This place is unassuming and off modest, so I thought what can go wrong with donuts and tacos?…read moreAbsolutely nothing, this place is cravable in the best way! The cashier recommended the mahi-mahi and the chicken tacos. Both exceeded my expectations, but I think I prefer the mahi-mahi. The shredded chicken was juicy and tender though. The mini donuts were next level; they put carnival mini donuts to shame. I ordered the Boston cream because that's my favorite kind of doughnut. I inhaled these things; they were melt-in-your-mouth soft, sweet, and made to order so they were incredibly fresh. I can see people coming here in droves after a night of drinking, but everything was delicious sober and in the . I'm so glad I came here! Side note - I forgot to take a picture of the mahi-mahi taco and the donuts because I ate them so quickly. I ordered the chicken taco after I ate both of those.

Food is good. I had three (chicken) street tacos. The chicken was tender albeit a bit dry. Fresh…read morecilantro and white onion. Soft shells were tender too. Salsa comes with order; not a pico de gallo but a crushed canned tomato salsa- sweet and tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Some inside and outdoor seating at a bar style table. I have yet to try their donuts and juices.

I needed some cannolis and looked up online local bakeries…read more lake George was closed so while I was in Saratoga I searched and found Ms Londons Took the chance, in winter sometimes I worry bc it's sort of off-season but I stopped by and luckily they did have them! It was for a birthday I made cannoli cake but didn't want to make the actual cannolis to save time but wanted a higher quality version than price chopper I also got a latte and it was very good- nice and hot (some places they're kinda cooler) The service was great a woman with short brown hair helped me & made the latte. It was a very cute cafe /bakery and idk if they make their desserts but if they do- great job! Im happy either way and the birthday boy said the cannolis were perfect.

This is a tragedy. And that is not a word I use lightly either…read more What kind of person buys a gem like Mrs. London's and doesn't take the time to learn the recipes, master the craft, and maintain the standards of what was once arguably the best boulangerie and patisserie in America? Seriously, there is someone here to blame. What is their name? I want to know. Sure, it's not a civil or criminal offense. But it's a crime against food. It's a crime against the people of Saratoga Springs. And it's just plane offensive. I regret if anyone was driven to try Mrs. London's based on my previous glowing reviews. I am so sorry. I had no idea. But I was just there this morning. I gazed into the pastry case at the croissants, and my heart sank. I felt sick. The croissants looked like something you would see in an airport. I think the croissants at Costco might be better. These were flat, flabby, and pale things. Far from the perfect, golden, flaky, structured, glistening beauties of the past. And this isn't about fond recollections. I have receipts. Photos from the past and pictures of the present. It's night and day. If the new owners aren't going to preserve Mrs. London's food, they should have the decency to put someone else's name on the joint. I too asked about the breads, and was told "their baker retired". Fortunately, Michael London taught other people to bake amazing artisan bread, and his legacy lives on elsewhere. Unfortunately, nobody at the shop bearing his name bothered to pick up the torch. What a shame. It is so sad. I am literally heart broken. This was one of my favorite bakeries in the country. I went out of my way to make a special stop in my limited time passing through the region. But I suppose nothing lasts forever, and this is a valuable reminder of that unfortunate fact. My days visiting Mrs. London's are over. I can no longer recommend it in good conscience. Perhaps the hot chocolate is still good, and the decor is still lovely. However, if you look closely at the glowing reviews, they all point back to a time that has now sadly passed.

They range from your basic/traditional glazed or powdered to some pretty creative and unique flavors. They are not over the top sweet and decadent like some other places. They do a good job making sure the donut is still the star of the show and don't make sugar the star. Oh, and they also have a lot of other food beside donuts. Breakfast sandwiches all day and lunch as well. We came for the donuts but left with donuts, coffee, and breakfast burritos. The inside is well decorated and has some seating. Outdoor seating is also available and spread out nicely for more privacy than you typically find at Old Forge eateries. This is a great place to stop no matter your feeling about donuts. Family owned and run. If you are in town for the mountain biking, they ride and may be able to give you some tips on the trails along with your calories you'll need for the day. We will be back. Often.
