A change from the regular donut chains in the area. Lots of variety, somewhat easy to get to and fresh. What more can you ask for? Stop in and grab a dozen or order for an office party, birthday, or special occasion. Hot and fresh! Fairly priced. They were devoured.
**June 2024: Sunday Morning Visit** I've had my fair share of donuts and let me tell you the donuts at The Donut Hub have some of my favorites! They have more of a malasada taste to it, so it's more light and fluffy than a traditional one. I also really like the citrus treats as they add a nice tartness to the bite and balance out the sweetness of the frosting. The Lemon Blueberry is the most popular here, but I really enjoyed the candied orange on the Orange Circle Signature. The shop is simple and clean, and the owners are very positive and friendly. I would be happy to come back and enjoy more donuts here!
Donut hub is close by my work, and I've been meaning to visit the shop. I finally was able to visit the shop on an early Friday morning at 6:30 am. I needed a pick me up, for a work meeting. The donut shop is located on the corner, in a plaza with ample parking. The store is very cozy and spacious. I was the only customer at the shop, and the owner greeted me warmly. I wanted to try their special donuts. Unfortunately, the owner informed me that he only had the lemon blueberry and hibiscus donuts. He had to wait for his wife to come in. Aww bummer, I'll arrive a bit later next time. I ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and a lemon blueberry donut. He asked me if I wanted the hibiscus donut, but I told him I wasn't a fan of hibiscus. While he was in the back, I sat on one of the chairs. It didn't take long for the food to come out. We had a little chat, since I thought he was Vietnamese. He was telling me a bit about his family background, which was nice to learn. Also, he threw in the hibiscus donut and donut holes in for free. I didn't expect that, but it was greatly appreciated! I enjoyed the flavorful taste of the sausage breakfast sandwich. Also, I liked that the bagels were thick. I only tried the lemon blueberry donut, and I'm in love. The donut was so light and airy, with the right amount of tartness from the lemon. I also enjoyed the fluffy donut holes. The price of the donuts are affordable. I'll be back to try more flavors of the donuts!

First time here, by recommendation, place was clean you can smell the fresh donuts . I really love the art work on the walls. Customers service was great, the gentleman working was welcoming and very professional. Will come back to try their breakfast sandwiches . Thanks donut hub
Simon and his wife are so friendly and welcoming with big smiles. They go above and beyond to make us feel special! We usually get Boston cream, blueberry, and sugar donuts along with mango smoothie. You can't go wrong with any of their fluffy donuts, but our favorite is the sausage egg breakfast burritos. Perfect combination of salty and savory. No wonder we keep finding ourselves every weekend at this best donut shop in OC!
I just can't say enough great things about this donut shop!! Their donuts are ALWAYS fresh, and they also offer breakfast burritos, which are really good, and breakfast sandwiches which are my favorite - and for just a little extra you can get your sandwich on a croissant - YUM! (*Just a note: they put Mayo in their breakfast sandwiches, which I really like - but some might not. So if you're not a mayo person, be sure to ask them to leave it off) They also have smoothies - which I haven't tried yet. Now that it's been warming up, I'll have to give it a try. You can't beat the freshness of the donuts and hot food, but also the friendliness of the owner, Simon. He'll always greet you with a smile and is just a very kind guy! Ok, so I know I have already mentioned this in my previous reviews, but their apple fritters are on point - crispy and sweet on the outside, and moist and apple-y in the middle. And, if you're lucky to get one first thing in the morning, it will also still be warm - YUM!! And also be sure to get a dozen donuts holes if they still have some. They are fresh and light and so tasty!! Enjoy!!
I like getting the crossaint sandwiches here. Usually egg, cheese, sausage, bacon and egg. Donuts are good too. Nice, clean place.
Donut Hub has the best Donuts and sandwiches in the Orange area! I work across the complex from them and have been getting their food the last 6 years. The donuts are always fresh and the sandwiches are delicious. Simon, the owner, and his wife are both wonderful people and deserve all the support for their small business.
I've had Donut Hub bookmarked for a while now because of the high reviews and the delicious looking speciality donuts, so I was excited to finally be able to try it. Unfortunately, when I went, they completely ran out of speciality donuts already which was a bummer and surprising because it was only noon. I guess this place is just really popular and you have to come early to get what you want. I still ended up ordering the lemon filled donut and I really liked that! Even though it's more of a traditional donut, they do it really well here because the actual texture of the dough somehow tasted better than your average traditional donut. Alongside this, the jelly had more of a natural citrus taste to it instead of an artificial one. This makes me want to try the speciality donuts even more but with that being said, if they're out of those when you go, I still recommend picking up a traditional donut because you won't regret it. The store overall is the size of your average donut shop and is clean and brightly lit with a few seats if you choose to eat there. There were two ladies working there when I went and they were both so kind and sweet. The store is located in a small plaza and finding parking was not a problem.
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the friendly and welcoming staff, fresh and fluffy donuts, and tasty breakfast sandwiches. The space is clean and inviting.

Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth craving? Donut Hub has got you covered. This small shop offers regular as well as gourmet donuts. I ordered 3 gourmet donuts, and the owner threw in a regular chocolate glazed donut on the house. Chocolate Glazed Donut: $1 - I was expecting this to be a run of the mill chocolate glazed donut, but the owner let me know that he double chocolate glazes his donuts which really made the taste stand out. Plus the donut was super fresh and for the price was a great deal! White Chocolate Pistachio $3 - I love pistachio so I had to try this! The owner even filled the donut with fresh crème, which tasted good but unfortunately didn't have as strong a pistachio flavor as I was hoping for. Billionair $2.75 - This donut had a lot going on with it which included salted caramel, potato chips, nuts, and chocolate. I enjoyed every bite of this donut! The only negative thing I have to say is that the chips weren't as crispy as I was hoping for them to be. But still this was such a great concept for a donut. Tiramisu $3 - Tiramisu as a donut? YES PLEASE! All that mascapone cheese filling had me drooling! Overall I really liked the donuts here, especially the pricing on the regular type of donuts. I've only been here a handful of times but they're always nice and friendly. The donuts are good, and the specialty donuts look nice and taste delicious, especially the lemon blueberry. The croissant sandwiches aren't made with typical croissants, but they are very buttery and filling. The only complaint I might have is that the specialty donuts run out quickly, but all you need to do is ask and they're happy to make it for you when possible. I placed an order in advance for a dozen donuts for my office. They ran out of blueberries for the lemon blueberry donuts, but were able to replace them and even gave me the extra unblueberried donuts with just lemon glaze. read more

My friend and I wanted to get some breakfast and I saw this place on yelp. What attracted me was the extensive menu, fair prices, and the early open hours. We decided to go and I got the bacon burrito while she got a sausage burrito. The burritos took a while but it was fine bc the quality was very good. They came wrapped in foil, already nicely cut in half and with a side of salsa and jalapenos. The bacon in my burrito was so good, I would definitely get it again! The people working were so friendly and while we didn't get any donuts they all looked very delicious and we'll probably go back for those next time! Would recommend if you're looking for a place with cheaper breakfast options, donuts and early hours! read more
Donut Hub has made it to the top of my list of donut shops! I ordered three gourmet donuts, which ranges from $2.75-$3.00. This is such a steal because most places start at $3.50 for a gourmet style donut! The donuts itself are fluffy and soft, just what I love in a yeast donut! They freshly glaze their donuts to order so the donuts tasted so fresh when I brought it home to enjoy. I highly recommend the maple bacon because the bacon is crispy and meaty without being overly oily! The maple glaze is just the right amount of sweet where it's not overpowering the bacon taste. I also highly recommend the Lemon Blueberry and Hibiscus Blueberry as they use fresh blueberries, which is a game changer! Their glaze is sweet and tangy, which helps make the donut not feel so heavy. This place definitely makes quality donuts at a reasonable price - I'm a fan! read more

Donut Hub is no doubt a gem. The owners are super attentive, so helpful and genuinely kind. Every customer gets the same care and they make sure to keep you updated while you wait just to acknowledge you so you don't forgotten it's really a testament to great service and how to run a shop. We were craving donuts and found this place on Yelp and we are so glad we did!!!! The guy that was behind the counter was extremely helpful, friendly and nice!!!! This place can customize your fillings for your donuts! My daughter wanted a Nutella donut, but it had coffee filling inside, but instead he made us a Nutella donut with cookie n creme filling instead!!! So awesome!!! We ordered the PB, maple bacon, lemon blueberry, cookies n creme, original glazed, Nutella, twist and donut holes. They were all SO good! The donut was so soft! The lemon blueberry one, was a bit too lemony for our taste, but it was still good! This place also personalizes donuts where they can write "Happy Birthday" or "Congratulations" ON the donut! They also do donut bouquets! So cool right!? I would highly recommend checking this place out! We would definitely be coming back for sure!!! Oh! This place also has a stamp card!!! Yummmmmmm We arrived around 11:30am and many donuts looked sold out, we thought this was a good sign. We were right !!! Everything we had was absolutely amazing! Staff was friendly and place was clean. They gave us little donut holes with our specialty donuts. Prices were fair. The only small con was the boba in my Thai tea was very soft and crumbly. My breakfast burrito, donuts and my boyfriends breakfast sandwich and Vietnamese iced coffee was so tasty! Will definitely come back when in the area. read more

A standard mom and pop donut shop dipping into the modern ostentatious donut craze. A lot of the donuts were your standard classic donuts and basic coffee and tea selections. They did have a few trays with their more exotic flavors. I got the hibiscus and the pistachio cream. I think I was overly excited to try this place. A bit underwhelmed with the actual taste. I like the donuts themselves but I felt like I did not truly taste the hibiscus and I definitely did not really taste the pistachio. So concepts for flavors but not properly executed. Moderately priced for the extravagant donuts but I would not go out of the way to come here. Maybe if I were in the neighborhood. Located in a quite plaza. Parking is pretty good was not too busy for a Saturday morning. I truly believe they care about the presentation of the donuts and how they package them. read more

I normally don't write reviews, but wow! My boyfriend and I went here late on Sunday morning, so we beat the rush. The man working, I assume the owner, was nothing but cordial and kind. We both got donuts and breakfast sandwiches. He even included two donut holes on both of our orders to make it look like Mickey Mouse! We sat down to eat inside and he came and closed the blinds to keep the sun out of our eyes. My boyfriend loved his sandwich (I have yet to eat mine) and the donut was divine. We'll be sure to return! Another thing- he skipped past the tip portion when we paid with card! I had to leave money because the service was so great. Please don't skip next time! The donut game in O.C. is strong. With places like Sidecar, Friendly's, Donuttery, DK, Duck donuts-- i can go on, there are numerous spots that are 4.5-5 stars with 1000's of reviews. Well Donut Hub hangs with the big dogs with no problem at all! Several OG Yelpers has already blessed this place, so I had an idea of what to order--- Maple bacon 500 stars --- I won't eat a MB donut if it has that old grubby looking bacon on it. You know, that bacon that looks microwaved hours earlier? Well DH makes the bacon FRESH when you order. That is a mic drop! My little ones got the standard donuts, and the kind gentleman who helped us gave us plenty of extra donut holes. This is a looooooong overdue review of Sam the Man and his donut boquets! My bf likes to surprise and spoil his girls whenever possible, so this past Valentine's Day (I told you it was overdue!) he surprised our daughter with a donut boquet from Donut Hub. You get to pick 12 different donuts and he places them in a box arranged like flowers and it is such a fun sight to see. We really wanted their lemon blueberry donuts in the boquet but Sam let us know that they were fresh out of the oven and they would completely melt the other donuts. So what does he do? Gives us LB donuts on the side! On the house! But this isn't a 5 star just for the free donuts. Sam completely steals your heart. Exceptional customer service from everyone else as well. Donuts are always fresh and if they don't have it in the display, just ask and they will literally make a new batch! Like who does that? No one but Donut Hub! Also for all you cool creative cats and kittens, if you think of a donut flavor they don't carry and Sam likes your idea, he will make that donut, name it after you, and sell it for a limited time. Easily one of my favorite donut shops! Visited for the first time today and was greeted by friendly owners and delicious specialty donuts. The owners work quickly and made us fresh donuts when the ones we wanted were out. We tried the lemon blueberry, hibiscus, matcha, and chocolate pistachio. The lemon blueberry was a clear winner for me. The glaze is delightfully sweet and refreshingly lemon-y. I loved the fresh blueberries on top. For specialty donuts, prices were extremely reasonable ($2.50 each). They even added extra donut holes for free! Such great service and even more delicious donuts! read more

I'm glazy about this place! The owner was seriously so sweet - even sweeter than the delicious donut I got. They were sold out of a lot of the flavors, but he said that they could make any flavor fresh that we wanted. He also gave us a free whole donut because they ran out of donut holes! They have a bunch of the classic, traditional flavors like glazed old fashioned and chocolate sprinkle, but also some really fun and creative ones like maple bacon and s'mores. There's something for everyone and you can't beat the prices! I got the blueberry lemon - sweet and tangy lemon icing and tart fresh blueberries. My sister tried the maple bacon. It was interesting - the bacon was super crispy and savory, which balanced out the sweet maple icing. Donut sleep on this place! 100/10 would recommend! read more

I've been to so many donut shops in my life and I think this one is finally my favorite. They are perfect for one simple reason: if they run out of a certain donut, they'll just make some more! I don't understand why other donut shops don't have this concept. I used to think it was some unwritten rule that donut shops could only have a certain batch each day and that was it. But this place shatters that notion and it improves the experience tenfold. I got there around 830 and their display was already pretty empty due to their donuts being so popular. Then the guy asked me "What would you like? Even if we're out, we can make some more." Amazing. No need to stress and worry about getting to the donut shop at the crack of dawn to beat the rush. I love this new policy of just making food when it's ordered. Who knew??.. And on top of that, their donuts are absolutely delicious. So far I've only tried a few of them but they are astounding. The tiramisu one tastes just like tiramisu, if it was in donut form. My favorite one so far is the lemon blueberry. Holy cow that one is just the right amount of sweet and tart. It's one of my most favorite flavors. I can't wait to return here regularly and try the rest of the donuts! read more
Came here around 4 pm yesterday after late lunch in the same neighborhood. I bought 4 donuts to try and boy...this place does deliver!! The dough is soft and the topping is not too sweet and just perfect! The 4 donuts I tried yesterday: - Hibiscus donut with blueberries on top and little melted sugar drizzle...heaven! The hibiscus topping is a bit sour, so when it's combined with the drizzled sugar it was just perfect...and the touch of fresh blueberries on top...yummy!!! - Triple Berry: my fave! Must must try! - blueberry baked donut: this is the best version of this kind I've ever tasted. The top was crispy and the blueberry topping, again, was perfect sweetness. We kept a piece of it to try the next day and it was still really good. - maple bacon: I've tasted several versions of maple bacon donut. I can't say this is my fave of all those but still, this is really good! I will definitely come back and try the popular lemon blueberry donut read more

We found this place as a recommendation for our wedding donut wall by Vintage Rose. And O.M.G. I cannot begin to tell you how AMAZING these donuts are. Where they say don't judge a book by it's cover, I mean yeah-- seriously. This place is on a shopping strip that just seems like another donut hole in the wall. Believe me my friend! You have been sleeping on donuts until you have had their donuts. The bread is so light, fluffy and full of goodness! They have these amazing speciality donuts and frankly the tiramisu is my ALL TIME FAVE! The kind you would drive for at 4:30am to make sure you get some. Their donuts was such a hit at our wedding we didn't even get to have some. People were asking us where we got our donuts from it was that good! Simon, I think he is the owner- super sweet and kind. He helped me when I ordered my donuts for the wedding and had great communication up until the day of the wedding. I highly highly highly I means HIGHLY recommend this place. Like I said, you haven't had good donut until you've had their donut. P.s. they run out of their specialty donut so fast, so yes 4:30am donut runs- it's a thing! I gained some weight today and I blame that peanut butter donut I found here this morning. On the outside it looked pretty good to begin with. But I was not prepared for the burst of flavor once I took a bite. This donut was oozing with peanut butter. Hot damm it was good. Too good. One of the best donuts I've had. No lie. There were even more equally delicious donuts available. If they run out of s specific flavor it only takes 3 minutes to make one. The apple fritter as plain as it looked was actually pretty good. P***** Billionaire Orange Dreamsicle Cheesecake!***** Christmas came a little early this morning when I stopped into this unassuming donut shop to get coffee! I was caught off guard and surprised by the beautifully decorated dessert case filled with magical desserts they are calling donuts! ~The Billionaire-5 Stars! Who wants to be a billionaire? Yup me too! Either go buy a lotto ticket or try their chocolate potato, pretzel and peanut donut drizzled with rich caramel! Well, maybe I am not a billionaire but this donut sure tasted like a million bucks! ~Orange Dreamsicle Cheesecake-5 Stars! Do you like cheesecake? Do you like Orange Dreamsicle? Do you like both? One of the most amazingly crafted rich dessert dreamsicle treats I have had! They inject this bad boy with a super rich orange dreamsicle cheescake filling. How many calories you ask? Well it gets worse. They have a very strong and potent Vietnamese cafe sua da here with very rich condensed milk. Wash those calories down with more high calorie caffeinated goodness worth every bit of it! Come early to make sure you get some and for freshness! This is as good as it gets! They have amazing fresh delicious donuts. First visit because of Yelp. I was greeted by Sam the owner. They made the donut fresh for me because they were all out. My favorite is the lemon with blueberries. Delicious lemon flavored icing on top of a soft melt in your mouth donuts. Not too sweet, just perfect! My kids like the maple bacon. I can't believe I have never stopped by this donut shop until today. We were warmly greeted by the owner who helped guide us with our choices. They have a variety of items on their menu aside from donuts. He recommended the Vietnamese coffee - which was delicious! The sausage burrito was made into a low carb version for me by putting the ingredients into a container without the tortilla. The sausage was the bomb and full of flavor. Last but not least we got a berry cheesecake donut & he threw in some extra donuts for free. How sweet is that! I was a fan of the glazed and berry. I didn't love the berry but I definitely liked it! Next time I would order a different donut since there's such a wide range of delicious looking choices. Overall, I had a GREAT experience. The wonderful customer service was the cherry on top of it all :) I did try this place during the pandemic & it is worth noting that they were following CDC Covid-19 guidelines. Check it out next time you're around. read more
