I do not recommend this business. The owner Dave never once came to my home. He relied on me for measurements. I told him I didn't trust myself but he said it's a standard measure. And as u suspected the door was delivered to short for the opening leaving his installer to build a false trim. My walls were scratched and dented during delivery. Dave was made aware the install was on the 2nd floor. The door is an extremely heavy door made of 100% metal. I was shocked when Dave didn't show up for the installation. To date I never met Dave. The door handle was not installed properly. There are screws missing so the handle and back plate shifts every time you open and close the door. My husband and I called and texted several times but Dave never responds. I have never done business this way before. Dave was not easy to work with. I'm still waiting for a response to fix the handle. The door was installed months ago. I would never recommend Dave. He fell short from beginning to end. read more

I purchased double front doors and sliding doors for them. I also sent two other families there that bought double front doors. If I would've know how poor service would be I'd not send anyone and I'd not buy from these people. I called no less than 8 times to have someone come out and replace the rubber on the bottom of the door that has disintegrated and kept getting told they would send someone then excuses of them being in Florida on vacation. I wasn't asking to replace it for free either I told them I'd pay for the service but nothing. After doing some research on the brand of door I wanted which was an HMI door I contacted the manufacturer and they told me who around my area sold them and so based on that I called Doors and More to inquire about getting two new front doors. Dave answered his phone and immediately said he was right around the corner doing an install and could swing by after he was finished....and he did! now thats service! 2. From the get go Dave treated me with utmost respect where other contractors were rude and didn't want to hear my thoughts about what I wanted to do only what they wanted to do. Not only did Dave work within our budget, he took the time to hear my vision of what I wanted for the look of our home and spent quality time helping me to achieve my dreams and desires in order to see it to fruition. 3. A visit to their showroom is a must! Not only will you have the pleasure of meeting Frank who's quite the character himself and who you will love just as much as Dave, but you will see a lot of doors on display and catalogs that you can look through from all different manufactures, they have lots of glass option samples available and hard wear from knobs and locks and in all different finishes and styles right there in the showroom. They truly cover a multitude of peoples preferences! And if you start to feel overwhelmed no need to fear Frank calmly reels you in and guides and directs you until you're secure in your final decision. 4. Zero Pressure Tactics! Purchasing a new door is a huge decision financially and not once were we ever made to feel pressure in our negotiations whether if we were in the showroom, on the phone or during a home visit. 5. The day of installation Dave and Chris (the carpenter) came to our home and stayed the whole day until the job was complete. They were very respectful of our home from the inside to the outside. Not once did Dave ever leave the job site. They truly take pride in their business and their craft and it shows in how they do the job and how they treat their customers and clients. 6. After install you will text Dave and tell him how much you love your new doors and how beautiful they are! Trust me!! Our Doors have truly transformed our home! I live on a road that connects to our High School so when people drive by or are picking up their kids they are looking at them and I have had people comment to me how beautiful they are and asked where I got them. I hate to give my secret away but any business I can give to this family store I will! They deserve every bit of it! 7. First the not so great - Due to corona the lead time and installation scheduling was a little frustrating. In the current environment this can be expected. Now the great - The installers did a great job. I was not able to really inspect the work until the next day when the sun was out, when I did I was shocked. It is not often you see this level of detailed precision work. Measurements are exact, miter cuts perfect, silicon beads perfect, the attention to detail of the installers was really several levels above your standard workmanship. When complete they cleaned up everything, they left no trace. The quality of the iron door itself is great as well. The custom design is exactly as we provided. read more

Our door was installed only 1 year ago. It's a beautiful very expensive iron door. One month ago it stared to rust. We called Dave, sent pictures. No response, he does not return phone calls, hung up the phone when we finally got a hold of him, very rude. In the mean time the rust is getting bigger and worse. I was so excited to use this company because they were recommended. At first when Dave came he was super nice but never followed up with us we were very interested and super excited about getting our doors from doors and more. They were more expensive than a few other estimates we had received but we were willing to work with them but they honestly weren't willing to work with us . they said they would send us some pictures of what they had in stock .. they didn't have the courtesy to even send us a picture which was very disappointing. Wow! Where do I begin, David and his entire team are the pinnacle of customer service. Since the moment we spoke with David on the phone, he made us feel like the most important people to him. He offered to meet my wife and me the same day at his office since we just had a newborn and it was going to be difficult to find a good time to get out of the house. After showing us all his display doors which were stunning but they just didn't fir the character of our home, David could tell we were settling on something we didn't Love and suggested we go home and google doors/handles and send images directly to his personal cellphone. Easily enough after viewing our images, he had something drawn up for us in no time and we loved it. When the doors were finished being made, David sent us a picture and let us know when we could expect to have them put in. Once scheduled his team was punctual and worked incredibly hard to make sure the doors were installed and looked perfect. They really took their time and treated our home and doors as if they were their own. You could tell what pride they took in their workmanship by the attention to detail during the installation/sealing. The finished product as had us smiling ear to ear every morning when we come downstairs to when we pull up home after a long day of work. My wife and I feel as if we have a brand new house because of Doors & More. We can not thank the team enough. David made us feel like family and even named the design of our doors after our newest daughter, Summer. David is an amazing person who you will absolutely love to do business with. I had new doors installed from this company. 3 days after, they started oozing glue around the frame. 3 years and 6 repairs later, they still ooz glue. They now are hiding behind normal wear and tear. Its clearly a defect in workmanship. Buyer beware. read more

"Extremely" disappointed with the double doors we purchased three years ago. They are very drafty and the rubber insulation on the bottom of the door keeps ripping off on both sides. And get this, we can see day light out of the crack of the bottom of the doors. This is bullshit! They came out to repair it like on three different occasions but that should NOT happen. Thai is no wear and tear bull. They just are shit doors with shit stallation. They had to take the doors off the hinges in the freezing cold to try to repair the doors. We froze while they tried to fix the AGAIN. They were a little better for a little while but they they go right back to being the shitty doors they are. If I wanted a drafty door I would have kept my old ones. For $ 6,300.00 we paid we really got ripped off big time. we should have went with the pella company that was priced our at $4,300.00. Definitely never again with them. 11/11/17 Well Frank the only way to rectify the situation would be to refund our money OR replace the unit with a quality one at no cost to us ARE YOU WILLING to do that? ?? If you are then I might be able to change my review. As per your words satisfaction is your goal. You say the units are high quality, your installer 20y experience ya da ya da ya da All words the final product is most certainly NOT preforming as per your words. Horrible customer service from owner of this business. They claim to have "perfected the art of refinishing doors on site" however they ruined my doors and now it is going to cost me five times the amount to have them fixed. When we tried to contact the owner, he avoided our calls. At one point, he even admitted to not knowing how to fix them. Never reimbursed us our money nor called us back after many attempts to reach him from both us and the Better Business Bureau. We had a house built three years ago and have dealt with numerous businesses and contractors and Doors and More is the only business that we have ever had an issue with like this. This is the first time I have ever written a review about anything...I feel compelled to warn others so they don't have to deal with the same aggravation that we have.
