Great place for socializing, drinks, and food! Came here with a large group of people and we all enjoyed our time. The service was great and served all of us quite well. Everyone's drinks looked good, and mine tasted great! I got an Old Fashioned. Very well balanced. If you come here you have to get the spareribs! I got the spareribs and they were amazing, I wish I could of had more!!! I also enjoyed my sides of coleslaw and fries which come with the spareribs. For dessert we tried the crème brûlée and it was amazing!!! A hard top with a creamy filling, it was to die for. I had the chicken and ribs dinner that came with coleslaw and fries. I cut into the rib and found it to be really dry, the bbq sauce was a tad too spicy for me. I then cut into the thigh and that was so dry that I had to spit the bite out or risk choking. Our server Ashley was friendly and helpful, the coleslaw and fries were really good. I sent my dinner back and instead got a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup which was quite salty and I didn't finish. The ambiance is beautiful and the wood fired rotisserie chickens are a spectacular focal point. The service was good. For the serving size, I found the price too high. Further, the meat (rotisserie chicken) that was added to my pasta dish was extremely skimpy. I think I got two bites of chicken, and the rest of the dish was inexpensive pasta. The drinks were expensive and overloaded with ice. Overall, the meal was OK, but we were trying to celebrate a milestone and wanted to splurge. We left feeling disappointed. The first time we came just after valentines for dinner it was a wait but everything was spot on. Today I went for lunch with my mother and aunt and it was kind of disappointing. The fries were dry the rotisserie chicken sandwiches were tasteless the cheeseburger was not good and even the blueberry mojitos, although the highlight of the lunch were not as good. The bar tender waited on us in our booth and his attitude came off as cocky short and for lack of a better word, ish. Went here for the first time after some friends recommended it. They said they tried it once before and it was delicious and the steaks were so good for a good price. Upon walking in you will see the wood fire with the chicken and wings roasting. It's cool to see, I'd say the vibes were warm and cozy. I felt like I was on a trip in the woods staying in a cabin. They serve Pepsi products, which I do not prefer but so be it. The guys ordered the wings, they're the largest wings I've seen. The flavor was more sweet than spicy. I would like some spice on them, but in reality I don't care for bone-in wings at all. The boys all loved them. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and added fontina cheese and a side Caesar salad. I forgot to photograph the salad, but it was ok. It was on the dry side with not much dressing and unfortunately the server never came by before we finished eating the salads. My bf also got a salad and agreed it was dry. He ordered the rotisserie bbq chicken, it was a good size portion. The bbq sauce is nice and has a good kick to it. All of the fries were overcooked and hard. The au jus for the prime rib was good, I do wish the prime rib wasn't cooked as much. It was pretty well done. My friends ordered the rib & chicken and a steak- they both liked their food. For the price, the food is good. It wouldn't be my first choice of restaurants to go back to. I loved the ambience of the place, and was happy to see that it lived up to my memory of visiting other Doolittles. If you're in the area I would recommend swinging by - it's good for a small group before a movie as well as a business lunch/happy hour! I am so excited that Yelp led me to this place! The food, the ambience, the wait staff: all amazing. Sure, the menu may be a bit limited, but the variety of options are all great. We had 4 people in my party with 2 of us ordering a meat entree and 2 ordering seafood. I cannot praise the Smoked Hanger Steak enough - the Smokey flavor and tender cut made the steak melt in my mouth. The spinach was delicious and the potatoes were not too spicy despite the horseradish addition. The duck and orzo was also so tender and filling! The fish tacos and Seafood Stew were also huge hits at our table. None of us had any complaints which was a huge win in my book.
