Matcha? SMACK. Turkey sandwiches? SMACK. Pastries? BIG SMACK. Customer service? SMACK. The pico de gallo special? EXTRA SMACK. The owner? DOPE AF. Their support for the community? SMACK, SMACK, SMACK. A great place to play checkers with my fiancé? ABSOLUTELY SMACK. At this point, I'm not even sure if I'm a customer or part of the furniture. I genuinely can't say enough good things about this place. The food, the drinks, the people, the energy--it's all just GOOD. You can tell they actually care about their customers and their community, and that makes a huge difference. 10/10. Would recommend. Will absolutely be back next Saturday... and probably before then.

The latte art was…read moreclean, the milk was initially well integrated, and the drink started with decent body and texture. The biggest issue was temperature. It was served hotter than a Gibraltar should be, which made it difficult to pick up the coffee's sweetness and flavor nuances early on. The heat overpowered the cup and muted much of what the coffee had to offer. As the drink cooled, more character started to come through, but the body and texture began to thin out through the middle of the cup. The drink became noticeably more watery and didn't retain its crema and microfoam particularly well, causing it to lose some of the structure and richness it had when first served. Overall, a Solid Gibraltar with good fundamentals and a nice presentation.

Got the Dubai choco einspänner and the peanut butter einspänner: the former was tasty enough, although I didn't quite get the Dubai chocolate vision it was going for: while the pistachio cream was spot-on, I think there wasn't enough chocolate to separate it from the coffee base, and I mostly just tasted coffee. Not bad, but not quite what I was expecting. However, the peanut butter einspänner was fantastic: it was like drinking liquified peanut butter! There was also a roasted flavor profile to it, which created complexity in the drink. Also found the peanut crumbs on top a lovely touch. Overall, I'd go to Coffee Signal for the peanut einspänner alone!

Personally, the strawberry matcha was too sweet. Maybe it was on me for forgetting to ask how sweet it is and adjusting accordingly. My friend devoured her bagel sandwich and cherry blossom latte though before we even left so I would say she enjoyed her order. I think I'd come back to try coffee instead next time. + The interior was cute, we got some photos in there.

I tried their banana cloud latte and paired with a chocolate chip cookie. Both were delicious! The latte itself was very well balanced with sweetness, and the cookie was soft and very chocolatey. Additionally, the service was the most welcoming, but the coffee was delicious, so it balances out.

They offered sandwiches, Cookies, some more sweets and options of drinks. I first knew the place from looking at someone posting it on Instagram talking about their cookies. Being a cookie addict, I obviously went and gave it a try. Unfortunately, they're out of the pistachio cookie so I ended up with the salted caramel Biscoff cheesecake cookie. It was a pretty huge one and served warm with melted salted caramel on top. The cookie was tad too cakey for me who preferred the gooey one, but I liked the creative idea having the combo of cookie and cheesecake. I got their salted caramel latte and I liked the housemade salted caramel syrup, also the price was reasonable for the size. Would recommend go for less sweet for best taste.

The strawberry bianco was exactly my 취향, rich yet very sweet! My brother and cousin both really enjoyed the peach iced tea, however, all three of us agreed that the matcha was too powdery and strong (like not the sweet matcha, but the earthy kind? It's not bad, but we were hoping for the sweet version). My mom, aunt, and uncle (who are very much more Korean than Americanized) all agreed the coffee was too 진해 We did have to wait quite a while to order and for our pastry&drinks, as there was only one employee working at the time. Not a complaint, just a notice in case anyone's in a rush and wanted to stop by Otherwise it's a very aesthetic cafe! Quiet, cozy, comfortable The wifi connection is EXTREMELY weak!
