So slow, been waiting here for about 30 mins in the drive thru. Building is in a really weird spot with an awkward drive thru u turn thing to get from the ordering window to the pickup window. I saw 2 cars hit the curb in front of me and I almost hit my window. I tried ordering on foot at first but they refused to serve walk-ups so I had to use the nightmare drive thru. I got the Mayan smoothie but it was just a banana chocolate milkshake and was super sweet. $18 for 2 drinks too felt like a ripoff read more

I don't know why Shake and Wake is getting bad reviews! I hope they never go out of business! I decided to try something new today and got the butty bowl (açaí bowl with peanut butter). OMG it's so good!!! I love that they're generous with the amount of açaí and toppings they give! the container barely closed! So fresh and yummy! Perfect for the hot weather! Of course it does melt quickly but that's to be expected when it's 109 outside. :) Nothing that cant be fixed by putting it back in the freezer for a little bit! Decided on an acai bowl for breakfast and this place popped up. Me and my boyfriend got two acai bowls and a powerberry smoothie. His smoothie came out first and I was pretty impressed. And at that point, I'm hype for the acai bowls. When we get them through the drive-thru, they looked great, but after seeing the color of the acai I already knew it wouldn't be quality acai. I was right. The acai is icy, watered down. So watered down that you could taste the ice chunks in it! The toppings and size of the acai bowl are good, but the content and quality was lacking for me. My husband and I discovered Shake and Wake in PB last week and have been twice already. The juices are so so good and fresh and my husband lovesss the OG smoothie with the mint. Our first time the girl walked outside to the plant and grabbed fresh mint, which was really cool to see. We've had great service each visit and already planning to go back and try more. Easiest 5 stars I've ever given. This place is truly a socal hidden gem. I travel back and forth from San Diego to Arizona fairly often and will skip meals to ensure that I'm hungry once I hit El Centro. Smoothies, sandwiches, salads, breakfast, lunch and dinner are all worth the 5 minute drive off I8. I'll keep it short and repeat what I told my wife this past week regarding the siniestro sandwich. "This place is on par with any restaurant we've been to in the world when it comes to layering flavors on one another. That first taste hits you, then the subtle ingredients and finally the aromas and tastes that linger once you're ready for another bite." I don't understand the bad reviews, I have had nothing but awesome customer service every single time! Most recently I went to get my usual, The Wilson, and I saw this guy training a new employee and I could tell the employee was nervous, but the person training her was super nice to her and was very professional and friendly with me at the first window. It's nice to see businesses hiring new employees, especially when unemployment is so high in our County. The very best açaí bowl I have ever had!!! So much so that I crave it all the time. I was hooked on their Dragon bowl made with fresh passion fruit but this açaí bowl....has got us going to Shake and Wake even twice a day on some days. They use all fresh ingredients and don't be fooled they serve more than just shakes and bowls (and no I don't work there but have to give credit where it's due). My daughter is vegan and this is her favorite spot whenever she is in town. read more

Very cute, little location. The turnaround is tight and funky. Nice employees. I was not a fan of their iced coffee, it was very bitter. Their smoothies and bowls are fantastic though! I really enjoy shake and wake but I recently had a bad experience. I was trying to place an order and before I could finish they closed the window, I then tried to add customizations and again before I could finish they would shut the window when I was still speaking. When I was finally given the items the cups weren't even full like they usually are. We love this location, however, they absolutely never have mushrooms for the "Siniestro" sandwiches. We are vegan and we love everything else that they have to offer. Tried the castaway smoothie after a work out today and I have to say it was super refreshing and delicious. I love the blend of pineapple, ginger, lime, banana and orange juice. It is sweet, but not too sweet and just the right amount of tanginess. The ginger gives it an unexpected but delightful taste. Definitely will go back and recommend to others. read more

The cup was half filled with foam and left with a couple of drinks of actual juice. I get that the juices are blended, and not pressed, but I would really appreciate that you strain the foam and give me the amount of juice that I purchased. Best smoothie shop in the valley! Would always come here with my boyfriend for the "americano bagelwich" and açaí bowls and they would never disappoint. There's not many places in the valley where you can get good quality healthier options, especially the açaí, you can literally see them making the sorbet from scratch with good quality ingredients.. no other places in the valley do that, most just have premade açaí ice cream which defeats the purpose of a healthier option. I really like this place but this is the second time where they got my order wrong and then got mad at me. Me, when I'm the one that should be mad at them. And when I got my açaí bowl after they "fixed it", there was no bananas in it, and that was super disappointing after spending $20 there. I got someone who messed up my order, then got mad at me because they heard me wrong which has happened twice by the same girl and tries to fight me on what I said when I know exactly what I said, and then when I got my order, it wasn't complete. It's good food but customer service there is pretty poor. I don't know how some of these people got hired honesty, they're very rude. I'm not gonna lie, their smoothies are good. I am not one to write bad reviews or be hard on the customer service, but this is a bit too much. The past few times I've come, the girl taking our order is always rushing us, even if there's no line. It seems that she does not enjoy being or working there. They have really nice staff, but this girl ruins it for the rest and gives a bad rep. They add huge amounts of sugar to the teas. To make it worse, they add it after they brew it and after it's cold, so it doesn't dissolve. On top of that, they fill it with ice to the rim. There is very little product to enjoy. There have been multiple times where I come at a reasonable time (way before noon) and they run out of things. I do understand when it's once every so often but it's become a habit now. I would understand if they don't have that certain item written on their menu, but they keep it up. I do not understand why they advertise things they cannot sell to us. The paninis are really good, but extremely overpriced. A 12 inch Picosito is 12$, not including the drink. There is no reason why it should be a dollar per inch. They used to offer their power hour, but they got rid of it. They should bring it back to make their menu more affordable, that way more people would buy from them. One last point is that the drive thru is very difficult to drive by. It's too narrow for cars to properly drive through without having to back up and straighten themselves. I used to be a regular, but these little things do add up and make a difference. I hope they take this review into consideration and improve! read more
