I've had their glazed donuts before & I gotta say they truly surpass my favorite chain bakery. The glazed are light & fluffy tasting with a GREAT balance of sweet. This time my hubby bought their cake donuts! They were delicious. He also surprised me with their kolashes...scrumptious. We will be back. My hubby said they service was very hospitable from the moment, he walked in the door. He was pretty impressed. So again, we will definitely be back because I gotta have more glazed donuts. read more

Certainly understand why this donut shop was voted "Best Donuts" because they are soft and extremely delicious. I am a simple glazed donut fan. But believe these donuts are not simple. A true buttery taste with each glorious bite. A dozen donuts are priced at $10.00. Family are lovers of chocolate glazed. A friend told me about this specific donut store some months back so I finally went. Today was probably my 18th time going since then. They have the BEST donuts in the city hands down. The donuts are light, flaky, and very moist. (Some donut places have dry donuts and tough to chew) these are gone in a couple of bits so get plenty. The croissant sausage wraps are flaky and fresh as well! The donuts were so good the first time we went my little girl ate mines and said "she didn't know what came over her" we've been getting extra since and they still don't stand a chance. I discovered Donutlicious on a random trip to the Neighborhood Wal-Mart sitting behind it, and I'm rather pleased with what I found. The service is better than what you'd expect from a hole-in-the-wall doughnut shop. Usually, there language and cultural barrier that lend themselves to misunderstandings if something is needed beyond the usual transaction (not a criticism), but not here. The employees are fast, friendly, and on the off-chance that you don't know what you want, they are LeBron-level clutch and make great suggestions. Also, if there's an issue with your order, the staff is quick to correct it, or help you find something else. The staff is also extremely patient, courteous, and most importantly, service-minded. I once had to return to wait for someone, and the girl at the counter politely asked if she'd made a mistake. There aren't many businesses that are that concerned about their customers' experiences, so even though nothing was wrong, I appreciated what she did. The doughnuts themselves are good, but could use some work, hence the four-star rating. I've gone in a couple of times, only to find that things in my order weren't as fresh or flavorful as I expected them to be. I realize that doughnnuts are pure sugar, but there is a marked difference between the ones at Donutlicious and other shops in the area. Their jalapeno kolache is better than most, as it isn't full of grease, and you can actually taste the cheese and the "heat" from the jalapeno. The coffee bar is small, but excellent. I think this is the first doughnut shop I've encountered that had Torani classic syrup available for the taking. Most places just offer packets of sugar and sugar alternatives, which can ruin the coffee-drinking experience. I'm pulling back on the number of doughnut runs I make these days, but Donutlicious will remain in my rotation. read more

My mom brought home these donuts the day I was flying back home to California. Man oh man were these donuts yummy. They tasted so fresh, delicious and not greasy at all! It was the perfect treat to go with my coffee. I couldn't eat just one. But I had to ask my family if they wanted one. They all said that they had eaten already and we're full. Terrible!!!! I always go to this place because it's right down the street and pretty good. Today I get my usual, their ham & Swiss croissant and a cinnamon glaze twist and my daughter gets whatever she wants. I get home and bite into nothing but bread...and more bread...and more bread. No egg, no cheese, no nothing. I opened it up and it's a small piece of ham rolled up at the very end of the sandwich. I took it right back up there to get another one. So, instead of just replacing it like good customer service with a repeat customer, the lady who makes it, wants to argue and say, that's how it's always made, I'm the one that makes it, and telling me there is nothing wrong with it! Sweet baby Jesus this place is delicious! This is the first place in Dallas out of a few dozen donut shops that actually makes their chocolate long Johns correctly. The dough has the right crispness and flavor, the chocolate tastes like actual chocolate. Great spot go grab some donuts! read more

Absolutely delicious, straight to the point donuts. If you enjoy Krispy Kreme, this is a real competitor. If you enjoy Dunkin, Donutlicious is obviously superior in every way. Regular, cake, icing, no icing, all excellent. Whatever these folks put on their menu I will try. They could sell cheeseburger donuts and I'm sure they would be delicious.
