We were trying to branch out and try something new . This is in a small strip center right next to my main squeeze Chick-fil-A . It's a fairly small donut shop . There wasn't anything on the menu or at selection that was " unique" , I ordered 4 kolaches , 2 dozen donut holes & 1/2 a dozen donuts . The kolaches were decent and had a good amount of cheese- probably the highlight , donut holes were sub par , and donuts were about average . I decided to check this place out because I was coming to visit family. The reviews looked great so I thought I would try it out. I ordered regular kolaches, 2 jalapeno kolaches,1 bacon egg and cheese taco and glazed donuts. The jalapeno kolaches, first of all the sausage is so tiny and to much bread and I thought the sausage would have the jalapenos mixes in it. But No, it was just a slice of jalapeno. Not very well. We were in town for a wedding and decided to check out this mom-and-pop shop operated by a lovely couple. There are tables where you can sit and enjoy delicious kalaches, croissants sandwiches, or just very good donuts and coffee. The husband and wife that works there are soft spoken, polite, and very attentive to their customers. I recommend their jalapenos kalaches. The bread is soft and fluffy and the meat is tasty. Ask for it to be heated up and get yourself a nice cup of hot coffee to enjoy with it. This is type of family owned business you want in your neighborhood. This place always satisfies me! It's no Shipleys but it does the job. The donuts are warm and fresh. What I admire a lot about this place is the owner who's always working. She always greets me with a warm smile and after a few times she usually remembers you. She even gives you a few extra donut holes when you order donuts or donut holes. This is a true family owned donut shop. They have been here since I moved to Pearland, (i think) which is 12 years. It may be less, but the owner knows my whole family. Dad, mom, brother, uncle, and my boyfriend. Their donuts are awesome and the kolaches are the best! I wont even eat any commercial donut place.
