Barbacoa but it's not the cheek. It's more like brisket.

They give you 2 different choices in salsa spicy and not spicy. The service is good the menu is large and there is something for everyone.

We have been stopping at Dos Chiles for the last few years and they never disappoint. You are always offered either mild or spicy salsa, and plenty of tortilla chips of course. However if you feel adventurous ask for the habanero or green salsa, they are only provided upon request. You must order the fresh Mexican Guacamole! Whether you choose the Carne Asada, Steak Ranchero or Parrillada, you will be truly satisfied. I seem to always get something to wash all that down and my go to drinks are the Michelada with Pacifico or Dark Modelo, Margarita on the rocks, or a delicious Mojito.

Service is good, and food came out super fast! The restaurant is nice and has plenty of room and nice open atmosphere. They ask you when you are seated if you want spicy or mild salsa. You want the spicy. The mild is basically all tomato. I got the fajita chicken flautas, and the chicken was good but they come covered in queso which makes the crispy flour tortilla soggy fast. I'd recommend you get the queso on the side. The rice and beans are average. Ultimately I'd eat here again, but would order something else.

The Bowie location has a special menu, let's just start off by saying If you go you have to check that out first, especially if you have only been to the Bridgeport location. Daily specials can be a bit overwhelming. Usually they have a couple listed on the front desk as you check in but more on the display board by the kitchen. It's all a bit to wrap your mind around. Service always starts with chips and salsa of which they have mild or hot options. Don't let this fool you as each day they are made fresh and some days the mild is kinda spicy as well. I suggest for a first timer always getting one of each and sample before assuming. Portion sizes are pretty large on most items so don't worry they do have to go boxes if you fill up on chips beforehand getting excited about the salsa. In the dozens of times I have eaten here it would be hard to select just one thing to speak highly on as there are numerous options which rank pretty highly in flavor. If you prefer the healthier side they have you covered as well.

It's rare to find people who combine professionalism with such a personal touch. On top of that, the food is outstanding, the jalapeño poppers, brisket enchiladas, and chili rancheros are especially delicious. I would confidently recommend them to anyone.

It is a neat place inside but that doesn't overcome the shortcomings. I had Mexican food many times in the last couple days so I opted for the jalapeño peach pork chop. It was honestly tougher than leather- I really needed a sawsall to cut it. The flavor was fine. I knew I was in trouble when it arrived with a couple Libby's peaches fresh from the can sitting on the pork chop. My sides were tasteless mashed potatoes and steamed, mushy veggies. Chips and salsa, average. Queso with flavorless ground beef, average. My son had the birria tacos which were good. Not great by any stretch- it wasn't a traditional recipe and didn't have the traditional Oaxaca cheese. They used cheddar or another orange cheese. He said "good", I will call them "average": He ate all of the rice so it must have been decent. I didn't try a margarita but the ones I saw looked pretty typical for such a place big glass and probably average. I wouldn't eat here again. $50 for 2, no alcohol and I had water. We did get an order of Queso. There has to be better Mexican places than this nearby.
