I have no idea why others have have given Triton such low marks. Triton recently installed windows & doors in our house. This is an extremely reliable company with exceptional team headed by Alex & Nicole (owners). Nicole assisted with the product selection while Alex made sure all measurements are on point. My only reason for a 4 star rating was because my sliding glass door came with 2 handles which allows you to open them from either side. I have never seen that configuration and was not aware of that until installation day. If that would have been explained to me when I purchased it I would have opted for the one panel to be fixed / non-operable do day we placed the order. Honestly if it wasn't for that I would have given them 5 stars. On installation day when I noticed the double handle I brought it to the attention of the foreman who quickly notified Triton. I was assured that they would resolve the issue. Triton team is truly exception from start to finish. The installers which are part of Triton (not subcontracted) are professional and cautious when entering and installing the windows and doors. The installer are very clean and left the property all picked up. Thank you Triton it was a pleasure dealing with you. read more

I've been trying to get an estimate for two weeks, and no response. All they say is that they've "forwarded my window measurements to their quoting department (1 person), and they don't understand why they are taking so long." I was referred to Triton by a friend who has beautiful windows, but they have never contacted me back. I always have to call them, and it's the same runaround every time. Unfortunately, I recommend not wasting your time with Triton. I will continue looking for a business that provides estimates, calls customers back in a timely manner, and has their act together. read more

This project was possible through YGreene. After contacting countless companies near me, Triton was the cheapest. Their scheduling is a bit tight and have to be readily available to jump when they call. They are super busy yet accommodating. The process was a bit confusing but they where detailed and walked me through every step. On installation day, Alex, the General Manager showed up with 2 trucks and a crew aprox. of 6 or so. He was on top of his crew ENSURING that everything was perfect. He was very thorough and detailed on my concerns and questions. I HIGHLY recommend Triton for hurricane impact doors. I will be contacting them again in the future for other doors needed in our home. read more

what a terrible disappointment. We just had to replace all the impact double doors (3 sets and 7 impact windows that we did with this company just a few years ago. Horrible installation. Could not have passed inspection. They added 2x4's to fill in the space to use standard dimensions. On one of them they didn't even have the courtesy of using 1 6' 2x4 that would have cost maybe $5.00 . They put two left over pieces to fill in the hole. The handles/locks were horrible all corroded within 2 years. Windows super hard to open. Water leakage/mold from improper install. Yeah we basically pissed away our money. But you know.... There's Yelp and this will catch up with them. Cheaper is NOT better. read more

We had a relatively large job at our home and their customer service and communication was five stars at the beginning. However, their installers were not very professional; a very important part of the process. I know it's difficult to have good and reliable workers in the industry but they really need to keep an eye on their employees at this level. I brought it to the company's attention and nothing much changed. Towards the end, we just wanted them DONE & OUT OF OUR HOME! No follow-up communication at the end from the owners which would have shown good faith on their part. read more

Started with great quote and very convincing speech from one of the owners, then delays started, one of the sliding doors had the wrong measurement, at final installation one of the sliding doors screen was missing, weeks later they came to install it and almost didn't fit. First inspection didn't pass. After second inspection the opening around the windows and doors were closed horribly anti aesthetic, filled with just caulking and we realized that after a couple of month later when the caulking dried out and big openings started to show up. Water came in through the balcony's sliding door damaging the floor and had to hire an expert to sealed it who was in shock how this job was performed and passed inspection. Six months later water started coming in through a window in the second floor having as consequence a big leak in the garage, originally we thought the leak was coming from the roof but 2 roofing companies came to inspect and with a test they proved the leak was coming from the window. Horrible and expensive experience. Please be smart and avoid problem and save money. I already paid the experience for you!!!. read more

Do not spend your hard earned money using this Company. I had a terrible experience. The owner came out to give the estimate and seemed nice and professional. I placed my order and it was delayed. After finally getting an appointment for installation a team of "installers" were sent over. They did the install in one day. The job was a mess. They didn't take any care of attempting to do a clean job. The finishings of caulking and cement were sloppy. Most of the screens were bent from the way they shoved them into the windows. I notified the owner and I was told that I bent the screens and not the installers. The owner refused to come out and take a look at the terrible job his installers had done. He claimed they did a great job and quickly. After that disappointment the city inspector came out and noticed that the installers attached my expensive hurricane impact French doors to a piece of rotten wood. The installers never said anything to me. After failing the inspection I was faced with lots of hurdles to have the rotten wood replaced and to fit the requirements of the city. After several months of dealing with that issue we proceeded to have the install finished, so we thought. While having someone come out to repair the window sills that were broken by Triton installers I found that once again the installers attached my windows to rotten wood below without notifying me of the condition of the wood. The wood was so rotten that it crumbled in my hands. I am shocked that this is acceptable service to the owner of Triton and highly recommend no one use them if you are looking for honest workers and good quality. read more

This guy is really bad news. A few years ago he took an $8000 deposit and disappeared for NINE MONTHS without returning dozens of phone calls. (His secretary said she did not have his cell number. Right.) I seriously believed I had been robbed. He only showed up and installed the windows after I threatened to file a job abandonment complaint with the state. They gave me a very good price, not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, yet the quality of their work was exceptional. They installed the entire house in one day, cleaned up after themselves and even installed some wood moldings around the windows for me. Truly a professional operation. Thank goodness for Triton! I needed one PGT high impact, insulated vinyl window due to my loud neighbor's children who play music at night near my bedroom window. I went to one previous distributor before finding them. The staff here was kind enough to help me, they contacted PGT to confirm the window I requested was the correct model, they explained the features of the window (although I did my research already), and made me feel comfortable with the entire process. Their showroom is not cluttered and very modern. The girls were even kind enough to assist me with bringing the window to my vehicle! My husband is a contractor(different trade) so I am always on the look out for unreliable & unprofessional companies. This company is very professional. I have sent 3 emails and called 3 times in attempt to get a quote for replacing my windows. After a month of trying to get a hold of a representative to provide me a quote I am no longer going to pursue this company. A company that is not able to even provide you a courtesy call or response to inform you that they're too busy is not one I would like to do business with. I am 57 years old and have lived in Miami for 56 years. To be able to trust and have a pleasant experience with any contractor in Miami is almost impossible these days. Lots of promises and all a bunch of BS!!! I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Triton Windows. From my first visit at my home with Alex, to sitting with Nicole in their office and her explaining the entire process of the project and what I can expect to Barbara who brought everything together and was true to time and dates when all this was going to come together was an unbelievable experience happening right in front of my eyes. I never got mad, that's a first and I only had a front door installed. The installation is the most critical part of the experience. Because they have their own installers, everything went perfect. I had 4 men out to my home to install 1 door and all of them had their specific responsibility. Then before the job was complete, a supervisor came by to make sure everything was done according to plans and that I was happy with the door and install. When I had my other hurricane windows and doors installed, I used R & S Windows and Doors, Triton was not around then, my experience with them was terrible!!!! Their contractors to install left dents around my window frames from them trying to force the windows in place. Ladies and gentlemen, if you are installing hurricane impact windows and doors, do not trust anyone else in town but Triton Windows. You will not regret it!!! Triton has done three installations for me so far and I've very happy with them. I will definitely call them again. Last year I used them for a project in Coral Gables; they got the permit and provided the necessary drawings. They went before the Board of Architects and actually called me from there to tell me the Board had asked for a change and would that be ok with me - I said yes and it was okayed right then and there. No delays, no "we'll come back next time". My experience with Triton has been that after I sign a contract with them and before they order the windows, they go over to the project and check to make sure I've included every window. This last time they found I had missed one, and we added it on to the project. They also take care of the city inspections after the windows and doors are installed, and they send an employee over to wait for the inspector and address any issue the inspector might have. Another thing I like about them is that they always answer their phone and it's very easy to address any issues with them. And they went over the contract with me, item by item, and discussed it with me before I signed it, so there were no surprises. So yes, I would definitely call them for future installations. read more

We got off to a bad start trying to schedule the quote, but the company more than redeemed itself. My initial interaction was over the phone trying to arrange for a rep to measure and quote all new windows on a 3/2 house. Didn't go well. I was ready to write them off but they did finally come by for the estimate. And then the rep Alex was so sincere, that I let them bid the job. Their price was 10% below a competitors on the same exact window manufacturer, and 15% below Lowe's who spec'd a cheaper window. So I placed the order, dreading the 4-6 week fabrication estimate and 2-3 week install schedule beyond that. Alex asked if I would be flexible on the install date if they had an opening in their schedule. 3 WEEKS after placing the order, Alex called me and asked if I was OK with an install at the end of the week. Well, YEAH. Windows done. Look great. Best price on name brand windows (PGT) Not sure what was going on in the beginning, but the end result is what matters. read more
