you like it. Plus, they even offer bone marrow, which you don't see everywhere. Overall, this is easily the best taco spot in the area in my opinion. Definitely a go-to if you're craving good tacos

Small amount of seating inside - maybe 3-4 booths, 2 tables and 6 seats at the bar, but they have more seating outside which was fully enclosed and heated. We snagged the last table inside and ordered chips and queso to start. Frankly made flour tortilla chips that were thick and crunchy - the perfect vessel for the queso sauce which was perfectly cheesy and delish. For dinner my husband got the Barbadilla and I asked our server if he would recommend the lime-cilantro chicken or chicken tinga for the Calabaza Quesadilla and he recommended the chicken tinga - he did not stead me wrong! Huge portions of meat in the quesadilla - I only ate a third and am having the rest for lunch tomorrow. The two servers could not have been nicer or more helpful and our dinner arrived in record time. We spent $65 for our two entrees, appetizer, a coke and a beer before tip. Love having such awesome restaurants in B-Town!

The Centro Bowl is consistently satisfying and never disappoints. Great flavors and a solid, reliable choice every time. The Tlayuda, however, was a bit underwhelming. It was difficult to eat and the portion felt small, leaving us wanting more. Overall, we still enjoy Centro for its atmosphere and dependable dishes, good service. We'll definitely be back, and the Centro Bowl will remain our go-to order.

The atmosphere is iconic, the service is top notch, and the food is spectacular. I LOVE that the whole menu (mostly) is gluten free. That's how it should be at a Mexican place! As always, I started with the margarita flight. My fantastic server helped me select 4 that fit my preferences, and I'm so glad I listened to her. Each more delicious than the next. So many edible flowers too! Iconic. The hamaci ceviche was so fresh and delicious. I had to stop myself from licking the plate. The truffle taquitos were also lovely. I got the branzino enchilada as my main and WOW! Phenomenal texture and flavor. It all just worked. On top of this, the plating is gorgeous and the tables are intimate and cozy. Start to finish, they have mastered the customer experience and are able to deliver not only a delicious meal, but the feeling that you are special and cared for. Truly an incredible experience and one I will pursue again soon.

Food came out quickly. Our server was very friendly as well. Checked up on us often and was very warm. We ordered a couple drinks. They were solid and got me a bit tipsy lol. We ordered queso fries as our appetizer. It was my favorite thing we ate there. Fries were warm, crunchy, and soft in the inside. The sauce and meat tasted great too. We also ordered corn dogs off the happy hour menu - the cornbread around the dog itself was thinner than I'm used to in a normal corn dog, which I liked! It was a good bread to meat ratio and the sauce was excellent. For our main, we got the bang bang burrito and the birria tacos. The burrito was delicious. Super flavorful and the side salad was good too. Loved the dressing. The birria tacos were not the best I've ever had. The tacos themselves were good, and the side of beans was solid. Just the consommé was very oily. Very enjoyable experience overall. Definitely would return.

We instead focused on the Plate of Nations menu which was $35 serves 2 people - basically the MLK neighborhood version of restaurant week. - Chips and salsa and queso - the chips were decent but the salsa was thick in texture, which is not really my preference. I liked the cheese and wish they gave more than just a small sauce cup - Chicken wings - we got the honey butter and it was great - Fried Brussels sprouts - also very delicious. Amazing execution of the appetizers - Enchiladas - this is where it went downhill. The sauce was bitter and the chicken was a bit dry - Tacos - basically kind of like Taco Bell but with fresher ingredients. Happy hour it's like $12 for 2 tacos which is quite a ripoff (and extra $4-5 surcharge for other proteins beyond ground beef and chicken...) - Rice was good but I was barely able to eat the beans as it was not that good I got the raspberry mint caipirinha for the cocktail and it was really refreshing. I loved the muddled fruit that I decided to pour water into the cup as an infused water after finishing the drink In addition we had the tajin-dusted fried zucchini and that was good. I love the creamy green chile sauce which acted as a nice dip for the chips because they were so stingy with the queso dip. For dessert we tried the sopapillas which is quite airy and it's nice to try it sweet instead of savory. Service is really slow. It took us almost 3 hours to finish the meal, with lots of waiting in between courses. This needs to be improved
