The initial service representative told me it would be a three-day wait just to have the vehicle looked at. While trying to figure out a plan outside, a second staff member approached me. I explained that the vehicle would not reverse at all, making it impossible for me to even back out of their lot safely. I also mentioned an active recall on the vehicle. I was told that because they did not have a certified transmission technician on-site, they could not help me and that the recall repair wouldn't fix the issue anyway. Instead of offering to help arrange a tow or ensuring my safety, the staff member told me my best option was to drive the malfunctioning vehicle over 30 minutes away in heavy traffic to dealerships in Annapolis or Alexandria. When I reminded him that I could not even put the vehicle in reverse to leave, he asked if I could drive forward, told me to use the forward gears to get back on the main highway, and wished me good luck. A specialized dealership should never advise a customer to drive a severely compromised, unsafe vehicle back into traffic. The complete lack of assistance, basic safety concern, or guidance on alternative towing options was incredibly disappointing. Update: I managed to get the vehicle to a different Jeep dealership, where the staff took the situation seriously and took the vehicle in for service immediately without hesitation. That is how urgent safety issues should be handled.

Customers should be informed in advance if the service may take four or five hours so they can make other arrangements. I was quoted approximately $800 for the brake service, but the labor cost was not clearly explained or itemized before I approved the work. After paying nearly $1,000, I realized that about $430 was for labor. The parts and labor charges should be clearly separated before the customer authorizes the service. I would appreciate it if you could review my invoice and consider an adjustment to the labor charge.

I explained to them the car sits a lot now that I'm retired and an oil change dont go by day to day or month to month that it go's by the next oil change mileage integral and I'm early. then they tell me I need an oil pan that is stripped out. I said how can that be you guys are the only ones changing the oil all these years. they said pans can wear out. as a retired mechanic thats bull! I said give back the car you can stick the tires for life where the sun don't shine and I will never buy a car here again. I waited for an oil change and routine maintenance. Normally the maintenance with an appointment would take a little over an hour but this was not the case today. Appointment time: 10:00 a.m. Arrival time: 10:01 a.m. Time I walked out with my keys in my hand: 12:08 p.m. Total completion time: 2 hours 6 minutes. I peeked out the window to find that my car had been serviced and parked. I'm not sure for how long, but there was some sort of team meeting/talk going on that could've contributed to the delay. I drew their attention to my car being done and they indicated only the paperwork needed to be done. I popped into the restroom and came right back out. There was an additional 25 minute delay from the point that I informed them. I missed another appointment due to this unexpected wait time. If you use Waldorf Ford services, I suggest you anticipate at least 2 hours for the completion time of regular maintenance.

Before you buy here, check your bottom line numbers. They do not do well in math. I asked for them to justify the $4600 and got ZERO response. The taxes should have been about $1920 and the tags about $500-600. My math shows that equals about $2500-2600 but their math shows that it equals $4600. I hope they see this review!!! They say one thing and do another!.. Buyer beware before you sign!

Extremely friendly, provided a ton of details, and I didn't feel pressured like most dealers I've dealt with. We communicated through call, text, and email about the vehicle and trade-in. Decided to take the jump and do a test drive that day. When I pulled up, me and my family were greeted by Tatyana and Mark. They had the car ready for test drive. While I test drove they took my old car in to review a trade-in offer. We came back, reviewed deals/offers, and negotiated. Possibly the best decision I've ever made! I Rarely do this but I am very frustrated …read more I bought a used Dodge Ram 1500 from Waldorf Ford at the end of July drove it for less than 48 hours and engine light came on and the back up camera quit working. They put it in for repair telling me it was something minor. Didn't fix the camera, and told me there was a recall part needed and they would call me when it came in. Gave the truck back and we drove it for about a week and it started overheating. Dropped the truck off again on Aug 5 because i needed to drive my son to California. I have to say, They have provided a rental car the entire time but I bought a truck and i get a rental car. Today is September 5th i have made two truck payments on a vehicle I haven't even hardly driven . At this point, I don't even want the truck. No one has called to give me an update. There is no timeline given. I have been buying cars at Waldorf Ford for more than 20 years but I have bought my last vehicle from them Very disappointed and dissatisfied Brent
