Fun, casual spot that has something for whatever vibe you're craving. NA Coffee flights/ boozy coffee flights / whiskey flights - they'll match the donuts to whatever energy you bring for drinks. Some donuts were a lot better than others in my opinion, the boston creme pie was the very best. The sweet swine didn't have enough maple for me and I kind of wish it had been smaller chunks of freshly cooked bacon - but either way we had a great time here. The NA coffee flight was yummy - not for the coffee snob type but overall the coffee paired well with the donuts and the flight board was so cute.
It was a family road trip to Tennessee and before heading into the core of downtown, we made a pit stop for donuts! So glad we gave Distillery a shot. We got the minis and enjoyed some incredible flavors. Service was fast and the vibe was friendly. Loved this place!
So I love the idea, seems like a great place to vibe. However the cashier that was working that day definitely didn't give the energy that she wanted to be there. Very dry, couldn't recommend anything and didn't have much to say when came to my questions about the menu options. I did like that you can literally pick one of each flavor. So here we go. 1. Strawberry Lemonade- literally tasted like lemon was zested on top was definitely a sweet and sour mix. 3/10 2. Reese's - tasted like a old Reese cup was used 2/10 3. Whiskey glaze- didn't taste whiskey at all! 2/10 4. Sweet Swine - go for it!! Enjoyed that little thing 9/10 5. Death by chocolate- if you like chocolate you will enjoy . 8/10 6. Cinnamon Toast Crunch- no crunch just cinnamon, and I was okay with that! 7/10 Overall I'm glad I was able to try multiple flavors and wouldn't mind coming back. But maybe next time I'll have a drink instead

Date of visit: March 14, 2025 This was the meeting spot for our East Nashville Secrets Food Tour but we also needed something small as we reached the Distillery a bit early and decided to try a couple of donuts. When I told staff the reason for our visit, they told me exactly which ones we were going to get on the tour which allowed us to get some other ones, which I appreciated! All around staff were friendly and helpful. We went with the Reese's Peanut Butter, the Strawberry Lemonade, and the Homer D'ohnut. I loved both the Reese's and the Strawberry; the Reese's was served with a warm peanut butter drizzle, which frankly, all donuts should be served with! The Strawberry Lemonade had a surprisingly tasty zing of tartness that I wasn't expecting but I also did not dislike. My husband had the Homer and was a bit underwhelmed by the taste. When the tour started, we received a Fruity Pebbles and a Whiskey donut. We both thought the FP was outstanding but didn't love the Whiskey, not so much because of the taste but that the donut was..well, wet. And that was a bit off-putting to both of us. Next time I am in Nashville I would definitely consider coming to DD again and trying more donuts or some of their fun coffee drinks!

Definitely wouldn't recommend if you are truly hungry. - it's $1 per donut, making it fairly expensive for what you get. - our table lost two screws while we were sitting there and the table nearly collapsed on us. Luckily the people next to us were leaving and we were able to move down. Overall, I'd recommend this place for someone looking for a little snack, or if they're in the area and are looking for some good coffee.
I wonder if they are busier on the weekends... we came on a Friday about noon and got the non-alcoholic coffee flights. The donuts were pretty good. I anticipated not liking rocky road per my flavor preference and I was correct, lol, but the rest were yummy. The chai tea latte was actually our favorite drink. The building/area looks pretty run down and we weren't really greeted warmly or friendly. Just overall "ok". I wouldn't go out of my way to come again, but it wasn't a bad experience by any means.

The Mini Donuts were delicious, but I was bothered because when I ordered them, they served me the wrong donut (with bacon) and I do not eat pork for religious reasons. I asked for them to change the donut out and they removed it, but there was still bacon in the box so I had to remove the donuts touching it.
A first stop on our food tour. We were given two donuts that were incredible and a mimosa. We loved the setting and the food. We look forward to coming back on our next visit to Nashville and try a full sampler. Definitely worth a visit to this unique venue.
The concept of this place is what drew us here. We did go on a Monday so it was empty thus not sure what the vibes of this place are. I would say it could be cleaner and less dingy looking inside. The day we went it was hot out and really hot inside. There was a fan trying to keep this spot cool as the ac wasn't working it seemed. So the concept is definitely cool as I mentioned however we didn't think mimosa pairing was best matches. The cranberry mimosa and strawberry donut we thought was only one with closest pairing that went together. They do have coffee flight and beer flight pairing too.

Finally got to go in and try it out. It was about 30 mins from closing so they didn't seem too thrilled to see me walk in. Anyhow, the shot with the mini donut was cute and delicious. I hate they close at 6 and I get off work at 5. I would try three donut and bet flight. read more

Great mini donuts and space is great. Service was splendid as well but sadly, their coffee left alot to be desired. Ordered a cuban coffee but their coffee missed the coffee in cuban coffee; it just tasted more like flavored milk than coffee. Missed it by a longshot - like TN to Cuba long. Thought it was just me but even the wife's coffee was lightly coffee flavored. Mini donuts were incredibly delicious though. My family and I were visiting Nashville for the weekend and kept driving by this place, so one day on the way back to our Airbnb I decided to pull on in. When I walked in it was very much giving dive bar, and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I loved the neon donut sign on the wall and thought it was a cute place to take pictures. I was created immediately and warmly. When I told the employee that it was my first time being there, she gave me a very thorough run down and made some good suggestions. I decided to check out a dozen minis for us to sample. Anyone who knows me, knows that peanut butter is my life's fuel, so of course I made sure to try the Reese's donut along with the whisky glaze, cinnamon sugar, Boston creme, and sweet swine. The donuts were fresh and we all loved them. The next time I'm in East Nashville I would love to swing by again so that I can try the cocktail and donut pairings they have there. read more

My husband picked us up donuts and coffee from here for our group as it was in walking distance of our AirB&B. The donuts were amazing. He got a 25 pack of the mini donuts. Actually I think they are all miniaturize sized here. Donuts to me aren't worth the calories if they aren't great and these were totally worth it. Some of the standout flavors were the Reese's Cup and the bacon one. My coffee was some type of pumpkin spiced drink and was also good. It is definitely on the pricier side but I enjoyed it and would get it again. read more

This was my first time visiting. People here were very friendly. I wasn't that impressed with the mini donuts. They didn't taste very fresh to me. I assumed they were going to come out warm considering they go to the back to top each donut based on the flavor you choose. Wasn't warm at all. They do have a grab a duck machine in here that I'm sure all the jeep lovers would appreciate. This place is very hometown feeling! You come in and it's like you've known them you're entire life the conversation with the bartender JoJo was flowing, natural and inspiring. Fun concept, average results. This review is for donuts only. Unfortunately, we didn't try any of the boozie drinks, though they did sound good. We got a 12 pack ($12). We tried all the different donuts, except for the Sweet Swine. We got the Dulce de Leche instead. I truly don't think any of us had a favorite flavor. They were all super average. They all have the same base, just different toppings. Their famous Whiskey Glaze donut was disappointing. The Cinnamon Sugar donut should be super hard to mess up, but it had very little flavor. Again, cool concept, but not worth it. Go somewhere else for good donuts. read more

I love these mini sweet treats all by themselves but adding booze takes them to a whole new level. Try adding Baileys to any chocolate flavor like the Reese's and Bavarian crème. The menu itself has a few flight options including the coffee cocktail and donut flight I got (pictured). Each pairing was very tasty and a nice little treat to start the day. We went to the Donut Distillery on a recent trip to Nashville! It was a stop on our Secret Food Tours - East Nashville tour. Such a great vibe! Loved the atmosphere and both donuts we got were incredible. The Whiskey Glaze donut is a Donut Distillery original made with TN whiskey. It was delicious - sweet, austere, soft, and subtle! It had just the right touch of whiskey, where it felt like an elevated glazed donut. My personal favorite was the Frosted Fruity for the nostalgia - it transported me back to being a child and eating my favorite cereal (fruity pebbles) with milk! It was perfectly sweet (without being too sweet). It had the perfect addition of the smooth, vanilla frosting (which wasn't overpowering) and the crunch of the fruit pebbles, which made every bite incredibly fun! I would 1000% come again in the future to try other recipes. read more

Donut distillery is a tasty morning breakfast spot. I've been twice and both times donuts have been warm and coffee tasty. The donut and coffee flight is a great way to try quite a few different flavors and they are paired together for an optimal tasting experience.
