I found this place after searching on Yelp for Tex Mex. I am glad that I did. This place is a hidden gem in the Richardson. The atmosphere was casual and the kids loved it. The food was excellent. The salsa that comes with the chips and salsa is fresh. The Mexican street corn was delicious too. I had the burrito and it came with fries. I loved this combination. The fajita were excellent and the portions were great. The service was excellent and the food was great. We will definitely come back again.

Guys! If you have been sleeping on the Mexican lasagna... don't!!! It is SO good!!! So much better than I expected it to be and the portion size is beyond generous. If you're a sauce kind of person, like myself, they do not hold back and the sauce is delicious! Service is always prompt and on point! One of my favorite spots in Richardson.

Pleasantly surprised by this place! Genuinely a great dinner for much cheaper than expected. Came here for a double date and got the chimichanga with brisket. It was delicious and enough for me to have leftovers the next day. Our server was kind, everything came out quickly. And they let us sit for a while close to closing to chat before we left.

If you didn't pull into this little shopping center, you would never know what you're missing. Tucked into a neighborhood road, this place feels like a true hidden gem. I've been here over 100 times, primarily back when it was Frankie's, and I gotta say the quality hasn't changed a bit. Plenty of seating indoors with a large bar and plenty of TV's. Chips and salsa are something to write home about, so solid. White queso rivals any in DFW. Went on a Saturday and Sunday back to back and ordered the breakfast enchiladas both times. They were stuffed with breakfast sausage and cheese and then topped with hollandaise sauce and 2 eggs, incredible. The margaritas, specifically the frozen, are stiff and taste great. Service is friendly, and food/drinks come out quickly.

Lorena was such an awesome bartender! She was so great with us! My parents come here regularly and I can see why! We started off with the brisket queso, and it is some of the best queso I have ever had in my life! The brisket in the wueso was so tender and juicy and flavorful that we ate the whole thing in less than five mins!!! I also ordered the Mexican martini, which was absolutely delicious, rimmed with tajin gave it that extra ummph of a flair!! Lastly the enchiladas, I got the beef and got wueso and the chili sauce on both of them since that queso was so dang good, and it was just enough! Super yummy, light, didn't feel overly stuffed. Left feeling happy and full!!

Okay so service was good! Blonde hair girl was fantastic! Others were nice as well! It's a clean restaurant and decorated cute. The salsa is okay. Not any spice and nothing special about it. The michelada is HUGE but nothing special at all about it. I didn't even finish it or ask for another. The shrimp cocktail was amazing! And they had these purple flowers underneath the glass, super cute! The chips were spicer than everything I received by the way. But it was Super fresh, packed and tons of flavor! I got the guisada to go and man that was super delicious! I went for the michelada and since that and the salsa wasn't good that's why it gets 4 stars.

We went here because it was convenient and when we left, we were convinced that we will be back. We went around 3:30 in the afternoon so we had the place practically to ourselves. The music was great (80's ish), but it was a little bit loud since the place was relatively empty. We ordered brisket enchiladas and Agustin's enchiladas with mole sauce and black beans. Since it was happy hour, we decided to indulge in frozen margaritas. Our waitress was very attentive. She started us with a basket of chips and small individual containers of salsa. The fresh, crunchy chips were perfectly paired with the gently spicy salsa. The waitress let me taste it in advance of putting in my order. My husband calls me a mole snob and their mole did not disappoint. I asked for a combination of chicken and fajita beef which they accommodated. The brisket enchiladas were so unique and so tasty. The flavors were all well balanced. The food was so good, I couldn't stop eating it. I took a chance on a frozen margarita. I usually expect them to be average and mild. The margaritas we got were just the right amount of sweet and sour. The tequila was generous but balanced. We were quite pleased with our selections and will certainly be back.

The interior is nice, and it's located in a food complex. The service was great. The waiter constantly checked on us, gave us nachos, and refilled our waters. We got seated immediately. Decent tex-mex spot with good quesadillas and enchiladas.

Gluten is from wheat, so yes, chicken is gluten free. White tortillas are not but corn tortillas are gluten-free.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

Today was her birthday (one of those that come every 10 years) and she wanted to go to Papasitos. I made reservations, checked the box that we were celebrating a BD. We arrived ahead of our reservation and had a little wait for a table. No problem. The young lady from the check in seated us and ask if we were celebrating anything. I told her that it was my wife's birthday, but she didn't want the full blown hooten hollering sombrero celebration. We waited 8-10 minutes before a server came to our table. He immediately apologized for the wait and said that he was helping out another waiter that was supposed to have our table. He took our drink order and soon returned with our drinks. To my surprise, he proceeded to take our food order. I thought he was temporarily helping out until the other server could catch up and take over. That wasn't the case. Ok, No problem so far. I'm giving 2 stars because the food came out super fast and hot and delicious. Then our server delivers hot flour tortillas.., all 3 of them. After each eating one taco, we were ready for another batch. Now this is where it started to go downhill. Several minutes go by and I could not grab his attention. I literally had to waive my hand in the air to flag him down across the restaurant. He finally looked my direction and soon delivered more tortillas. That was the last we saw of him. No checking on our table, no refills on our drinks, no nothing. After we finished our meal, we waited another 25 minutes to try to get his attention to close out our meal. He would never look our way. He was like a horse with blinders. Honestly, I think he forgot that he was our server OR MAYBE he saw us as 2 people and his gratuity was going to be smaller compared to the larger tables. Finally, I flagged down another server from another table and ask if he could close us out. He asked if we had a paper receipt, which we had not. He closed us out on his iPad. I didn't even get the chance to order my wife a dessert to celebrate the occasion. No bueno! Let's just say the service was abysmal and absolutely unacceptable. My man went MIA. It is questionable whether I will return to this establishment.
