We would highly recommend Dura-Plex if you are in need of siding, windows, doors or front porch. During the planning phase of our project they spent a great deal of time with us explaining the differences between materials and style options. They provided a computerized mock up of our actual house so we could see how it would look upon completion. The owners and/or employees were at our home everyday as scheduled. They were professional and respectful. We could not have asked for better craftsmen on each phase of the project. We are extremely satisfied with Dura-Plex's informative assistance with the initial design, the building materials, and craftmanship. Cheaper, better , faster. These guys don't waste your time like Renewal by Andersen or other companies just to quote an egregious price. They will come, measure and quote in 20 minutes. Got 3 custom windows in less than 9 weeks. I had windows, siding, and and a slider installed many years ago. My screen slider has worn out and I needed a new one. I called in may and was told it would be ordered. Having not heard anything further I called again in June and was told the replacement was in order and not to worry. I followed up in July and was told they could not get replacement without measuring. I had thrown out old door since I was assured new screen door on order. Finally someone came to measure in august. Again no follow up I closed several more times and finally in September a repairman came to install a door which he could not make fit. Again no follow up from office. This level of customer service is unacceptable and I do not recommend this company. I still have no screen 6 months later. And most importantly this company does not seem to care read more

It's been a little over a year since Dura-Plex sold and installed windows / patio sliding doors on my mom's home to replace broken and old cracked windows so this review has the experience of a time test for accuracy. I went to the Dura-Plex showroom to check out the different replacement windows / doors that they offer and was greeted by a very personable receptionist and then Anthony who showed me the different types and grades that they offer. I picked out the products I wanted, made a date for a measure which was promptly kept, agreed to the reasonable priced contract and an install date was set. Products were installed in one full day and made a beautiful difference! A month later one of the casement type windows needed to be adjusted, no problem, Dura-Plex came right out and adjusted so all works well. Here a over a year later I am happy with the great office staff, products and overall experience that Dura-Plex has provided me. They always answer the phone and respond even after the work has been done! Can't ask for more than that!! read more

Just had an octagon window replaced in my utility room this morning. Installer came as scheduled and did a thorough and efficient job cutting away shingles to make way for the larger, square-crank-out window replacement. I recently needed 3 windows replaced. I had an excellent experience with this company. A day after I phoned, someone was here to measure, and after a few more weeks the windows were in. The install guys were great. I know for a window company that doing 3 windows is not a major job, but I was not treated any less than first rate. We hired Dura-Plex for new installation of a sliding glass door and window. The installation was great, the door is great, the finished product is outstanding.
