Before making the hour-long drive to the dealership, we spoke with someone over the phone, submitted all of the requested information for a loan approval, and were told we had been approved. When we asked about the interest rate, we were told we would need to come in person to discuss it. Once we arrived, everything changed. The sales/finance manager immediately asked for pay stubs or bank statements. My brother, who is a government employee, explained that for security reasons he couldn't access his pay stubs from just any computer and would be able to provide them the following day from work. That seemed like a reasonable explanation. I simply asked whether they could give us an estimate of what the interest rate might look like in the meantime. Instead of answering the question professionally, the manager asked why I was speaking for my brother since he was the one buying the vehicle. I explained that he was a first-time buyer and that I had previously worked as a car sales consultant, so I was familiar with the process and was only trying to help. His attitude immediately became hostile. He told us that he was "very busy" because he ran both the sales and finance departments and that customers were calling to buy cars. He then said that us not coming "prepared" was aggravating to him--even though we had already submitted everything they requested before driving an hour to the dealership, and they were the ones who told us to come in. At that point, I told my brother we were leaving. As we walked away, the manager's parting words were, "Have a fucking nice day." I responded by telling him that he was being disrespectful and that an adult should conduct himself professionally. Instead of de-escalating the situation, he continued yelling profanities at us as we left. I've purchased and sold vehicles before, and I've never been treated with such disrespect. Regardless of whether a deal goes through, every customer deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone.

I recognize you are taking a chance when you buy a used car but didn't expect any major issues because the mileage was so low and the carfax mentioned it was in a 2 fender benders but only cosmetic damage which was repaired before I bought it. However, a month after having the car I had to 1)replace tires, 2)brakes & rotors, 3)car putts and has stalls on me and still trying to figure that out after paying for 2 diagnostics. Took it to Nissan dealership because the powertrain warranty is still effective but dealerships do what they can and lie until the warranty expires so they basically did nothing but charge me for looking at it and give me a list of services I need to buy including 5) a bent strut assembly. Lastly, 5) the airbag light came on saying there is something wrong with it. So to my point the dealership basically sold me a piece of junk and offered me to buy an extended warranty 2 months later after my complaints. This is probably more of a moral issue than a legal issue but when a place has no integrity and don't care what they sell you, you probably should NOT buy from them. Also, learn from me to get the car thoroughly checked before buying regardless of what shape you think its in. It will save you the headache I have right now!

We had a great…read moreexperience buying this same car 5 years ago from the CarMax White Marsh location but I definitely wanted to shout out CarMax Brandywine Crossing for their stellar customer service, and the efficient, quick and seamless experience! We walked in (on time) for our 4pm appointment and we were wrapped up and sent off (with a refund, BTW) in less than 2 hours! Sheesh ... the drive getting here took about the same amount of time! Would love to hear about YOUR experience. When you go, tell them you saw them on Yelp!

Within 4 months I had to replace: Oil Pan Oil Pan Gasket 6 months later I had to take vehicle back to repair shop to be told it needed. Front Brakes Back Brakes Front Rotors Back Rotors Thermostat Radiator New Water Pump A/C Flush Valve Cover Gasket Axle Shaft Seals Motor Mounts 2 weeks later Check engine light came on and was told it needed. Spark Plugs and Wires In only 11 months and only 18,000 miles driven all of this needs to be done to the vehicle. You cannot convince me that they did not sell me a lemon. They have now had my car for a week and I have asked to speak with a manager every day and was told Mark the manager would call me back. Each day I called to speak with him I never receive a call back. Today I called again and was told he is aware of the situation and would call me and still no call back. Yes they have me in a rental. But, for the last 52 days my car has been at someones repair shop for 37 of those days. I am paying a car note for a car I am not even driving. I feel so helpless and now wonder If I need to contact a lawyer to get this resolved. They do not care about their customers, only the sale. Once the sale is complete and there are issues. They leave you to deal with the issues on you own. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

When I arrived I took a test drive. Muhammad gave me the keys. The car would not go over 55 miles per hour and the check engine light came on 5 minutes into the test drive. When I pushed the gas it would not accelerate. When I shared what happened when I got back to the dealer they said ok and took the keys. Complete waste of time.

I had contacted Paul and setup a time to come see it, only to find out after I got there that the owner had locked up all the keys and gone away on a trip. I was told there was some kind of mixup and how sorry they were and that the owner would be calling me to try and fix things and give me a slight discount for the wasted trip. Never got a call. I contact Paul through marketplace after work the next day and even he was upset that the owner hadn't given me a call, so he contacted the owner for me and was told that he would be giving me a call shortly. Still never got a call. I contact Paul again today, and again he contacts the owner and I still never received a call. The owner of this place is a joke and must not like money. I showed up the first time with a blank check in hand ready to pay whatever they asked for it as long as it ran right and never even got as far as starting the car. I've pretty much been turned away not by the employees, but by the owner. Apparently this is how he does business. Do not waste your time here. This is not a place you want to do business. If you can even get to the point where business can be done.

    This dealership or farce of a dealership deserves negative 5 stars. I purchased a vehicle from them…read morethat i didn't get to take home for 4 days because it had to go through inspection and also needed struts. I picked the car up and noticed a knocking noise in the rear. Thinking the license plates were loose i went home. The next day, i noticed the car would stall /jerk when I hit the gas. I parked it immediately. Thw next morning i took it to a trusted mechanic and it was determined that the transmission was bad and the struts were never replaced. I immediately went back to the dealership with the diagnosis and Taurus and a few other men accused me of lying about the transmission. He advised to leave the car with them to do their own diagnostic and they would call me when it was ready. Four days later i was told they fixed the struts and flushed the transmission fluid and that the car was ready for pick up. I picked the car up two days later and Taurus demanded i decide if i was keeping the car or not because if not he can put it back up for sale. I stated that i wanted a second opinion at the nissan dealership, he got angry and made one of the salesmen ride with me to the dealership. I paid 160 for nissan to tell me what i already knew, the transmission was bad. They also mentioned 6 other repairs that needed to be done, parts alone would cost $700. I took the vehicle back along with the paper work and got my money back! Guess what? The vehicle is still for sale on their website smh. Please, take a mechanic with you if you plan to purchase from them. The vehicle i took a chance with was the white 09 nissan altima. I have the paperwork dated for 12/15/2017 showing EVERYTHING wrong with that vehicle.
