There is always only one person working there when we get in but never a crowd enough for there to be an issue. All the food is pre-made, warmed up for you when you order. Different types of donuts available but none are standouts. Pros: - donut holes: there are 3 types which I appreciate. Glazed, powdered, and sprinkle sugar. The texture is good, slight crisp/crunch which I prefer in a donut hole. - Apple fritters: these are huge and flavorful. One of my favorites in the area. - mini sausage kolaches: good sizing for little ones. Cons: - all the sandwiches, tacos, kolaches are premade so they aren't as fresh as made to order. - tacos are unimpressive, simply wet eggs with a hint of either bacon, sausage, or potatoes. I had two cinnamon rolls. They were very good especially one of them was chocolate. I don't see that very often and I really like it when I get those. I also ordered six of their smallest kolache's and they were very good too. The service was really nice and I had a monster. I think the total was like $12 so I was happy so I really recommend this place. read more

The food is good and the donuts are very soft to eat and the police watch pretty good and the and the service is awesome and the people there are nice and it looks very café style. What a place! Such a conveneint location for anyone traveling down 518 through East Pearland. I believe RIley's to be a father-son operation, as the son is usually typically slanging donuts behind the counter while his dad is busting ass in the kitchen stretching out dough(They both work extremely hard). I have never had a bad experience at Rileys and I have likely visited 15-20 times. The atmosphere is clean, simple, and sleek how I prefer. The younger gentleman aways asks politely if youd like your items reheated & with picante sauce- the small things go far with me. The prices are fair run of the mill donut shop prices I assume. Saw this new location open on Broadway, looked them up on Yelp and discovered they didn't have a page, thought I would create one. Pretty fancy for a donut shop, really nice tile floor. Seemed very clean and well kept. Great selection of donuts, kolaches and breakfast tacos. I got a blueberry cake donut and a sausage kolache and both were excellent. By far one of the best donut shops I've ever been to. We've been several times so I've tried a good variety of their food at this point. Regular type donuts (Plain glazed, chocolate iced, donut holes) as well as the cake donuts (plain, glazed, chocolate, old fashioned) are all perfect. Flavor on point & they all have that slightly crisp fresh out of the fryer crunch on the outside and the inside is soft and fluffy. The kolaches are awesome as well. Boudin is yummy with a croissant style breading. The traditional dough is used on the other kolaches and it's good as well. Do me a favor and skip the apple fritter & bbq kolache... those are the 2 items I wish I wouldn't have ever tried.. why you may ask? Bc AMAZING that's why & I'm not an early bird and they sell out before I get there most weekends. That apple fritter is hands down the best one I've ever had. I can't even get them anywhere else now because they don't measure up. And I love apple fritters. Always my go to. Well, was... That's my only complaint. They sell out of apple fritters... Every time I visit Pearland, Riley's Donuts is a must visit. The brisket kolaches and apple fritters are amazing, but honestly all those people are sleeping on the boudin kolaches. Those are absolutely incredible and even the mild ones have a great kick. You can't go wrong with anything. read more

Their kolaches are my favorite! They're kind of doughey in a good way? I've only ever gone to Shipleys or Kolache factory and Rileys is far superior! Only bad thing is that they are located just next door to Cloud 9 Foot Spa where I work at.....and I find myself going more often than I should!!! lol read more

I went last Sunday @ 5.00 a.m- I wanted fresh and Hot apple fritters- I am some what of a fritter connoisseur --- The lights were off when i arrived but the were turned on after a short wait. They had seven fritters in the display case, which i thought odd, why seven? If they were going to make fritters , Only make seven, and i know i was the first customer-- they looked like they had been in the case over night-- I asked when they were made and was told they were fresh. I pressed a bit and was told they were made at 2.30-3.00 a.m. so I bought them all. I asked what they had that was hot and was told the glaze or chocolate covered glazed would be ready in a few minutes, I bought 5 chocolate covered glazed to round out the dozen.they were hot and tasted good. The Fritters were the worst apple fritters i have ever bought, and that is saying a lot. They were hard and did not taste or look like they had only been in the case a couple hours. This is a family operation producing a wide variety of donuts, all of the 10 I have tried are wonderful - and really good kolaches, including their ham and cheese balls which are all great. They will warm your selection for you and provide picante sauce if asked. The dough is soft and has just a hint of sweetness making it my goto place in the morning.
