I had such a pleasant experience at Scrubs Etc today! I came in to purchase some scrubs for my husband who is a medical student and was overwhelmed with the many options they have. Russell, the store owner, was so helpful and jumped right up to help me pick two pairs of scrubs for my husband. The variety at the store was great with brands like Infinity, Grey's Anatomy, and Dickies. The pricing was average with tops and pants ranging around $30-$40 each. Based on Russell's recommendation, I got two of the popular brands (Infinity and Grey's Anatomy) so that they would be a little more wrinkle resistant. If I should need any more scrubs in the future I will certainly be back. There is something to be said about great customer service and Scrubs Etc knows how to set the example! read more

UPDATE: now the owners are removing my ratings from all platforms. I still have not received any messages back from the owners nor received a text message about my purchase being complete. The phones are still not being answered and the voicemail is still full. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I used to buy scrubs from their Naperville location and loved the store. I bought a white coat for embroidery almost 1 month ago. I was told I would receive a text message when my order was complete however, there has been no word. I've tried calling with no answer and the mailbox full. I'm really disappointed with the service and likely will not do business with them again. read more

I purchased some scrubs from this store and ordered some additional scrubs . They gave me the impression that this would be a back order. So I was patience. When I didn't hear from them I called and their was a message about staff contracting Covid. I assumed it was a more serious case and I again was patient. I left a message and gave them a little more time. Now I still have not received any updates and from reading some of the other complaints, it looks like I won't receive my order. They took time placing my order. If they placed my order from their supplier and I paid for it, I should have my order. I wonder if the order was even placed or if they were going through the motions. If you pay for a service and someone takes your money and doesn't provide that service that's stealing to me. read more

Placed an order for scrubs the 1st week in January after that they put sign up saying they were closed due to Covid. All calls were going to a cell phone in which the mailbox stayed full. I drove by the store, and there was no sign saying they were closed for business. I was told that they shut down, and recently reopened today with a new owner. No one called me to tell me anything after taking my money, and then they tell me to disputed with bank to get a refund. This place is a scam! I will be reporting them to the better business bureau! ..and if I could have given them 0 stars I would have. read more

I just bought my first pair here today since we have a shortage at my job. They are really friendly and well organized. There is also a clearance rack in which I will check out when I come back. I'm glad they are open during this pandemic. Thank you once again! read more

Kinda pricey but they have very high quality scrubs, really nice and helpful staff also!!

Company doesn't exist anymore. They've taken my friends items that she was getting embroidered and never returned, along with money spent to get a new items stitched. Was told to claim her money back via their bank! Scammers!!! BEWARE EVERYONE!!! read more

I went into the store looking for scrubs. I could not have been greeted by nicer people that work there! They immediately asked how they can help me. They gave me great info and told me to take my time and and if I had any more questions to just ask. I looked for awhile, picked out some scrubs and then went to try them on. I found some that fit great. They told me that if I needed anymore that they could order whatever I needed. They thanked me for coming in and told me they appreciate my business. I will go back when I need more and I will highly recommend this store to everyone that has a need for anything they sell. It was a great experience!! read more

I needed to get some scrubs for school. This was one of the two places that my school would only let us purchase from so I hopped into my car and took a ride. Scrubs Etc is located in the corner of the plaza right next to Outback Steakhouse. They have such a huge selection for both men and women in varies of both size, color, and type. I was little lost figuring out what scrubs I needed but an employee name Russell kindly helped me. He was familiar with my University and knew exactly what I need. He helped me with selecting my scrubs and lab coat. He aas so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back here to purchase items in the future! read more

Scrubs Etc has moved to a new (huge) location in Villa Park and everyone is so much happier for it! The staff is super pleasant, the selection is even better than it was before, the fitting rooms are spacious and there are frequent sales & specials that make the prices almost impossible to beat, especially given the quality brands (Cherokee, Grey's Anatomy, Dickie's, Wink, etc...) that they tend to carry. They are able to cater to almost any size - from petite to plus size and everything in between and can even special order if they don't have a particular color or size in stock. I have always, from day one, recommended this place to every medical professional I know but now that they have a bigger, brighter location with better parking and hours, I feel even more confident in recommending them to anyone looking for quality scrubs and medical accessories. They carry a fine selection of stethoscopes (including Littman), lanyards, badge protectors, shoes, pens and medical scissors plus more items that I'm blanking on at the moment. One last tip - if you like them on Facebook or sign up for the mailing list in store, you will get automatically updated on when a sale is happening as well as any giveaways they may be offering. read more

So I came here because COD told me they give students 25% off. They were sold out of nearly any size I needed which made sense because it was about a month before school started. The lady was kind enough to place an order for the items I needed but she literally told me there is no where else to buy scrubs in the area. Now I realize that I could have gone to Sears, Walmart, or even COD bookstore. Just thought it was kind of crappy to lie to a student who's trying to save money. By the way scrubs were cheaper at the other stores. I will say they have a larger selection. read more

I absolutely love that this place has what I am looking for when I walk in. I have been to several other places that did not have what I wanted and I ended up ordering it. That is very inconvenient. The workers here are very nice and know where everything is in the store and can take you right to what you are looking for. I will continue shopping here for al of my scrubs. read more

I am baffled at their service. My nursing program sources their embroidered scrubs from this store. Many of us ordered scrubs through them, and come to find that the store has permanently closed down. You would think that they would have a warning/notice for people who paid for their products (No, not a google "permanently closed" flag on their address. I mean like a text/email/phone call)? A huge chunk of us are without scrubs, and had to get $$ back through credit card/debit card vendors. Horrible. I hope management reassesses and does better before reopening. read more

This company is a fraud. I ordered scrubs back in December 2021 and the owner stole my money claiming that he would order the scrubs I need and then he never fulfilled my order. Come January 2022 they stopped taking phone calls, locked their store front doors so that no customer could come in and confront them. Started claiming to have Covid but promptly went out of business the same day as claiming to have Covid and filed for bankruptcy. Now I heard that these crooks stopped placing orders for people back in November 2021 but continued to steal all their customers money. Shame on this company and the people who owned it. They need to give back the money of everyone they stole from. read more

I ordered scrubs Dec 8th and was told I'd get a text when they were ready, well I called 3 weeks later because I haven't received a text, they said they were having issues with FedEx, so let's move forward to today 2 months later and I have been unable to reach them! I've tried emailing, calling ect. I spent $75 on scrubs there!!!!!! What is going on. They used to be my favorite store. read more

I visited the old location a few times, but I haven't needed anything new for a while so finally just made it to the new location. I needed new shoes, and I'd only ever bought scrubs from the store before, so wasn't even sure what kind of selection they had. My friend needed a new pair as well and she really wanted to try the Geneva area, so we tried a variety of places without any luck. Coincidentally shortly after I got home, I received an email coupon from Scrubs Etc. After seeing the very limited selection of shoes at the first scrub store we tried (in St. Charles), I wasn't too optimistic, but definitely wanted to at least try. I felt like there was a decent variety of prices and styles to choose from. I'm sure I'm missing some, but I remember they had various styles in Anywear, Dansko, Klogs, and Akesso. (Alegria's seemingly outdated retail locator says they have merchandise at the old Lombard location, but didn't see any Alegria on hand.) The owner was very knowledgeable about the fit and shape of shoes, and very helpful. The Klogs worked great for my feet. The new location is really nice and roomy. I already thought they had a nice selection, but definitely lots more goodies now. I've always thought the people working there were super nice and friendly, and this time was no exception. I'll definitely be back when I need scrubs again, and know which stop to make first next time I need shoes. read more

I was in need of a red scrubs and I have been looking everywhere even online. Shoutout to my niece for telling me about this awesome store. Also, I wished that I knew of this place beforehand. Anyways, this store is great! It's clean and organize. They have so much selections of scrubs and the employees was friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Angie! Thanks for all your help and feedback. read more

I have been goimg to Scrubs Etc since it was on Main Street in Lombard. I have been in the dental field for over 20 years and basically live in scrubs. I have received nothing but quality service from Russ, his wife, and other staff. Regardless of how busy their store is they always take time to check sizes, colors, amd/or stock with their undivided attention. Thanks again for your quality customer service read more

Very helpful! The workers knew every color, material, and style they had. The discount for healthcare workers is great also!

I needed to get new scrubs for work. I drove about 20 minutes to this place because I heard great things about it. I had such a great experience! The woman working was very attentive and had awesome suggestions. She was also willing to order scrubs for me if my size was unavailable and gave me a 20% off discount! Highly recommend this place for all your scrubs needs! read more

I love this store. It's well organized and clean. The owner was very attentive and actually helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Plus, with where I work and my profession I got a great discount. I still need a few more things and I'll definitely be back here to buy them. read more

The owner was very rude to me. I don't know if he had a bad day but unfortunately the treatment I received when I came to this store made me regret driving here. Just read the owner's response below to someone who also had a bad experience here. He blames the customer for the staff's own incompetency on how to properly run a store. There are so many other scrub stores that offer excellent customer service. Like I mentioned before- maybe he had a bad day, but not all of us (especially in the medical field) have the privilege to be rude to someone when we aren't in a good mood. Will not recommend to any of my friends/coworkers in the future. read more

I stopped in to purchase scrubs for the first time. The ladies that work here are fabulous! They offered suggestions on different brands and how they fit. They personally showed me around the store and saw to my needs. I would definitely recommend this store if you need scrubs. read more

The customer service was less than mediocre. The owner of the establishment had poor social skills which was demonstrate by the lack of respect that she treated her employees with. After a minor mistake committed by an employee the manager went into a rampage fit yelling and insulting her employee without any consent of her surroundings or my 7 yr old child. Upon entering the store the atmosphere was frigid with no greeting or friendly smile. Needless to say if you are looking for an establishment with rude customer service and poor management you have come to the right place. read more

This Scrubs Etc is my savior. Let me tell you why... I just started a new job in a big hospital near me. The thing is, my supervisor did not tell me what color of scrubs to wear for the orientation until the day was over and my orientation on the floor is the next day. Panicking, I searched for a scrub shop near me and I found this location on Yelp. The next day, bright and early, I waited for the shop to open (I had to be at work within the next hour.) I don't know if he was the owner, but he opened the shop on time. As I went inside, I was in awe. They had a wide selection of scrubs and the shop is big, very neat, and smelled really clean. Also as I looked around they also had sthetoscopes, scissors, shoes... you get the idea. Anyway he was very helpful and showed me where to find the scrubs I needed. I fitted the scrubs and paid for them (I think the shop has three fitting rooms.) I did tell him that I only need a pair bagged since I need to wear the other pair. Frankly, I think he sensed that it was my first time wearing scrubs fresh from the shop to work so he said in a comforting voice to not worry about it because I am not the first nurse who walked out of the shop wearing unwashed scrubs. This made me really happy. I also received discount for being employed to my current hospital which was very nice. I will definitely come back to this location when I need more scrubs or if I haven't washed any. read more

Been coming to this business for years, and the new location is great. Tons of inventory to browse through. Normally I had to order and wait for my shipment but everything I wanted was in store and able to take it home today. Very helpful staff, I was in and out in 5 minutes today. Holidays they email coupons too. read more

This is my go-to store for scrubs! I've been buying my scrubs here since I started nursing school in 2013. They have a huge selection and are so helpful and nice. When they do not have a size or color in stock they have ordered it to the store without any trouble. read more

This place has the worst customer service. I called to check the status of an order I placed, they never answered the phone. I left a message and no one got back to me so I tried calling again. And still no answer, I just kept calling until they answered to which the girl told me "I have a line of customers and I can't have the phone ringing". Well then answer the phone! There is no excuse for not answering the phone or refusing to answer a question because there are customers inside the store. That's ridiculous, that's not how a business works nor how it should be run. Do yourself a favor find whatever uniform you need and buy it on amazon. Hassle-free, rude free and delivered to your door. read more

Amazing store and staff. I came here with my daughter for her scrubs and shoes. And from the time we got there to the time we left nothing but positive and amazing customer service. The store is extremely organized by brand and size. And a large variety for every shape and size and color and brand which is nice it makes it so easy to shop. The fitting rooms are spacious and kept clean. And there's several of them so you don't wait long if there busy. The staff are always friendly and outgoing and ready to assist you with anything you need. And most importantly there prices are amazing and if there is a discount or anyway they can help you save money they go out of there way to do so. Which is very much appreciated. My daughter called because she forgot to get her school embroidered on her scrubs and the girl on the phone told her that the way it was wrung up was not right if she used a different discount that she could've saved 7 more dollars. But since the embroidery was 7 dollars it was even. but the fact that she went out of her way to let us know was very appreciated and valued and lets me know i made the correct choice by shopping here. The only place we will buy our medical uniforms in the future. I will HAPPILY patronize this store. They have a amazing staff who work hard to make your situation is smooth and easy. Thank you. Even though i was with my daughter i was waiting for her to shop and try stuff on and consult with the staff and the whole time the staff made sure I was ok and comfortable and if i needed anything which was nice. Great customer service skills. We been here 3 times and always had a positive experience. read more

Horrible customer service. I was there with my 1 year old daughter trying on scrubs. I left the scrubs in the fitting room bc thats what the Sign in the fitting room says to do! When I walked out I was left literally in the dark!! They purposely shut off all the lights while I was in the store with my daughter looking around!!!! They didnt make an announcement to state they would be closing in 10 mins, 5min, etc. The worst part of it was the adult that was managing the place didnt even apologize when i said " that was very rude of you and you could've politely said you would be closing when I walked in 15 mins ago" their website says 8pm and the door says 7pm...idiots!! They scared my daughter. read more

After visiting every scrub store in the area with no success, and encountering some very unhelpful employees, I decided to call Scrubs, Etc. to see if they carried what I was looking for. Ryan answered and was very helpful, saying they did. Angie was one of the best salespeople I've encountered. Very knowledgeable about her merchandise, right down to how each brand and style fits each customer's body type. She helped me find the most flattering and comfortable styles for me. She provided many options to choose from and even described the ease of laundry care for them. She offered to order items that weren't readily in stock in my size or in the color I needed, and is shipping them to my home. If you don't live close to this store and need scrubs, shoes, accessories, find the time to take a ride there. I'm so happy I did, and I'm certain I'll be going back for all my future purchases. Thanks again Angie!!! read more
