    If you're looking to purchase a door, either it be interior or exterior to "BEWARE" Do yourself a favor and stay away from his company. Jorge and his wife are dishonest and unprofessional. The work they performed in a high end custom home is shameful to say the least. This has been a complete DISASTER & once you see the photos with the details you can make your own judgment call before you ever hire this company! Ordered custom doors - interior (18) doors & (6) sets of double bifolds, including Mahogany wood double front doors for our a new construction build, our home. For the last (10) months it has been a complete and horrific NIGHTMARE which all began in January 2021 when the exterior double doors arrived with the wrong glass, frosted instead of bronze clear as our contract stated. After months of back and forth with the owner, the doors are finally installed but with several issues, their installers left a tack on the door (we have a video removing it when we found it) which scratched the casing when they closed the doors, the finish is completely unacceptable and has an uneven finish, blotched and uneven stains on an almost $10k Mahogany wood double door. The casings also have several issues, such as 3 different stain colors from the multiple times they took the casings in pieces instead of all together to refinish properly. The owner also attempted to defraud us by doing touch up paint with one of those cheap stain markers you buy at Home Depot. We are now entering December and STILL WAITING FOR A RESOLUTION TO THE FRONT DOORS not to mention the horrific situation with the interior doors. INTERIOR DOORS - 3.5 months this company has been attempting to install interior doors. 1) Doors were supposed to be black, the first (6) arrived reddish brown - espresso, not onyx black as our order calls for. The Owner has made all sorts of excuses why those doors arrived that color. Then the next set of doors arrived darker more into a black tone. You can imagine having red/brown and then others black doors, non matching colors throughout. Their contracted installers made an even bigger mess of things using the wrong finishing nails size 18 gauge, instead is using "finishing nails" which left massive holes on the casings at which they attempted to touch up with "gloss black" on a "matte black" finish, you can't even imagine the mess that created. After urging the owner to take responsibility for what was going on, which took multiple weeks, over 6 weeks they finally took all the casings off to refinish which caused damages to our brand new drywall now needing repair and repaint in serval areas. When the new finished casing arrived and were installed the doors that originally arrived red/brown were now with the black matte casings - you will see photos of black, brown, black, brown on the same door and one side all black. The frosted glass all the doors are all stained between glass layers, seems to be the glue used along with paint overspray within glass. When they prepared the doors to place hinges etc, they didn't realize the glass doors has one smooth side and one opaque side. Now we have some doors with the smooth finish in front and some backwards facing the inside of the rooms. They can't remove the paint overspray nor the glue as their contracted painter himself attempted to do last week and failed. When we noticed this issues we kept asking the installer by the name of "Erick" about it and he kept assuring us that at the end of the install, they clean all the doors and it would wipe off - well it clearly doesn't! This was a project over $30,000 job we currently owe a little over $7,000 and both Jorge and his wife have asked multiple times for more money, DESPITE the crap work and all the mess they have created. We failed building final inspection last week because the doors were not in fully installed including the closet doors. For months we kept informing Jorge that we needed to have all installed for final and he kept insisting the doors were not needed to pass inspection despite our many attempts to explain to him that it was necessary. I am going to let everyone know in all social media accounts, all web pages and anywhere I can about this deceitful company! As I see here on Yelp, the owners are quick to reply to all the bad reviews on this page, but don't be fooled by their dishonest replies. Take a look at the photos - they speak for themselves and speak the truth.

    Purchased our custom door a few months ago from Heide one of the owners. She talked us through the entire process. We were never oversold. We chose what we wanted. For us the results are amazing as our Jeld-Wen custom door with Balwin Hardware was installed the other day by Danny. I was advised that he would arrive between 8-8:30am and he arrived promptly at 8:15. He was meticulous and did a remarkable installation. Everything is perfect and I am a perfectionist so I assure you he is great. Thank you Heide and George for living up to your promises

    Uneven frame work. This seemed like a joke

    Do yourself a favor and pay attention to these reviews and photos! The process to order the doors was easy and they did arrive a little one 8 weeks which is reasonable HOWEVER, the installers simply don't know what they are doing. I paid about 7k for 6 interior doors and some closet casings and have nails sticking out of the frames, uneven finishing in several doors and the paint job is horrible! They showed up and tried rushing the work in one day and then they had the audacity to tell me that they didn't know when they could finish because they had "other work that needed to be done." I had to call the owner and demand them to finish my work before moving on. They basically rush through jobs to collect the next payment and since you pay upfront before installation they don't care how the work comes out. Bottom line their work is TRASH and charge you top dollar for it.

    You can clearly see how poorly the paint is. We did not ask for the color to be changed - just fix the shoddy work that was done.

    Let me start by saying I never give reviews but I felt I needed to share my experience with this company. To start with the sales rep, Maria, was very nice and easy to work with. We were even understanding when they could not get the glass insert due to supply chain delays; however, we placed our order in March 2021 and just had the door installed on April 8th, 2022. Yes that is not a typo it took over a year! Mind you we had paid half the price already while we waited. When the door was finally ready to be installed in January 2022 we made our final payment in cash or we would be charged a 3% up charge for using a credit card. The day of the install I noticed they drilled the holes for the lock on the wrong side and basically were installing the inside of the door on the outside and we had paid extra to have a special coating on the outside of the door to protect it from the elements. After some arguing back and forth, the owner trying to convince us to accept the door opening to the right instead of the left how we had ordered, etc. they agreed to take the door back, fix it, and give us a "quick turnaround". One month later in February, they show up with the door and it has white paint smeared on the bottom of the door- our door was a dark mahogany finish. After more talking with the owner he promised he would have it fixed and installed the following week. I had to keep calling to find out what was going on. I also asked several times to have the owner call me to which he never did - very unprofessional. He left his employees to apologize for his unprofessional behavior. Finally he agreed to have my door "made a priority" and would have it ready for final installation at the end of March. Well we were on vacation so that never happened. We finally had the door installed on April 8th, but only after my husband and I went to their office in person. So final thoughts - Buyer Beware, the customer service from this company is non existent and the owner is extremely unprofessional, but if you are in no rush and willing to part with your money while you wait on them - this is the door company for you. Lastly, if I could rate it negative stars I would. In response to the owner's post - I truly wish you would have been that quick with your response when I asked to speak with you. I don't know why you mention the paint selection or the lock since it truly didn't matter because the glass was NOT READY. My problems began after we approved the door. Just to be clear we went in person to the shop and clearly pointed out that someone had wrote facing front on the opaque side of the glass. This was discussed with your staff and we left there with full confidence that it was understood the clear glass faced the street and the opaque faced indoors. So don't make excuses for this. Then we never asked for the color to be changed we wanted it to be fixed - refer to the pictures. And yes your staff including the installer were superb but the error could have been easily solved had you taken responsibility. I stand by my review.

    I had a terrible experience with these people. Very unprofessional. My biggest complaint is the lack of customer service and paint quality. My door is the blue door they have in their collection of pictures, which the paint is already fading. It hasn't even been a year yet, this can't be possible. Extremely bad quality. Also, I had to constantly call in order to get some information about my door. When I made the order they gave me a time frame and when that time came they kept changing the day and not even answering my calls. Maria the lady that made the order and was the person I had to deal with has, had 0 communication skills, and is extremely unprofessional. MariAfter your payment, DO NOT expect them to do their job.

    My parents have worked tirelessly and sacrificed a lot for this project and this is what this company has done... If I had an option to select "zero" stars I would. My intention with this review is to inform anyone looking to purchase a door, either it be interior or exterior to "BE AWARE" the kind of work this company does and the irresponsibility and deceitful practice by the owners themselves which we have been dealing with this nightmare for over 10 months now. Both Jorge and his wife are fully aware of all that is going on and have the face to continue to ask for more money - despite the entire mess they have caused. Don't fall into their lies and deceit and definitely don't allow yourself to fall victim to them, DO NOT EVER HIRE this company. STAY AWAY! I will be providing a short version of events and uploading plenty of photos that we've documented through out the unbearable time dealing with the countless issues and how all these atrocious nightmares began. Dealing with the Owners, Jorge and his Wife has been a complete waste of time and it's been an unacceptable situation all around with them, yet despite multiple attempts to get them to correct all the massive issues, they are very quick to continue to ask for additional money while doors arrived wrong colors (2 different colors used), as well as with the glass inserts installed wrong - some have the frost shade to the outside of the door while others to the inside (a complete mess), damages also due to the glue within the glass, improperly finished doors, improper installation of casings not to mention the numerous damages to our walls due to their negligence installing, which now will require to be re-painted.

I guess there was only one other guy working on a Saturday who could answer any of my questions and he was occupied with another customer. No idea how long I would've been waiting there. I didn't have much time to waste. (Not their fault) My impression was that they weren't interested in doing business with me ‍ I started walking around the showroom and as I look at one kitchen the older gentleman tells me "that's Canadian" ... ok so I think to myself...not sure what that means...does that = better quality...was he telling me that because he thinks I can't afford it? I'm not sure. I wasn't given an other explanation as he walks away. Kitchens are big investments and I would've expected better customer service. Needless to say I didn't wait around to see how the rest of my experience would've been. I didn't have much time to waste. I can't comment on the pricing. Either way go check them out. It's a nice showroom by the Falls. Hopefully you have a better experience. They are one of the higher rated local kitchen and bath places. Reply to Jorge's comment (11-16-19): thank you Jorge for your follow up. At no time was there ever mention of the possibility of making an appointment. That would have been nice to know when I was told to wait for a designer. I am an understanding person but would like to be informed of the process. The gentleman at the front who handles walk-ins must have been attending a person over the phone (although he was not on the phone at the time of my walk-in). I would be glad to set up an appointment with you to see what YKB truly offers.

    update on my defective ice maker that this store refuses to fix or replace...I have called more…read morethan 10 times, I have sent 15 plus emails and have waited on the phone with uline representatives for hours....I have received no help. I offered to bring the unit back to the store myself and trust me as an old retired person that would have been no easy feat....they refused to take it.. Below is a picture of how the unit ices up after only 3 weeks...my salesman Eddy Perez has be zero help. Buyer beware

    We have done business with this local family-owned company many times over the years and always…read morehad a good experience. However, yesterday they provided advice above anything we have ever had an any appliance store. Our very expensive 5-6 year old GE Monogram Advantium microwave suddenly started "sparking." We called Scott Appliances for advice re service or replacement. Over the phone, David Scott said that the rack inside the appliance could be problematic and was not needed except when cooking multiple items. He suggested that we remove it to see if that had an effect. It turned out that the support bracket inside the unit was worn and reacting with the rack creating the spark. His knowledge of microwave issues solved the problem so instead of an expensive repair or a replacement in the $3-4,000 range we can continue to get many more years of service from this unit. Thank you David and Scott Appliances; needless to say we will continue to use you for all our appliance needs.

    We purchased a Thermador combination convection oven and speed oven. The speed oven stopped working…read moreafter only 1 day. They were not helpful in trying to fix this. They claimed they had no other unit to replace it with. Thermador gave me the run around first saying it would be fixed, then saying they didn't have the parts, then saying it would be replaced, then saying the unit was backordered for months. I have requested several times to return the unit and be refunded. This has not been resolved. Do not trust them. Shop elsewhere.

We contacted Calusa Glass to build our 10 ft tall glass door and they did a great job. Silvio sat down with us and really understood what my wife wanted and the look she was going for. He made recommendations that made the piece stand out even more than our original concept. Once he knew what we wanted, he drew it up, had a manufactured, and had his technicians come and install it. Every person who walks into our house comments on how wonderful the door looks and how much class it adds to the house. Then, in December 2023, we called on Calusa glass again to create a 72 inch diameter glass table topper for our wood dinner table. Again, Silvio, took the time to understand what look my wife wanted and delivered a great piece that has garnered only positive comments and will protect the wood beneath it for as long as we have the table. For custom glass, I would only recommend Silvio and Calusa Glass.

He lies a lot , makes inappropriate jokes, but 0 work done. We Made an order in july and paid fully, he promised job to be done in 2 months. Than we received lots of lies and in 3 months he asked more money since according to him labor got more expensive, regardless the contract we had. Unfortunately, i agreed because already had committed to him and waited so long, however in 3 more months after he apologized and says he cant do it at all , because none of his employees wants to work. He is a scam artistist and disgrace of his own company, very upset and definitely don't recommend anyone do business with him. It cost us lot of time and money to deal with him.
