Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the service and pricing. The lady working was pretty rude--she seemed overwhelmed by the crowd, but that's no excuse for poor customer service. To make matters worse, they completely nickel-and-dime you. They actually charged me 55 cents for an empty kids' cup. Seriously? On top of that, their ice cream isn't homemade--it's just generic Hershey's ice cream marked up at high prices. There's a reason it's cheap at the supermarket, and paying premium shop prices for it feels like a rip-off. This shop has only been open for two years, and with this level of service and price-gouging, I'd be surprised if it lasts another two. I definitely don't recommend this place!

There are also dairy free and gluten free options for those with dietary restrictions! COOL ITEM ALERT: forget everything you knew about nachos, because they just took the ultimate sweet twist on a classic! They serve ICE CREAM NACHOS here! Crispy waffle chips dunked in your favorite sauce and a tasty scoop of ice cream is this amazing concoction. One bite and you'll never look at regular nachos the same. Their Belgian waffle was so warm, fluffy and designed with whatever topping I desired. I am dreaming of eating this again. Warm beverages for the winter? Check. Cold beverages for the ones who love an iced drink year round? Double check. They have an espresso machine and tons of drink options. The staff is so friendly and personable. You'll enjoy meeting the owners who are so passionate about their dessert business! This place is stocked with all of your dessert needs. What do you get when you put a Dunkin, a nail salon, an engineering consultant, and a NYC-vibe…read morerestaurant into a suburban strip mall? I can't speak for the first three. But the last one? One hell of a restaurant. By all accounts, a seasonally driven, high-end Italian spot taking 11pm reservations on a Saturday shouldn't exist, let alone thrive, off Route 33. But La Lupa defies the odds and delivers a full-on sucker punch to your taste buds. After finally landing a birthday reservation, my wife and I grabbed a great bottle (thank G-d for BYOB) and made the trip to a place everyone we know has been hyping. Even though our table wasn't ready, La Lupa made an immediate impression: warm welcome, offered to pour our wine while we waited, easy conversation, genuine interest. It set the tone for what might be the best hospitality I've ever experienced. Once seated at the chef's counter, our server walked us through the menu and delivered the specials with as much detail and passion as a thespian recites Hamlet's "To Be or Not To Be". Here's how the meal shook out: Market Crudo (Salmon) - Not traditionally Italian, but the fatty salmon with yuzu and soy was bright, balanced, and a perfect opener. Roman Gnocchi -Heavenly. Full Stop. If Helen's face could launch 1000 ships, this single dish would send the rest of the Greek army to battle. A gnocchi made without potatoes and the perfect elevation of what originally was a peasant dish into something sublime and worthy of a James Beard award. The umami from the mushrooms and brown butter combined with the soft pillowy texture of the semolina dumpling is exquisite and I already know will be one of the best bites I will have all year and its' only April. Tonelli - Leek-forward to a fault. After the gnocchi, this fell flat. The concept is there, but the pasta skewed undercooked and the dish needed something to tie it together. Skirt Steak - A Snake River Farm piece of meat grilled over a binchotan grill...don't mind if I do. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, the chef was able to respect the protein and highlight the beautiful marbling that makes this cut so yumcious. Brussels Sprouts - Not officially a thing (yet), but these should be called Italian Kung Pao sprouts. Hazelnuts for crunch, agrodolce for sweet tang, perfectly cooked. It works. Cacio e Pepe Potatoes - Crisp at dinner but needed more sauce. Reheated, they softened but the flavor came through more. Jury's still out. Was every dish flawless? No. It ranged from good to exceptional. But the service? Bar none, one of the best I've ever had. They've nailed a rare balance: food that could hold its own in a stuffy, pretentious dining room, paired with service that feels like your favorite neighborhood bar. I dropped a napkin--before I could react, it was replaced. Wine was decanted and poured without asking. The staff matched my energy, diving as deep into food talk as I wanted, clearly as excited as we were. If the T-Birds from Grease went into hospitality, this is what it would look like. You can't fake that kind of passion. Most places you try once and return for the service. At La Lupa, you come back for both. We already booked our return visit for our anniversary.

Not my " vibe." It's tight inside. It's loud. Not comfortable…read more The food, ehh. Lot and lots of heavy cheese on everything. And the steak salty, fatty, gamey. They are not accommodating to the customer. The prices are ridiculous. Over rated to say the least.

Prior to visiting this store I had no idea what Concept Sweet was selling. Was it an ice cream…read moreshop? Candy store? Retail? I guess you can say it's a combination of all of these, but if you look at the owners pictures, you weren't sure what you are walking into, because all his pictures are stock photos of what he is selling and you don't actually see the actual store inside and items sold. In a nutshell, Concept Sweet sells what ever the owner wants - ice cream, candy, sweets (some savory), and a variety of cute instagrammable merchandise . The description is very basic, but when you walk into the shop, you see there is much more than that! The ice cream can be served in many different ways. A variety of flavored scoops in a cup, scoop(s) on a cone, on a flavored cone, on a J cone, as ice cream nachos, as Dole whip, on a hot waffle, with or without toppings, with or without accessories, shaped like sushi, as spaghetti, shaped like pizza, etc. It's crazy, I know. They also sell ices, push pops, cake pops, Du's Donuts, chocolates, candies, cookies, cupcakes, and cute merchandise to make a parties more fun. I'm sure I missed something...just look at the Yelp pictures and you can see the 500+ pics the owner posted! There are the usual candies and chocolates you will find at many convenient stores. What's cool about Concept Sweet is that there are many unique sweets you won't find easily locally, such as Pocket Latte Chocolate bars, Pac man Arcade Candy, and Gumby Gummy candy. The owner has put so many unique sweets into this store! This includes the beverages (check out my pics). Another example are donuts from Du's Donuts in Brooklyn, NY., owned by the famous Wylie Dufresne. I actually came in looking to buy these! I purchased 4 Du's Donuts: the lemon matcha, coffee cake, chocolate caramel brownie, and blueberry crumble. I thought they tasted pretty good, but they are not that much better than a Duck Donuts or Broad Street Dough which are priced lower per specialty donut. While we were there, my daughter also ordered a plain scoop of pumpkin ice cream and she said she liked it. Despite the pricing of Du's Donuts, I like Concept Sweet and its er, concept. I didn''t really notice the price after purchasing, but I'm estimating over a couple bucks per - closer to three bucks. There are cheaper donuts but you'd have to drive further to get a specialty donut, especially Du's which is located in Williamburg, Brooklyn! I'm not sure when they get the donuts but they didn't taste stale at all. They even had Halloween donuts available. I'd like to see Concept sweets do well as it seems like the owner is really putting it all into his business. It's a fun store with many unique items. See for yourself!

The owner, Rob, greeted us personally as soon as we came in, and that warmth carried through the entire experience. There is something incredibly rare about a place that combines old-school authenticity with true craftsmanship -- people who genuinely care about their products and are artisans at their craft. The coffee was exceptional, everything felt thoughtfully and beautifully made, and the atmosphere is just something special. It's warm, inviting and comfortable without feeling manufactured or trendy for the sake of being trendy. Old Soul is the kind of place where you genuinely feel welcome -- a place where you can sit down, take a breath, and have a little moment away in time from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There was plenty of parking (a big lot), the service was friendly and fast, and they had wifi for guests to log onto. My cold brew was delicious and would be perfect as my one and only coffee of the day. Next time I will need to try a latte because they looked delicious. I went with 45 women from our development. When you walk into the restaurant, we were greeted warmly from the owner, Katie. Her mom does the cooking and she has a baker who gets there at 5:00 am to start making the breads. Many of their counter displayed - jarred items come directly from their home country. We started out with a savory, fresh salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and thinly sliced red onions. We were served, their classic cheese pie, Khink Ali, which is like a wonton, with 3 types of ground meat, eggplant, beef stew, chicken kabobs and a most delicious dessert. They make everything fresh for you. Nothing was prepared ahead of time. While we were there, Katie, had a video of her country and was explaining pieces of it. This was very intimate, since we took up the whole restaurant.
