At first I thought Boomer T's was great! I had been planning on making t shirts for a club that I run, and so I ordered just one shirt on the promise that they would reduce the price when I ordered additional shirts in bulk. They did not honor this agreement. In addition, I thought I was getting a great deal through their coupon book. White Shirts with a front and back design were just $11! This is actually extremely expensive, which you'll see in a little bit. The store clerk and I went back and forth about prices until I finally gave up and let her keep the $25 that I had paid for my sample shirt. Going back on the deal we made on our previous trip because we already received "too much of a discount" left a sour taste in my mouth. Then, it turns out that two people in my club forgot to order shirts. Grudgingly, I called Boomer T's. To my surprise, they quoted me for $33 dollars per shirt! Apparently she still held grudges against me, because "for two shirts, the price is not negotiable". Well, I still thought I was relatively lucky. $11 per shirt still felt like a good deal! But I still had to get those 2 shirts printed, and I was not going to pay the extra premium that the store clerk wanted me to pay. Imagine my surprise when I found one hour tees! They did both shirts for under $20, and the shirts were in much, much better quality! They could have easily done my entire order for about $50 less than what I paid for at boomer T's. Keep in mind that I am only ordering about a dozen shirts here. The final price per t-shirt? Just $9. This is cheaper than the cheapest that Boomer T's is willing to go, and that's after redeeming a coupon and heavy negotiation! If I went there now, they would have charged me $17 per shirt on an order of a dozen shirts. I do not understand how Boomer T's is still in buisiness. Just objectively, other stores are better in every way. I just know that I am upset, and disgusted at Boomer T's, and I wish I had not ordered shirts from them at all! read more

Awesome! Customer service was amazing. Needed to get a specialty item screen printed the same day during my lunch hour for my boyfriends birthday gift. I sent them a photo and they had the art ready by the time I got there with the pillow case. Everything was done within 20 min and they didn't charge me an arm and a leg for rush fees. I needed 4 tshirts made by the weekend, so I Googled places near me and I saw other reviewers talking about their orders with Boomer T's being done in hours or even a couple of days. So I called them and asked if they could do a small order (4 tshirts, basic lettering on the front of the shirt), and they confirmed it'd be no problem [though I admit I didn't specify a timeline before going]. So I drove over, started talking about the order (four tshirts selected from what was out in the store, basic text, all one color, etc.), and they said "they'll be ready in about 1-2 weeks." (WEEKS!!) I said, I actually need them this weekend [it was a Tuesday, about 10AM]; it's only 4 tshirts with basic text and I don't really care if they look fancy or the lettering doesn't last, is there no way they could be done in the next few days? (Keep in mind, there was no one in the store, it was nowhere near a holiday, and I could see machines from where I was standing, not being used. Two employees (that I could see) were in the (otherwise totally empty!) store just sitting at the counter; you'd think they could just throw 4 tshirts on the printer and be done, at some point, over the course of the next 3-4 days.) The employee would not budge, said there was absolutely no way they could be done that soon; it'd be 1-2 weeks "minimum." [And by her tone actually made me feel like I was completely insane for even thinking it'd be possible to print 4 tshirts without waiting "1-2 weeks minimum."] I just told them never mind and left. Side note: walked out to my car, Googled a few other places and, based off reviews, ended up contacting a place called Big Frog in Naperville who got the order done in less than 36 hours (would have been less but the tshirt color I ended up picking from them had to be ordered). I will never again even consider using Boomer T's. It's unimaginable that they could have employees sitting around doing nothing who refuse to take the 20-30 minutes to print a few words on 4 plain tshirts. read more

During the beginning stages of opening a new business, it's scary and overwhelming. We went to boomer ts in downers grove on a whim. It has proven to be one of the best business connections we've made!! We spoke to Ryan who helped us clean up our logo, gave us much needed information, and was very proffesional!!! Over the course of the last five months or so Ryan has helped us, with logo embroidery on fleeces/jackets/vests, screen printing uniforms, and business cards. He is always pleasant, easy to talk to, and eager to help!!! In a time where face to face interaction and customer service is far and few between it is so refreshing to work with someone like Ryan!! The store is clean, the work is quality, with great interpersonal customer service skills. Ryan and his associate Tony have earned and will keep our business.
