As if trying to do renovation is not stressful enough, this has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences we've dealt with.
The quality of these doors is extremely poor. They are made of MDF and wrapped, but the finishing is horrible. For doors that cost thousands of dollars, this level of workmanship is unacceptable. On top of that, the doors are excessively heavy and cannot even be properly installed without additional reinforcement, which should not be necessary for a quality product.
What made the situation worse is that these were custom doors. The company came out and measured the openings 3 separate times, yet the doors and frames still arrived in the wrong size. Instead of correcting the issue properly, the store sent someone into our apartment to cut and modify the doors on site. This resulted in further damage and poor finishing--essentially butchering doors that we paid a premium price for.
In addition to the quality issues, we never even received the full order. We have been trying for months to get a refund for the missing doors, but have only received empty promises like "we're busy" or "we'll take care of it," with no resolution.
At this point, we had no choice but to file a claim with our credit card company to try to recover our money. Also, being required to send the initial deposit via wire transfer should have been a major red flag.
This situation has caused unnecessary stress in our home. Between the poor quality, incorrect measurements, and lack of accountability, I strongly advise others not to do business with this company.
