It's smells so bad in there. I could not sit in there let alone eat there. The smell gets worse the further you go into the store. In the back room where the long wedding dress is smelled like urine so bad that I told my husband I felt like I was going to puke and needed to leave right away. I could not get the smell out of my nose and mouth for a long time afterwards. read more

Always a go to for lunch, my favorite-grilled chicken sandwich on an onion roll with grilled onions & cheese. They also have the best bread pudding ever!! read more

Really great idea! Tables are tucked in the antique store and the staff is so friendly. The food was good and service fast. Definitely consider this place if you're in Bowie and they are open. I had a vanilla milkshake and it was delicious! Also the beef stew and it was a hearty bowl of veggies with beef. We also had chicken salad and Philly sandwich. Juicy and right amount of everything. Simple and good. Definitely recommend read more

Took my parents here to eat and it gave us a "day trip" they could do. The food was great but the owner Lanny is a GEM of a person. He came out from the kitchen and spent 30-40 minutes sitting at the table with us chatting with my parents. It made my dad's day. If you are in Bowie, please stop in, buy dessert, a milkshake, a piece of gum - something. They deserve the business. read more

I purchased a reed pump organ from as estate sale, that was purchased from Nostalgia Antique in 1998. Built in 1905 and originally sold with a promissory note for $25.00. It is still 100 percent in tact and is as beautiful as ever. Just thought I would share the joyful excitement and news. sorry don't know how to download a picture of it. read more

Not worth $11 any more. Ate there today, wish I had of took pictures of food. You could laugh like we did when desert came. Strawberry short cake was 1 inch wide, & thin like a peice of paper. Well last visit ever. read more

Their food is so good and people nice as can be. So many things to look at and brings back memories of days gone by

We got in right away, we had made reservations for 12:15 and when we got there our table was waiting for us with our name on it. We had been 10 years and was hoping it would still be as good now, we were not disappointed, and we weren't. Reasonably priced and included sandwich with a side, I had the stew in it was good. But wait there's more, it also included our drinks and dessert. read more

We have had events at this place for over 20 years. Always great food, we have had them cater other locations also. I graduated with the owner. Always a friendly place. I try to get some antique and bring it home each time. Maybe a lamp, maybe one of those old fashioned towel hangers that goes under your kitchen cabinet. I'll try to get something that we don't buy nowadays. So I have stuff all over my house from this place. We love it so much. Actually going there tomorrow for a Class gathering. read more

10/10 would recommend the food!! The service however sucked and lacked the professionalism and well mannered servers that we are accustomed to in the establishment. Family and i have been visiting this lovely restaurant for many years now but my last two visits have been very underwhelming. We have loved this place and their food but the new servers are just not it read more

Larry & Lanny & staff do a great job with the food. Antiques around you while you eat. Been eating here for over 15 yrs while visiting family. They only serve lunch. Desserts are homemade and change daily. You can have stew, sandwiches, patty melt, chicken/tuna salad plate w fruit, daily special w veggies. The old timey antique soda fountain comes with plenty kinds of milkshakes, malts, banana splits, & old fashion soda drinks. Soda fountain is open as long as Antiques store is open. Drop in & pay them a visit. Right on corner of downtown Bowie. read more

Always Good! Under staffed, so a busy time may result in slower service, but the food never disappoints.

What a trip down memory lane! When you walk in you are met with an old soda fountain bar with charming stools and the most gorgeous brass ornate cash register. Every inch of the historic building is packed with antiques and curiosities. They serve soda fountain drinks in a mason jar like Dr Pepper with vanilla syrup or cherry limeades. They also serve bluebell ice team in floats or banana splits. We had the stew and it as amazing as any grandma stew out there. The chef salad was packed with vegetables and as fresh as ever. It is truly a place to stop if you are in the area and the customer service is the highest quality top notch! If you're looking for a quiet little private book they have those too tucked away all over the shop! So interesting your eye never gets bored. read more
