Affordable Glass is my go to company for windows. This is my second time having them work at my home. They were on time and got the job done fast. The window upstairs is no longer is off the track. They replaced the track and I can finally open the window without fear that the thing will come crashing down on me. While Mike was here giving me an estimate, I asked if he fixed sliding glass doors. He said yes and quickly diagnosed the problem. They needed parts for one repair so we scheduled a time for today to do the repair. They arrived early and got both jobs done in an hour. The window and the sliding glass door now work perfectly. read more

In a place like South Florida which isn't necessarily known for its pinnacle of craftsmanship and customer service, Ernie and his team were responsive, prompt, and amazing to work with when a rock cracked our front windows. Not that I'm hoping for another cracked window, but I can't recommend them enough! read more

From quote, house visit to give an estimate, order the replacement impact glass, follow up to schedule time for installation and install took less than 2 weeks. Ernie and son were very professional, knew their trade and most of all very prompt and importantly cleaned up after their job. Definitely highly recommended. Thanks so much. Wishing you continued success. read more

I can't recommend this company enough. I was able to conveniently schedule my repair right here on Yelp. Ernesto and his son showed up on time and made short work (only 20 mins or so) of a repair for a shattered awning window. I assumed would it would take over an hour! They're both very friendly and personable too. Affordable price and outstanding service. These guys have a passion for what they do, and it shows! read more

Yesterday my tenant called on a Saturday afternoon. I was out with my wife and kids when the call came in. He had accidentally broken the large window next to the sliding glass door. I told him to sit tight and that I would make some calls. I checked with contractor friends, scoured the internet, Yelp, etc looking for help. Who could do this on a Saturday?? Most glass repair businesses were closed. The few that were open took the call, promised to call me back but then blew me off (two of these were 5 star companies...their review is next!). Next I called Affordable Glass & Door Repairs and Ernie answered. I told him what happened and he very methodically told me what to do. He was right there with me in my urgency trying to solve the problem on a Saturday late afternoon. I put him in touch with my tenant to make arrangements. Ernie drove over to the building and took measurements and then today, early on a Sunday morning, replaced this huge broken window. His price was very fair. And my tenant is happy. Everyone knows in Miami it's hard to find honest contractors. This company was honest, fairly priced, quick, and extremely professional. Hats off to Ernie. I know who to call any time I need windows replaced! I hope this review earns him more business. He deserves it!! read more

I needed a glass repair for my slide door ASAP and within an hour they were at my house ! Super reliable and very kind father & son duo!

I had to get the windows and sliding door repaired in my clients unit. I'm a realtor and often times I have to intervene when I work with foreign owners. I called countless repair shops and most didn't answer or returned my calls. If they called back they all declined saying the job is too small or I'm too far away. Ernie was very professional and came next day and repaired windows and changed all locks. Now both windows and sliding door works perfectly. I highly recommend affordable glass for window repairs!! read more

I talked Affordable Glass & Door on the evening of 2/16/22, based on their Yelp reviews, to repair 2 windows (1st: bottom glass re-attachment; 2nd: top privacy frosted glass replacement). Ernie & his son Aaron came the next morning on time. Ernie gave me a very good estimate. Then they came in the next day and finished the repairs in an hour. In their business card it states that they also repair screens, shower doors, store fronts and have emergency service. I highly recommend them; I see why they have excellent reviews. Thanks again! read more

Super happy with their service. Quickly set up an appointment to come by and give an estimate for replacing the glass of a hurricane impact window. I had been told by other companies the whole thing would need to be replaced and was quoted 2700 (!!!!) for one window. Ernie and team were able to replace just the glass for $395. What a difference! They showed up on time (not my experience with any other contractor in miami), followed up and communicated every step of the way, wore masks, cleaned up after themselves, a d did a great job. Would with mo doubt use their services again and would refer them to anyone. 10 stars if that was an option. read more

Ernie was great! I had a broken window pane in my dining room. He came out on time and on budget. He is local owned and was great making sure the job was to my liking as well as he found the frame loose and fixed that as well as lubing the mechanism to make sure it opened and closed like new. I would definately call him if you need anything to do with your glass or window/door repairs. We need more companies like Affordable Glass. read more

Entrance door to the building was busted due to a furniture company that was too rough with the door. I worked with Ernie, took pictures and explained to me what the problem could be.
