Black Raspberry stuffed donut is everything for me. I always get a large Iced coffee with it. read more

Really love the donuts here!! I'd suggest waking up early to grab them. The donuts are usually the first to go since they're so delicious! Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty good too. It's still cash only, but totally worth it. They also sell iced/hot coffee here. read more

The BEST! Really though... Does it get any better than this? Pros: - BEST donuts this side of the Mississippi; cooked fresh everyday... Usually a couple times a day?! I have gone in later in the day and they are still bringing out more donuts from out back - Donuts are huge - Great prices - Friendly staff - Absolutely delicious... Seriously I can't get enough! - Great pastries too Cons: - you will gain weight if you eat too many of these donuts... - parking could get tight? But it beats street parking - they are addicting read more

The best doughnuts I have ever eaten! First time trying boston cream and it was to die for. Brought a box back to PA when visiting family

This is unfortunate but I have to knock off three stars and give this place a bad review NOT BECAUSE of the donuts but because of the arrogant customers who frequent here. I believe any place who has customers should have 1. Great food. 2. Pricing 3. Cleanliness 4. Safe and welcoming environment. 5. Care about their customers. I dinged them for the last two which are very important as this incident happened when I was writing my review in my car, in their half empty parking lot at around 10:30 in the morning. Read on... I was writing the review as this was my first day to try out donut king donuts. I got the honey glazed donut. It was fantastic for $1.34 I spent. I enjoyed it while in my car and pulled out my phone and started writing this review put of joy. So what the fu** can go wrong....? Read on... Massachusetts, I truly believed was not going to succumb to the stupidity of kicking out customers from PARKING LOTS due to the colour of their skin or that the fact that this happened is sort of funny at the same time outrageous and the owners should know about WHAT truly happened because hates gonna hate and liars are gonna lie. There was an old man with his SUV Parked right next to me. My car was on as the heater was on. He started to pull his car out. I looked up at him and he glanced at me and started swearing. It seemed to me that he thought I was pulling out and thats why I looked and seemed very pissed. I pulled my window down and waved my hand to let him know he is good and he can pull out. To which he shows me a finger. I yelled at him - 'Sir you can go'. To which he swears on the colour of my skin and says - Get the fuck out of my country. (Ironically the woman who served my the donut was dark skinned and def. an immigrant). Thanks for ruining my Donut Joy Old man. To end this - I honked at him at least five times to show him I am not going down to his level but I guess I had raise my voice and tell him - He can Mind his own personal appearance and keep his fu**ing thoughts to himself. The owners probably know about these fu**s and if they read this then they should do something. Maybe hire some more coloured Americans. He seemed like a frequent customer who truly in 2018 chooses to live misinformed and then again swears at anyone because he can't seem to able to pull out of a parking lot and IMO he should not be driving. Sigh! read more

I did not realize what a donut was until I came here! The best donuts and breakfast pastries along with great prices. I will say some of the staff is not friendly but that is not a deal breaker. If they asked you how many in an aggressive tone, its because they want to use the right bag/box!!! A lot of people don't understand and they don't explain it. Overall a must visit. PS If you want an amazing donut cake for a birthday go to the Weymouth location! read more

Disappointing donuts and pastries, kind of dry not much flavor. Drove across town hoping for something better than DD , but DD would have been better. read more

I went with 2 stars for Donut King in my opinion it used to be better back in the day. The orange juice I got was in a small plastic bottle and I did not know the name brand it was a local name and my bf said to me oh that orange juice we had in school. Very off tasting orange juice we also had a donut it was dry and hard tasting. I have never had their coffee though the breakfast sandwiches that we had were so-so everything was cooked alright but nothing to write home about. I guess it is better then other places but might not order from here again idk it was alright. read more

Donut King donuts are a gift from God!!!! The honey dipped ANYTHING will make you cry they're so good!!! The women that work there are the angels who greet you with a smile & a pleasant attitude that is the perfect beginning to your day or ending of a night shift!!! I'm sure knowing they are serving the BEST DONUTS & PASTRIES in the world helps make them so pleasant!!! read more

We were treated really rudely. We asked if we cab have an order of munchkins/donut holes (because the other location has it). The woman that was helping made it a point to rip is apart by saying "we're not Dunkin donuts we don't carry those". We kindly said that oh we didn't know since they have it at the other location. She then goes " no they don't and never have".... We won't be coming back. There was no reason for her response it was rude and inappropriate. read more

They have large donuts and they taste great. Their apple fritters are about the size of your head and melt in your mouth good! I don't drink coffee so I can't review that but I did get a tea, you can't really mess that up! There's normally a long line and last time I was there they were cash only I believe. read more

Their cake donuts are run of the mill, in line with Demet's etc. I thought their yeast donuts were better. Light and fluffy. Would return but won't go out of the way. read more

The Price is what is great at Donut King you can walk out of their with a Medium Hot Coffee and a Muffin under $3. Oh and they are homemade not that crap that sits in a truck and is shipped from god knows where. Has a huge townie following and the same time each morning you can find these individuals in their regular spots chatting away. The women who work there are really nice and seems as though they try to get to know the customers. read more

Hello, My uncle Tony has been coming up there for years. He wears a purple Kings Hat. He'd like to write a review in my name. :D So here's what my uncle would like to say: I'd like to say that your donuts are bigger and better then Double D's. And your coffee is a lot better then Double D's. Also I'd like to say for the 30 years or so I've been walking here, I really have loved the staff over those years. In-particular, I'd like to say Lois, The Owner, Is a doll. PS. - Thank u for making my uncle happy all these years! read more

This place is amazing! I started working in Quincy a few blocks from here and my boss would drive me there every morning to get coffee. Everyone in there -- the customers and employees -- are all hardcore locals. Its a bunch of old dudes in there. The ladies behind the counter learned what my drink was after two or three days and they are super nice. The coffee is not the best, but its drinkable. I would like it to be a little stronger and not have lingerings of flavored coffee in my regular coffee. The donuts are fairly extreme... they're of a nice size and very sweet. But you should totally go there for the atmosphere. My friend told me it was like a time-warp going in there.. and it is. Check it out, you'll see. I feel like local Donut Shops are quite rare, due to the dominance of the chain donut restaurants so that makes this place even more exclusive and worth a visit. read more

If you're looking for a REAL donut (not dunkin donuts) this is the place to go. I love their chocolate frosted but have also enjoyed the butternut, chocolate glazed, jelly, Boston creme and a few others. I highly recommend getting here as early as possible on a weekend morning because most specialty flavors sell out by 9am. I have never tried their coffee but they offer a variety of flavors. The parking lot is small but there is also some street parking. Most people get their donuts to go but there are some bar seats and a few tables inside. Enjoy!! read more

Donut King - Donuts Near Me - Quincy, Massachusetts

I cannot believe I've lived in Quincy for over a year and just went to Donut King for the first time. A couple of friends told me the iced coffee rivaled that of Mary Lou's so I had to check it out for myself. I was wow'ed. My iced Milky Way was out of this world good. Prices are nice too... $2.40 for a large iced coffee is a-ok in my book. The donuts all looked and smelled delicious and if I hadn't come post-gym I probably would have been tempted to order one of those too. Maybe another time... Friendly service, great prices and delicious coffee... what more could I ask for? (maybe that they take debit cards but I completely get why they don't and it's not a deal breaker for me.) read more

Personally, they were not my favorite donuts. The cake donuts were giant with a crunchier exterior, the inside wasn't too dry but they hardly had any flavor and ended up upsetting my stomach. Maybe I just need to try different flavors! read more

Visited Donut King on our way to Blue Hills Reservation. Unfortunately they were out of most donuts but the two we tried were pretty amazing-Bavarian cream and coconut. The donuts were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and overall delicious. They were a little bready for my taste but my partner really liked them. The black and white cookie was not good. I'll definitely be back to try more donuts! read more

My buddy used to live across the street from this place and it was on my way to work when I was dodging the highway. They make the best doughnuts I've ever had. And they're warm. Have you ever had a warm doughnut on a cold January day? It's like going to homeless guy heaven. Occasionally, when we would drop my buddy off at a ridiculous hour or we'd overstay our welcome at the Sly Fox they'd already be making doughnuts and the entire neighborhood smelled like a glazed bakery. I'll never know how that wasn't the fattest neighborhood in Quincy. read more

I am not a huge fan of donuts generally. Having grown up exclusively with DD, I can take them or leave them. BUT, someone brought these in to work the other morning, Amazing with a nice hot cup of coffee! I made my husband go get a dozen the next morning, and he is in total agreement---and he is a donut snob. They are so huge that 1/2 a donut is sufficient, but that fact won't stop you from eating the whole thing, or even 2! I think my fav is the honey dip, just the right amount of sweet with a slight crispness, It is in kind of a sketchy neighborhood (for Quincy). But you will never want any donut chain donut again after eating these read more

Good chocolate covered doughnuts! Their iced coffee is YUM also. My only complaint is that I never wake up in time to get one of their egg and cheese sandwiches. Every time i've gone in its been pretty packed so expect to wait. read more

The donuts here are just TOO. DARN. GOOD. Before I discovered Donut King, I would never eat donuts, as I know they aren't the healthiest of foods... but now that I have experienced the heavenliness of Donut King's donuts -- I'm truly addicted! All the donuts here are great, but my absolute fave is the honey dipped jelly. First of all, it's HUGE, the consistency and abundance of the glaze is on point, and the amount of jelly filling (read: A LOT!) is just everything I would ever want in a filled donut. The non-donut bakery item that you *MUST TRY* if you go here is the lemon poppyseed muffin top. This muffin top is so good that I don't even want to tell other Yelpers about it, because I want more for me! (They sell out fast!) True to Donut King, their muffin tops are also HUGE, and the lemon poppy seed is perfectly flavored, soft, and moist. Did I mention that they're glazed? Did I mention that they also have a lemon curd-type filling on top?! BOOM - mind is BLOWN. The prices here are excellent, and the women who work here are wonderful! Their iced coffee can be hit or miss, but if you like donuts and other baked breakfast items, check this place out! P.s. this place is CASH ONLY. read more

Meh, I've been in a handful of times and have just had a so-so experience each time. The coffee was ok, the baked goods were ok. Nothing mind blowing, I prefer Dunkin overall, especially since the Dunks down near Quincy Adams has pretty great customer service usually. The staff here are not very friendly. I got the feeling that they have to know you to be nice to you, which is pretty off putting when you're not a regular. Guess they have enough regulars that they don't need to win over new people. They have a tiny parking lot, which means most people park on the street/sidewalk or across the street at Copeland. It can make driving around here in the morning annoying. read more

Donut King is a hidden gem. A place where the regulars come. Great for any crowd really. Wicked friendly staff and so cheap!!! The donuts are huge and always fresh. They have cute dinosaur shaped cookies and holidays pastries. Love their coffees, always innovating new flavors. For those who've never tried, you guys are missing out. It's not a drive thru but you'll be in and out so fast. You'll also probably leave thinking how amazingly cheap it is too! Just go try it out, and you're welcome. read more

Yummy flavors that will bring you back to your childhood.... but don't let your eyes get you into trouble... one is more than enough to satisfy. The coffee was great too! Definitely an old school townie place, but everyone was very friendly. read more

It's hard to find true doughnuts these days but Donut King is a staple in Quincy, Mass. Get here early for the best selections. My favorite is the honey dipped apple filled donut, but since they always run out of those first- the cinnamon apple is also good. Regular honey dip is classic and still is moist and delicious the next day! If you can wait, the donuts are discounted in the afternoon but all the good flavors are gone. read more

So there are many times I could have come on here and given a 5 star review. They have the best donuts in Quincy. But I'll be honest, I never did come on to give them that review. That said 3 times in the last two weeks I have had issues. Two weeks ago my Asiago bagel that my sandwich was on was way undercooked with raw dough in middle of the top half. Then again today same exact thing. Had to throw it away when I got to office building cause it was that raw and doughy. I said to myself that I just wouldn't get that kind of bagel again b/c it is odd shaped and they must not be cooking right. I also got a coffee roll/honey bun. This i had at my desk so luckily I got to take a pic. Again, raw. Just really unacceptable. And disappointing. If it's happened to me it definitely happened to others given it's been three times in 2 weeks. For these reasons I want to give 1 star but never left them the 5 star they have deserved in the past so averaged it out in the middle. read more

These donuts are a hidden gem! Make sure to place your order the day before or else the popular ones might sell out!

Best donuts around. Jelly stick, honey dip, boston creme, etc. Donuts are twice the size of Dunks and better tasting. I'm pretty particular about my coffee, and this place ain't Starbucks, but its better than the sugar water DD serves up. Gets 5 stars cuz it's an old fashion donut shop with BOMB donuts and you can't play KENO and buy lotto tix at DD or Marylou's! read more

Darn... I guess all good things come to an end. These guys used to be one of the last breakfast joints that made bacon from scratch when you ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Last time I went there the bacon was precooked on a sheet tray and the difference came out in the taste. I was bummed and still am. I hope they get back to cooking the bacon from scratch and making the place smell of wonderful bacon when you ordered one with a hangover :-D That said, the fig bars are still the bomb and I still order them here. I had to knock it down a star since I ate here about three times in the past year and every time is the same... sheet tray pre-cooked bacon. I understand why restaurants cook bacon on a sheet tray in bulk because it takes a long time to render down the delicious meat strips... but there is a reason why people don't cook bacon in the oven at home... because it sucks. read more

I can't believe I have lived in Quincy my whole life and never tried this place. Well I tried it today and it was great!! Good bye dunkin donuts, this place beats them by a mile in the donut arena. I am a tea drinker so I will probably never go to dunkies again. Donuts were fresh and delicious. I bought a dozen donuts and got some delicious muffins as well. Brought everything to work and they didn't last long. Can't wait to stop in over the weekend for my family to try as well. I am definitely a return customer. read more

Love these doughnuts! I prefer the soft donuts: Boston cream, cinnamon roll, twist, lemon and Bavarian cream. I have tried the old-fashioned style donuts and I just can't feel the love there. My husband and I recently found this place and love it! We'd get up just to have their donuts and then went back to bed. Honey dip is my favorite, butternut is great but too sweet for me, Bavarian creme is also delicious, and they still taste good after several hours. I love Krispy Kreme when I lived in the west coast, and only tried Dunkin Donuts after I moved here. I am so glad we live close by! Wonderful food/service/price! read more
