Great donuts! Good selection, donuts are fresh and fluffy, not greasy, and wonderful customer service!

Midlothian isn't exactly a donut haven, but there is a handful of donut options in town and I happen to think Donut King might be among the best in the vicinity. During my NYC exodus, it was Donut King that provided me sweet sustenance while I waited for the situation to get better. (#1) They offer drive-thru, which is convenient (#2) and utilized often by locals in the area. The selection is simple, with just a handful of donuts, sausage rolls(#3), sandwiches, and drinks. I appreciate the staff was quick in arranging boxes by the dozen and were friendly on top of it. Their regular glazed are excellent. They're airy with just enough bite and perfectly sweet. The eclairs and apple fritters deserve praise and their cake donuts are practically better than the yeast ones. I think their blueberry and cinnamon were near perfect and wonderfully fresh in the morning. The kolaches, in particular the bacon jumbo and ham + cheese are good and I love that they also have breakfast sandwiches as well. They have a credit card minimum for credit cards at $4. Donuts run out all throughout the day, so I would recommend calling ahead of time to confirm donut availability. This is the only place I get donuts in the morning for my customers. Always pleasant to speak with the employees so early in the morning they do such a great job. Super fast get exactly what you need or want would highly recommend. read more

Alright, soooo I came to Texas from SoCal back at the start of the Mew 'new' Year, and my first thought was, "Man, I will seriously miss the multitude of Korean and Japanese delights back in LA." I was so right, but also quite shocked to discover the Korean-ran Donut King here in South Dallas. Being that I am a baked-dough aficionado, I have sampled a plethora of donut established in Dallas but none have come close to LA's sure-handed technique... Until now! The Korean couple that run this joint are awesome! They always want to talk and make sure you're doing 'very great'. Detour down on to Midlothian and 'wrangle' up some sugary goodness! We are from N.W. Indiana. We have have tried three other donut places. And we were very disappointed. This place has the best donuts we have tried so far. We will be making the drive there from now on. The lighting isn't good outside. You might think they are closed. But they are not!
