I've shopped at almost every boutique around the Chicagoland area and none compare to the service that Eman has given. I've been shopping here for the past 4 years and each time, she goes above and beyond. I am never pressured into purchasing a dress and she always gives me her honest opinion. Not only that, when I procrastinate and need a dress in less than a week, she makes it happen! My most recent experience blew me away, I needed a dress in 8 days and Eman helped me make my choice, called the vendor multiple times to obtain details on the dress, somehow managed to get them to add additional length on the dress, in the color I wanted AND it arrived within 4 business days!! She kept me up to date on the status of the order. When the dress came in, she called multiple seamstresses to make sure I can alter my dress and have it ready in 1 day. If this isn't going ABOVE AND BEYOND for a customer, then I don't know what is. Elegant Couture treats you like family and not just a customer purchasing a dress. I am forever grateful to Eman and the team at Elegant Couture!

When we arrived, the only person in the store at that moment was busy with three women at the counter. She saw us walk in, but didn't acknowledge us, not even a simple "I'll be with you in a moment" or "Please give me a few minutes." We overlooked this because she was the only one working, and we understood she was attending to customers. However, what followed was humiliating. About five minutes later, the women she was helping left, and instead of addressing us, she chose to ignore us, arrange things on the counter, and then head to the back of the store without saying a single word. No "Excuse me" or "I'll be right with you." It felt like she thought that if she ignored us, we would just leave. Since we stayed because we wanted to see dresses, another five minutes passed before my sister had to go find her in the back. When she finally came out, instead of apologizing, she gave us attitude, and the very first thing she asked before even offering any help was, "What's your budget? So I can see if I have something," in an arrogant and dismissive tone. To this day, I don't understand why she was bothered by our presence or why she treated us that way. The moral of the story: give your business to those who treat you well. We ended up buying the dress at Peaches. I had to drive to the city, but the service we received there was outstanding--and, ironically, we were helped by young ladies, not by a woman over 40 who should know better. If I could give this place negative five stars, I would. My intention was to support a local business, but in the end, driving farther to the city was absolutely worth it for the professionalism and respect we received elsewhere.

Among these are Barbara's Books. However there's a lot of clothing stores for women. About all there is almost. There's places like Bath & Body Works and Topaz. It has a pretty nice outdoor area. There's a greenway with a fireplace and seating around it. Getting here by car is about the only way, and it makes for headaches. It sucks parking. There's never any open spaces in front of the stores, so you have to go far away to find these.
