Oh, and he wasn't even the cheapest quote I've gotten both times, either, but he's been the most reliable and straightforward. I've had situations where the tow company was either very rude (for no apparent reason; just for trying to get a quote), straight up dishonest, or no-show after I agreed to everything. I called (6) tow companies closest to me before I remembered that I used Stay Strapped Towing before. All (6) of them I called and spoke to gave me what looked like a "better" quote on paper, but ultimately, most of them weren't of any help. Two of them didn't have anyone available. Another one didn't want to make the trip at all because it was a holiday. Another one wouldn't even give me a total straight up price (he told me it's $5/mile and asked me to do the calculation by myself). Another one didn't show up and wouldn't take my calls after I had already agreed to everything and even offered to pay before they showed up. Anyway, it was a total nightmare. But as soon as I called Stay Strapped Towing, he immediately gave me the run down. Even though I called him at a time when he could have been spending time with his family, he still took the time to take my call, give me a quote, and gave me his word that he was going to show. I couldn't ask for anything more than that. Especially in this day and age where everyone is trying to get over on each other (including other business owners), I really appreciate Stay Strapped Towing. It's not always about the cheapest price. Assurance, peace of mind, and professionalism are way more important, especially when you are dealing with your vehicle or primary mode of transportation. Just want to say thank you again to Stay Strapped Towing for coming through for me, and also share my experience with others so people can see the difference between a business that cares about customers and those that just want to screw customers or waste their time.

My car needed to be towed this past weekend and K and K was the first towing company I called because they seemed to have a good rating. When I called them the first time I immediately got someone on the phone (which was a good sign.) I told them exactly where I was and where I needed my car to be towed to, and they gave me a decent quote. I told the dispatcher to give me 5 minutes and I'll call them back. I called them back 8 minutes later, and he picked up again, and I agreed to everything. I even asked them about payment options and if I have to pay before they arrive (so they know I'm serious). They said payment will be collected upon the tow truck's arrival. I said, ok, cool. Mind you, I'm paying out of pocket. Not through my insurance or some middle man company. I also asked them for an Estimated Arrival Time, and they told me it would be about 30-45 minutes. I said, that's totally fine. I'll be right here waiting. Just out of curiosity, I decided to call them back 40 minutes later to get an update on the ETA, and no one picked up. I texted the number, no one replied. I called again, no one picked up. So I left a voicemail. I called again, no one picked up. No one showed up either. I called this company a total of 8 times and sent two text messages and I got totally ignored when I had already agreed to everything and just needed an update on the ETA. If they were no longer able to make it, all they could have done is just call me back and let me know, instead of ghosting me. I couldn't believe a legit business would act like this. Anyway, after getting sick and tired of waiting, I decided to call a few other towing companies in the area. Most of them were disappointing (drivers not available, won't give me a straight quote, etc)... but at least they didn't ignore my calls or leave me hanging. I ended up using Stay Strapped Towing company because he was the only one that kept his word and came through for me. I had a flat tire while on the highway, and it was extremely stressful - Mr. Keon was super responsive and the towing process was just so smooth and easy. In addition, the cost and service that Mr. Keon offers CANNOT be beat - it is extremely competitive, and he is very transparent in regards to the total you would be paying. Unacceptably BAD Service - They Didn't Make a Mistake Right…read more Waugh Chapel Towing and Auto (WCTNA, nonresponsive by email at WCTNauto@yahoo.com) made a mistake when servicing my car. Hey, that's not the end of the world! Occasionally, even the best must clean up a mess. However, when a service provider fixes a problem (my car's back brakes), causes another (drains my battery because of poor handling of my car), then does not solve the second problem they caused, that is just Unacceptably BAD Service. Here's the whole story. Last year (2018), I needed a new alternator for my 2005 Saturn L300. I got a really good deal from WCTNA, and the alternator still works fine. So, when my brakes needed attention, I gladly drove ten minutes past many other Mechanic Shops back to WCTNA. Again, they replaced my brakes at a good price, and I found later that they work fine. I picked up the key and walked out to my car. Surprisingly and sadly, my car's battery had been drained! Somehow, while WCTNA had my car, they had forgotten to check the vehicle's electrical system. Was the interior dome light left on? Were the headlights shining? I don't know, but my car wouldn't start. Again, this mistake alone would not keep me from returning. However, that all changed when WCTNA didn't clean up the mess they made. Instead of admitting that their poor stwardship of my vehicle led to damaging my battery, they failed by only offering to "jump" (recharge) the car's battery. Then, after hearing my concern, they... failed. They did not offer a lower price for a replacement battery. They did not even respond to my communication by email. Wait, actually, when I called back, their receptionist let me know -- "The boss says your battery was on its last leg anyway," so they suggested I buy a full new battery AND pay full price for installation. WOW, WCTNA. You made no effort to find a middle ground: no offer of a discount on my (yes, a couple years old) battery (but certainly good enough to jump my car every day without problem). You could have offered to pay for installation. Yet, you did nothing but tell me your mistake deserved no restitution to me. So, to Anne Arundel County residents, take my advice. Don't waste your money or time with WCTNA. Who knows? Maybe they will see this message. Maybe they will earn another opportunity to serve me better. In the meantime, I certainly will find some other mechanic in Crofton, Gambrills, or Bowie to help me. There are many Car Service Providers near me, so I will check their online reviews before using them!
