The Donut Pantry is a good place to buy donuts. I just started going there. I actually go almost every morning. The very first time I went in there I even told the pretty Vietnamese owner that the donut shop smelled like a donut shop from when I was a kid. With that, their donuts taste good. They have a light crisp to them and seem fresh. Eating donuts at most places makes me hate donuts. I'm pretty much going to not eat donuts if it isn't at the Donut Pantry. If you want large and delicious donuts with a diverse variety to choose from, this is the place to go, especially early morning when everything is fresh. Their glazed donut holes are much larger then normal, soft and go down way too easy! Chocolate glazed and chocolate crullers are the best I have had anywhere! The donuts from there will even warm up nicely the next day with about 10 seconds in the microwave. Under new management since 2019, they seem to have longer hours and more donuts on hand even on busy days like Saturday and Sunday. read more

The donuts here are amazing! We've been to a couple other places in Fallbrook but this place takes the cake (or donut). I always get an old fashioned and it's always delicious and fresh. The donut holes are so much better than other places I've tried. I bought 2 dozen holes for my family a few weeks ago and they were gone so fast. Michelle and her husband are so sweet too. I always get coffee, both regular and decay, and they always have cream and sugar out. Some places insist on putting it in for you, but that's not an issue here. If it's a rainy day, get hete early! Cute little local donut shop. I was in the area for work. Wanted to explore Fallbrook as I was so taken aback by how country and quaint this place was.. I kept thinking "where does one eat around here?", so of course I yelped.. Unfortunately, the place I yelped had a full lot so I ended up in this little shopping center across the street. This place was very small and the selection was limited.. Probably because they know their business.. Let's face it, there aren't that many people out here.. It would be pointless to produce massive amounts when you know you have a small amount of regulars come in. I ordered a chocolate old fashion and a chocolate cake like donut. Requested a warm donut that's on the rack but nooooo... there's a new villain working this morning-I think it's an "older female relative". She refuses to give me what I wanted but instead gave me what she feels I wanted. Which is nothing less than an product I didn't want. Great prices, friendly staff, and so delicious! Was worried I wouldn't get to try the apple fritter by the time I got there (9am) but they still had some. The chocolate donut was so fluffy inside..and the apple fritter was so crispy on the outside, with the perfect flavor and also nice and soft inside. The donut holes are $1.75/dozen so I couldn't pass that up. I'm in love with their danishes though, that's my natural weakness! I will be back to try more :) read more

Generally excellent donuts. I am a somewhat frequent visitor because generally they have excellent donuts. From time to time though I will purchase a donut that is obviously from the previous day ( unknowably) and which of course by no way compares with that day's donuts. I primarily hope the very nice owners of this establishment read this and make sure that they not sell old donuts or at least mark them as such and discount their price. The reason Krispy Kreme has been so successful is not because their donuts are inherently better but just because they are typically very fresh. I will return to the donut pantry because I have experience and know that their fresh donuts are delicious BUT if I had been a first time customer and ate and OLD donut there would probably be little chance I'd return nor recommend to friends. read more

I am a spoiled Wisconsin girl and these donuts just weren't up to my par. Midwest does donuts best. I got a custard filled donut at this place and it tasted kind of like sour milk. The place is amazing. I called at 530 in the morning and they answered the phone in a Sunday morning. I had family visiting and wanted to surprise all the kids when they woke up. The donuts were fresh and hot when I ate one in the way home. All the kids were excited when they woke up to donuts. We will definitely keep going there for our donuts.
