I would give this pharmacy a 0 if it was possible!! They make is impossible!! The pharmacists makes up her own rules and makes patience who have severe pain SUFFER!! I was told by a tech what day i could pick my meds up and then i planned my travel. Then the day before, i was told i had to wait 2 more days! I've never dealt with such stupid people!! They need to educate their people! I told the tech i could not get my med in a different state, which is a controlled substance, and she told me it wasn't! It absolutely is and it woo t transfer! The customer service at the pharmacy is terrible. Bianca was extremely rude. I waited in the pharmacy line outside for 30 min, they asked me to come in and make a profile for my dog. I confirmed before I left the line that I could come in and continue my space in line. I was told yes, and then when I came in was directed to the back of the line and with a very bad attitude. All the employees are always so nice and helpful. This store usually has everything I need. I like ordering online and picking up inside the store at the photo counter. There's never a long wait. If I shop inside and go to the cashier and there's a line, it's not long before someone comes to help so there's not a super long wait. This Walgreens is my favorite one! read more

If I could give this pharmacy a ZERO, I would. By FAR this is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to, and that says a lot from an army wife who's used pharmacies all over the country. The staff are not only unfriendly, but just down right rude. It's almost as if they train them that way because they all act the same. Twice I have gotten home and didn't have all of my medications, multiple times I've been told that it was too soon to refill one of my meds, when it actually was due for a refill. Once all of my refills on a routine med somehow disappeared and they said that my doctors office called and said to remove the refills. Checked with the doctor and yeah, FALSE!! And I could go on and on but I won't because I'm moving soon. Otherwise, I'd be transferring everything to the Brookshire Brothers across the street!! read more

I had a prescription called in here because it was closest to the friend I am living with. I chose this pharmacy specifically because it reflected a discount card could be used, as I was paying for my medicine out of pocket. When the price rang up to 6x what I was expecting to pay, the pharmacist told me, "that's just what it costs. We don't honor the discount card. No one around here does." He was unecessarily rude, gave me false information and poor customer service. I had my meds called into HEB in Waxahachie the next time. Not only did they give me a discount without any trouble, they automatically applied a DEEPER discount when one became available. I'm more than happy to drive out of my way for a more pleasant experience. read more

If I could rate this store a -5 stars I would. Do not come here for pharmacy needs at any cost if you can avoid it! I put a prescription in on a Thursday and the staff told me to my face it would be here Monday. I called Monday and they told me they never put the order in and they are sorry, even after the staff told me to my face they put the order in for my scripts on the previous Thursday. The medication is a medication I need to for my well-being to be able to operate for daily life. This is not the first time this has happened and it won't be the last. Use other pharmacies and do not come here, they are a sad excuse for a business. Stay away if you need your medications. read more

The pharmacy is awful. This should be no stars. I had a serious infection that needed antibiotics. The pharmacy received the RX from the doctor at 4pm. I tried to call the pharmacy to be sure I could get it before they closed. First time I was on hold for 20 min and the automatic message kept telling me two callers ahead of me. I hung up and thought I would call back a little later as they might be busy with customers. I called back and after being on hold for over 40 minutes with someone picking up the phone around 30 minutes and just put me right back on hold and not saying anything. I drove up there still on hold and there was no one in line at the pharmacy. I told the lady that I was on hold 40 min and still on hold as I drove up. She shrugged her shoulders and gave me the I do not know what to tell you. I did not pick up the phone. Then I asked if I could get my prescription since I needed it and they have had it for 4 hours. She told me no but she would ask. I saw her speak to another clerk and came back and said we can not do that. I have never had such a bad experience with customer service. Oh my. Ok. So been going for years and they hired some new folks. In keeping with the feds asking for particular groups or persons to be hired, a fella with Austism was hired to do the front registers and stocking. He's been at this location for a year or so, and he's driving people nuts. Inclusivity matters sure. Understood. But when this person literally talks loudly, offends people, and constantly asks about the phone number for rewards, many of us feel like we could crawl in a corner. It puts us on the spot. Like my dad, 77, cannot hear well. This associate keeps running his mouth, avoids allowing ppl to answer questions, and announces items my dad buys, while everyone hears it. How would one guy react if this associate screamed across the store about a pack of adult diapers? Condoms, female products?? It's putting customers in a terrible position. Everybody knows this associate's break-time because they say it loudly!! I will get these ppl, but my break is in 4.4 minutes. People who had already gotten their items were just face planting because of the constant questions. Do better please!!! read more

I will never enter Walgreens in Midlothian again. I needed a Prescription refilled a little early 3 days. I was going to England on vacation. The pharmacist and the Pharmacy Mgr, both told me that there was no way in the world they would fill it with more than two days, and then that depended on them. I did get pretty upset with them, but did not use foul language, I was just firm that this was about MY HEALTH, and both my Dr and Insurance company approved of me getting this a few days early. This is not a company mandate, it is theirs. If I could have the RX transfered to another Walgreens they would fill it. I left with out my RX. The part that makes me so angry is that the next day as I was boarding my plane, I get a text that the RX is ready and I can pick it up. No way to get it and make my flight. The Pharmacist and Manager are just arrogant, rude, and terrible people to deal with. I will never go back. read more

I seriously have been waiting to get a prescription filled most of today! They were sent yesterday and one was not due for refill until today. I've called every hour or so, same recording, one is filled the other is UNDER REVIEW by the Pharmacist! So I called for the 4th TIME, to talk to SOMEONE! I was on hold for 15 solid minutes (2:20pm) finally someone a young make said it would not be ready until 4pm! Their pharmacy is horrendous. They've entered my prescriptions wrong, they ignore my special instructions (don't fill until I request -- many of my meds are PRN -- as needed), and they neither speak nor understand English with any fluency. It should be simple to have "3" refills, fill it, and then have "2" refills left, but their computer system screws that up, too. Why would I trust something as important as properly filling a prescription to someone who can't communicate properly? They can't set their computer system to let you know when a prescription is ready without having it send you e-mails every 24 hours or so telling you to hurry up and pick up your prescription. Just calling them requires one to listen to advertisements and other nonsense for several minutes before one is connected to a pharmacist (who you can't understand). I have switched to a pharmacy in Waxahachie (not Walgreens), and the new pharmacy is a breath of fresh air. read more

This is the absolute WORST pharmacy I have ever used. They're lazy, rude, and uneducated in their fields. I have been given the wrong prescription in the past, and incorrectly charged for prescriptions that my insurance definitely covers. Worst run pharmacy I've been to. Slow, not helpful. Not competent. I've had multiple bad experiences. 1. They did not have a medicine I needed. No big deal. I asked what location would. Tech said closest was Mesquite but couldn't tell me which location. I called mesquite location and they were able to tell me exactly where to go. 2. Never updated me on an order I dropped off. My doc gave me a script for something that was over the counter but didn't tell me it was OTC. I dropped it off at Walgreens, they took it, but never called to tell me it was OTC. 3. Just today I went to drive thru. I was 4th in line (they have one line that is drop off only- stupid!). I waited 10 minutes and only one car went through. I had a newborn so I left as he started to get fussy. I had my script transferred to a different location I would be near later that day. There were three cars in front of me at that location, however I was able to get my prescription in under 10 minutes. Worst ever. I have been a Walgreens customer at a different location for as long as I can remember. I moved here and now have to find a new pharmacy. read more

Not a Fan of this Walgreens for pharmacy reasons. The store itself is ok, so I gave them an extra star for the store. The pharmacy takes FOREVER to answer their phone if you have a question.. I've been in hold 10-15 minutes before anyone answers. Last time I went there, I was sick and was in the drive through line. I handed the cashier my credit card and she said "I'm sorry since you have a chip you need to either come in the store or get back in the line and wait behind these cars". Are you kidding me???? I'm not pulling behind 5 cars when I'm already in the line. Why the heck can't you swipe my card now. So I drove around, pulled my kids out of the car, all of who were sick, all so I could pay with my credit card for my RX. I am looking elsewhere for a pharmacy. read more

I recently filled a prescription at the Walgreens in Midlothian. I have been filling my prescriptions there for several years with no problem other than maybe a rude cashier every now and then. The prescription for one was different this time which was because my dr changed it. Instead if he usual 60 (one month supply) my dr accidentally put in 90. With this medication it would only be a month and a half worth because I take them twice a day. When I opened the bottle I saw that it didn't seem like 90 at all so I counted them. There was only 61 so I immediately went back to tell the pharmacist. I was told that they counted their supply and they were not off. Mind you this is blood pressure medication.... So they pretty much called me a lier.. Looks like I will be finding a new pharmacy. Thanks for nothing! read more

Here's the secret to getting your prescriptions in about 30 minutes. Take them in and wait! I was in the drive-thru and they said it would take about 2 hours to fill two prescriptions. When I begged them to fill them faster they said to come in and they could do it in the above-mentioned 30 minutes. Cost me more because I did buy stuff so their marketing technique seems to work.
