Everyone that worked there was so nice. Ordered apple fritter, glazed donut, and sausage egg cheese burrito. Everything was fresh and so good! I always ordered an apple fritter wherever I go because it brings fond memories of my dad. Most places serve overly fried & hard fritters that barely have any apples in it. This place is the exception! The fritter was fried perfectly with large chunks of apples. A nice surprise was when she gave me a couple of extra donuts, maybe because they were close to closing. I wasn't expecting smoked sausage in the burrito but it was still good and fresh. It was so good that I placed a Door Dash order today. We ordered the apple fritter, cinnamon rolls, donut holes, spinach & feta bistro, and ham, egg, cheese croissant. Everything was still so fresh and delicious as if we had ordered in person. The croissant sandwich was a lot bigger than expected & was fluffy. Liked the flavor of the spinach feta bistro & was fluffy as well. Wished the cinnamon roll had more cinnamon flavor. They even threw in several extra donut holes. Packaging was very secure too! Make sure to check this place out either in person or through delivery...your food will be fresh & you won't be disappointed!

I ordered pigs in a blanket instead, but they were served cold. I understand businesses prepare to close, but if you're still open and serving customers, the food should at least be warm and the service should be respectful. Closing soon shouldn't mean customers receive cold food or feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, this experience left me with no desire to return.

During my NYC exodus, it was Donut King that provided me sweet sustenance while I waited for the situation to get better. (#1) They offer drive-thru, which is convenient (#2) and utilized often by locals in the area. The selection is simple, with just a handful of donuts, sausage rolls(#3), sandwiches, and drinks. I appreciate the staff was quick in arranging boxes by the dozen and were friendly on top of it. Their regular glazed are excellent. They're airy with just enough bite and perfectly sweet. The eclairs and apple fritters deserve praise and their cake donuts are practically better than the yeast ones. I think their blueberry and cinnamon were near perfect and wonderfully fresh in the morning. The kolaches, in particular the bacon jumbo and ham + cheese are good and I love that they also have breakfast sandwiches as well. They have a credit card minimum for credit cards at $4. Donuts run out all throughout the day, so I would recommend calling ahead of time to confirm donut availability. The line usually moves at a decent pace in the mornings, but being here early is best. ___________ (#1) Plot twist: It never did. (#2) Pretty much the American way. (#3) AKA Kolaches.
