First of all, Simon, the owner is amazingly patient, knows how to make recommendations when needed and does not push you into a decision you'll regret. 20 plus years ago he put in our new front doors and then a year later he installed 44 solid mahogany doors throughout our house. Every few years he comes back to prime, sand, restain, and touch up the front doors that get a lot of sun. This year he came back to also touch up all the 44 doors and give them a refreshing look. Quality of workmanship, quality of products he uses and recommends are top notch. Same service, commitment and focus on giving customers what they need is his hallmark. We're now on the process of using his company to do 44 windows around our home. Simon, correctional to check all work done to ensure it meets his high standards. Work is solid and clean. Trustworthy and runs his business and staff just the way a business should be- customer service oriented. Thank you Simon!

My boyfriend and I walked in with one set idea in our mind of what we wanted for our home doors. Simon took the time to educate us on why this would not look good and changed our thinking completely! We scheduled an appointment for Monday at 10:00 a.m. for him to come to my home to take measurements. After that, we planned to set another time to discuss the contract in detail. At 10:00 a.m. on Monday, the owner called to say he had something urgent to take care of and could not come, so we rescheduled for Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. However, on Tuesday, he never showed up--even after I waited until 5:00 p.m.He did not call, text, or provide any explanation for missing the appointment. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I strongly do not recommend this company due to their lack of responsibility and respect for customers' time.

So last year when my husband and I decided to add a second floor in our house we called Four Decades and were blown away with the results. Again this year, we called them again for a full remodel of our kitchen, work in our backyard and opening up a seperate entry to our basement and again they did an amazing job. I wanted to thank you guys again for making our home construction project such a great success.  This was our first big renovation in our home so there was a lot riding on it, and you and your team made it a real pleasure. You and your team handled each challenge extremely well, from the schedule, our demands, our expectations and the stress of us living in a house while being fully renovated. The most impressive thing to me was when your team came across a challenge, they always came to me with a viable solution.  From the start of the process to the finish, it went very smoothly. I was also impressed with the professionalism of the team and also pricing was fair and I must say well worth it with the quality of the results, specially the finishing. I highly recommend Four decades contracting inc. it was a pleasure working with not only Tim, but Kevin, Timmy, Mark, Carlos, Sam and Chris. A great Team. I look forward to working with you guys on future projects. Thank you.

I wanted to thank Jen so much for all of her help. The bathroom remodeling process was a bit stressful and you made everything seamless. My daughter and I visited the showroom and Jen helped us to find the hardware for the door that I had previously discussed with her on the phone. She and her coworker were so welcoming and sweet to my 2 year old. My daughter had a great time there. Jen has answered my millions of questions and really helped guide me with my low iron shower door. The measurement and installation crew were great. Since my door was custom, I was able to choose the height as well as the bypass doors. I also chose low iron glass since my daighter's bathroom has white tiles. Will be using them again for sure on our next bathroom. A bit pricey because of the low iron, but worth every penny (competitively priced). The shower door is high quality and we are really enjoying it. Will be back and highly recommend.

They covered the entire bathroom floor, and stairs leading to the bathroom with drop cloths. They carted the old door to the garage. My bathroom looks like NEW! It's over 25 years old! My husband is thrilled with it and he is very hard to please! I highly recommended the shower door for updating your existing bathrooms. They are outstanding! Thank you Mena, John & George! Think about that before you make silly explanations for your estimate. I rather use the company that made the door then pay more for a company that spends too much on aesthetics. I do hope others who read my review that are searching for a reasonable price that sometimes the manufacturer is less than independent companies that throw prices on a wall to see if it sticks!
