Even joking to my friends as i drive up that I was about to go get the door slammed in my face again... At one point I just kept trying because it was a habit and the group is very important. But somehow this week I was able to make the impossible happen! Yay! Persistence paid off for once, rather then just wasting my precious energy and time like I have with so many other people/things. Lol! So to reward myself for the craziness of going from completely shut out to having near full access, even if it will still be a long road of doing my job..... I thought "ICE CREAM!!!" I have been here once before and it is such a cute idea. A little drive thru stand that isn't common place where I live. I drove up and spent $4 on a chocolate sundae. Great price and it was a good amount of ice cream. While not this crazy high quality type of thing, it was still really good and was decorated in such an old school happy way. Sometimes you have to celebrate the things you do well. Especially, if they are things that others might not totally understand or appreciate as a win. This is not a bad stop for such a mini celebration! Yay I am so excited and full of ice cream!!!!

It's the perfect place to fulfill your cravings whether its sweet, salty or both. My favorite is the Strawberry natural raspado with creme. My boyfriends favorite is the clamato cocktail and my daughters get hot cheetos and ice cream. I've also had the elote in a cup which is just okay. Stick with the raspados and cocktails! It's a small little building that you can drive thru or walk up to. But dont let the size of the building fool you because they have plenty of options and the service is pretty quick. I decided to pop into the local Grocery Outlet and have a looksie at what was on sale. Each one is locally owned so they tend to have different items. It makes it fun to go in and see what weird or interesting stuff you might find. Sometimes there are insane deals. Like 5 bags of snack cheese for $1! Yes I said it! Snack cheese for on the go yummy 5 bags for $1!!!! This GO is one of the better ones I've been to in terms of cleanliness and being orderly. They also had friendly staff which is a new thing for me. I can't get mad at my local GO's staff for being a bit rough, they have to throw out homeless people and drug addicts every single day. Anyway, the staff here were very nice and greeted me. They even asked if I liked the store and if it was my first time in it. They seemed to actually care! I wish I could have had more of that frozen food aisle but because I am working it was a no go. I did pick up a lot of Bang energy drinks for 99! Yay! At my local GO they were $1.99 so what a win! One of the flavors is "purple kiddles " which is cryptic and nonsensical to me...so I know I'm in for a treat! The beer selection didn't get my motor running but they had a sizable wine assortment. They also had the hard stuff but I didn't take the time for all that. My heart belongs to my Whistle Pig at the moment so... the heart wants what it wants! In all a fun way to spend a little time... that is if you're into deals and hunting around. Also if you're into weird products... just don't wait around... snap up what you want because like most things, it won't be waiting around forever! Personally, I like to leave my phone in the car and just take some me time without everyone calling me to just enjoy the inexpensive experience. My phone is always interrupting me during the day....nice to go have a break. The quality of their foods are so nice. I'll say their torta probably is one of the best I've ever had and it's only $6.49! I'll come back everyday if I live at here.
