Donuts and kolaches are always fresh! Family owned, friendly service and always has a clean shop.

The from area was clean and the service was quick. They take cash but if you use a card, it has to be a $10 purchase. The glaze donut was very soft not to hot and fresh with the right amount of glaze covering the whole donut. The Kolache was buttery and soft with the sausage from end to end but the sausage itself was lacking in taste and texture. I would suggest a premium sausage and beef over a mix type of sausage. The Kolache bread requires a little more sweetness. The cinnamon roll was huge, moist throughout and not over glazed. I ate the cinnamon roll a little later than when I bought it and it was still good cold. I would return to the place for the tasty treats and to try other items. read more

I'm not a fan of sweets, but the kids love the donuts. I love their croissant sandwiches and other meaty bake goods. Quick and friendly service. Yeah they may not have all the razzle dazzle in their store front and presentation other places have, but the donuts, Apple fritter and Spicy Boudain Kolache I bought were the best in the area I've tried to far. I love this little gem. Everything made here is hearty and fresh. The croissant sandwiches are delicious. Large slices of bacon and the eggs are cooked just was you would cook at home. I love Billy's Donuts! It's my new favorite doughnut place for plain glazed donuts and their super delicious kolaches. Billy's is just your regular good old fashioned doughnut shop without all of the overly fancy "gourmet" doughnuts with all the wacky toppings. There is something about the sugary goodness of their plain glazed donuts, and you can easily tell the difference between theirs and others like Shipley's. Even if you happen to get a plain glazed that's been sitting for a while, it still tastes so fresh, but of course, they're awesome when their still warm, so you have to get there at just the right time, usually when they're busiest, so that you can always have a fresh and warm plain glazed doughnut. Their kolaches are unlike any i've ever had. The breading is so soft and moist. Whether you get the large or the regular sized kolaches, the bread is almost croissant-like. In their kolaches they also use smoked sausages, and one large is easily filling, especially paired with a plain glazed doughnut. Billy's is so good, i've even been able to convert die hard Shipley's dougnuts family members. Every time they come down to visit, now they bring back 2 dozen Billy's kolaches and doughnuts instead of Shipley's. Again, don't expect to find fancy wacky flavored doughnuts here. I have tried, and loved, their other doughnuts which are just as equally delicious, but see if you don't fall in love with their plain glazed and their kolaches. read more

I'm an Apple Fritter fan. Last year I decided to try every Doughnut shop from Shirley's at Old Alvin and Broadway, up Main (35) to three more stores along West Broadway from Main. Without a doubt Billy's had the best Apple Fritter in Pearland. read more

First timer...donuts were stale. The bread on the kolaches was good but the filling was not very good. We tried the brisket kolache, the Philly cheesesteak kolache, and the boudin kolache. Boudin was ok, as was the brisket, but the philly cheeseteak filling was gross. read more

Just went to Billy's for the 1st time, I got a sausage and cheese kolache and a cherry filled donut. The kolachee I was pretty good but that donut was absolutely outstanding. I will definitely have to come back to try more of their donuts read more

This is a must hit spot when I fly to Texas! The kolaches are delicious! The breading has that slight sweetness and the fillings are the perfect ratio to bread. I had the spicy boudin kolache this morning and it was possibly the best single item I've ate on this trip to Texas. read more
