The lady that works there, probably the owner as well, is really nice and accommodating. She was very nice to give me the option to call in next time I need a special order so I don't run out of it. Saw the five star reviews and had to stop by since I was in Pasadena. The place was clean and the staff was very courteous and friendly. They had brisket and boudin kolache. I also had to try the red velvet donuts. Add 2 glazed and a coffee, and I was all set. When I got home, we tried them. Excellent! They were better than my favorite place in Sugar Land. When you're in Pasadena, make sure that you stop by here. read more

I work around 10 minutes from this place and ANY TIME i'm early to work, I will ALWAYS stop here. number one spot for kolaches.

OK, since my last review of Snowflake Donuts, they have returned their name, Snowflake, instead of just going by Donuts. Great. They're easier to find now. LOL The staff still offer great, homemade donuts and breakfast pastries. They're kind, attentive and sometimes give you free donuts with your order. Oh my gosh!! This place is AMAZING!! The prices are fair, the service is above and beyond and the food!! Oh the food is so good! It all taste so fresh and there's something for everyone! Be sure to get there early though because they only make so much every day and once an item is sold out for the day it's gone for the day. On the flip side of that though if you go later in the day and they're trying to empty the shelves they sometimes surprise you with an extra donut on the house! Oh and don't forget the drinks! Some are make in house and some are nice and cold from the cooler they have. Definitely a wide variety of options. I will be going back here again in the future and telling all my friends to do that same! read more

I was a little worried for a donut shop opening in the area of both Shipley's and Dunkin Donuts, but this lovely small business is not the same as the others. We enjoyed the Sausage Kolache but can't wait to come back and try the Boudin & Chapelle options as well. Couldn't leave without trying the classic glazed. Loved the extra donut holes they thrown in just because. They have 3-4 seating areas inside and a line that moved quickly. I think this place will do great! They have excellent service & delicious options. We will be back! read more

Stopped by on a Saturday morning to try this place out, it's right down the street from me. Friendly service and low prices. I had glazed donuts, Bavarian cream, blueberry, and a large sausage jalapeño and cheese kolache. She gave me an extra glazed donut on the house. I was sold at that point. They were ALL delicious!!!! I was skeptical at first but this place was great. I went again for the second time today and got the Bavarian filled donut and gotta admit, it's better than shipleys. I also prefer their Kolache over shipleys because the bread is so much softer. If you ever get the chance, I recommend giving this place a shot. Snowflake Donuts has become a regular breakfast place for my family. They are a hair closer to our house (I say that with full knowledge of the Shipley's down the road from them), and they are pretty tasty. My daughters love this place because they have fun, iced donuts in a variety of colors. They ice them with bright icing, and then coat them with cereals and sprinkles. If this doesn't make kid love what does? Their doughnuts are good. They have the standard variety, and a couple of choices for doughnut holes, too. Is it the "best" doughnut? Not compared to their competitor down the road, but they are a good, solid doughnut. What makes Snowflake stand out is their kolache. They are pretty awesome. They sell a Chappell Hill kolache, which is exactly as awesome as it sounds. They also have mini-kolaches, which are my favorites, that are delicious. There's a variety of meaty, breakfast items like sandwiches and tacos, too. I'm not a big fan of their tacos, there's a flavor profile in them that I don't care for-they almost taste like they have ranch seasoning in them In a nutshell, it's a good place for doughnuts and kolaches. Orders 2 boxes and 2 bags of stuff from here to feed a group. I had no complaints. The breakfast biscuits were on buns made from donut bread, not biscuits. Unexpected but no complaints from the group. The eggs on the sandwiches are really thin. I doubt there was a whole egg per sandwich. The sausages in rolls were cut in half lengthwise. So they are "stretching" things. I don't remember prices exactly but I had 6 breakfast sandwiches, 6 sausages in rolls, a dozen mixed donuts. It was $20 so I felt it was good for the price. But if you prefer to pay more and have whole sausages and more egg, this may not be the place for you. Service wise they were very quick and friendly. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise! Looks like a basic donut place but definitely above average in quality. I had a maple bar donut and they filled if with cream on the spot! The maple icing was delicious and the bread had that slight buttery taste to it. The attendants were also friendly. Gotta say it was superior to something like Shipley's. Will definitely come back soon. FYI I didn't sample any of the food items but they offer biscuit and croissant sandwiches along with Kolaches and they all looked good. read more

I always pass this place up and today I decided to stop by and check it out. First of all the ladies in the front are so nice and so welcoming, now their donuts are so good so soft and fluffy. But what I like best is the croissants! They are just so delicious I wish I would have taken a picture but even a picture does no justice for its taste and they are actually pretty big. I like how they have a variety of stuff. I got two donuts a dozen half a dozen of mini kolaches, a croissant all for $8 and the lady still gave me a free donut. So not only is it good but the prices are awesome as well. read more

Such a friendly staff and very delicious donuts and kolaches. The apple fritters are amazing and the Chappell hill kolaches are the bomb! The young lady working there is a sweetheart. Always smiling and very friendly. We go there about twice a week. I designated every Friday as "Donut Hole Day" for my daughter and she loves it!
