I previously consigned with a larger, national brand in the city and had multiple bad experiences, the culmination of which was them literally stealing a bag from me. That would NEVER happen here. Kelsey's combines high powered expertise and reach with small business personal touch. Items I drop off are meticulously tracked, and receipts/pricing is sent for my approval usually within minutes of me leaving. I've sold many designer bags, shoes and pieces of clothing with them and have never had issues with their pricing or payouts. I'm very knowledgeable of the market myself and we always see eye to eye on pricing. You can collect your balance at the beginning of each month and they'll have a check ready and waiting for you. Despite absolutely having the knowledge and ability to resell my pieces myself, I choose to work with them because it's such a great experience from beginning to end. Their payouts are at a higher percentage than what I have seen elsewhere, but even if they weren't - I'd still choose to consign with them. Russell, the store owner, was so helpful and jumped right up to help me pick two pairs of scrubs for my husband. The variety at the store was great with brands like Infinity, Grey's Anatomy, and Dickies. The pricing was average with tops and pants ranging around $30-$40 each. Based on Russell's recommendation, I got two of the popular brands (Infinity and Grey's Anatomy) so that they would be a little more wrinkle resistant. If I should need any more scrubs in the future I will certainly be back. There is something to be said about great customer service and Scrubs Etc knows how to set the example!

Yes, a lot of the items here were out of my price range and after seeing a $90 dress, I was thinking this would be a short trip. But you know what's awesome about JACTS? Sales! While there, they were having a $10 off $50, $20 off $100 sale. I think there was also an extra percentage off clearance items. I made my way to the clearance rack and saw some really cute stuff. And then I saw this awesome gray leather jacket. It was down from $80 to $50! For a good leather jacket, I was totally willing to pay that. I tried it on and fell in love. While I was staring at myself in the mirror, my bestie found a cute, regular priced dress. It was $80, which made her hesitant about trying it on, but she decided to give it a shot. It fit her perfectly. I have a dress that has a similar cut, but it makes me look hippy. This was definitely made better and fit her like a glove. She was really on the fence about it and was thinking about what to do when I made my way up to the counter to buy my jacket. The wonderful employee told us that we could combine our purchase and get the $20 off, but pay separately, and we could split the $20 however we wanted. I was already going to get a discount on my jacket and I knew my friend really liked the dress and because it fit her so freaking well, I decided she could have the entire $20 discount. The woman thought that was like the nicest thing ever, so she gave me an additional discount on my jacket for being so damn nice. Yay! Being nice pays! My friend and I left very happy with our purchases. I was teetering on this review being 4 or 5 stars mainly because of the price, but I'm going with 5 starts because of one main reason: customer service. Not because of the awesome discount, but because of the attention we received while there. While we were trying on our clothes, the employees were giving us their opinions and why something worked or didn't. Another woman was there trying something on and they were honest with her about the item she was trying on and offered suggestions to what may work better. I love that kind of customer service. They're not trying to make a sale; they're working with you to make you look your best. I wish every store could do that. I wish I had more money, but I know I'll definitely be back to JACTS. Such cute stuff!
