This doughnuts are just delicious, one of the best doughnuts that I have ever try, they are delicious! The staff was really nice and helpful, the place is huge, they have a front yard sitting also that is big, the have clean restrooms and inside there's little nice backgrounds for the ones who enjoy taking nice pictures.

Welp I'm a donut guy now cause I'm hooked on the 100 layer donuts. Think croissant but less butter more cream filled! The donut was light and flakey and the center cream was not overly sweet and very luxurious. We got the King Kong and it had a maple frosting and bacon!!! The overall combo is absolutely addictive!! The execution of this bakery is spot on! I can't wait for another one!

I was so excited to try this place based on how many reviews it has. However, I think I might be missing the hype. The donut was fine. Not my favorite but still pretty good.

Five Daughters has several locations around the city and they are known for their '100-layered' donuts. Naturally, the comparison is going to be similar to a 'cronut'. We stopped by this location after our brunch and I liked the cute and clean aesthetic of the brand and storefront. The cashier was helpful and kind to explain what the most popular donuts were etc. The Purist (Vanilla Glaze) is their classic and most popular donut. The flavor was nice but what I was really intrigued on was the aforementioned '100-layer'. After taking a bite, I didn't really get any unique texture. I have had cronuts before, and something that makes the layers standout, is if the texture is more prominent. Because these donuts were soft, you don't get to appreciate each layer. In contrast to when I've had cronuts with a 'crust/crispy' texture, that is when you really can feel and taste the different layers. The Maple Glaze flavor I enjoyed a bit more but overall it still had the same 'layer-texture' as the other.

I've had this place bookmarked on yelp for at least five years. And I'm not sure if this is the same location that they were that they used to be in I can't remember. But my daughter and I were staying in a hotel in Nashville, driving across country and it was kind of later in the evening and we decided that we needed to get some cookies or donuts or something for in the morning and for on the road because we had about 800 miles to cover the next day. So I checked yelp saw this and decided to give it a try. I'm glad there was parking in the back that was a plus for us because we were driving a car that I was unfamiliar with in parallel parking. It was going to be a challenge. Once we entered in Immediately helped as we were the only customers we got some pastries and left easy Peezy. We decided to have one treat that night and save the rest for the next day.

We got the Nutella cinnamon bun which was delicious but relied heavily on the Nutella for flavor. The cinnamon bun supposedly used the same dough as the donuts but wasn't very flakey. Service was fast and there was no line.

Had the vanilla creme which is the most popular flavor and a chocolate sprinkle. I enjoyed the vanilla creme for the most part but it could have used a more authentic vanilla flavor either way vanilla beans. Service wise, the attendant had an interesting approach. This was my first time there, no other customers in the store, didn't really help or try to explain any of the flavors. Another woman came in, she didn't even ask any questions and he was going through all the flavors explaining. Since my husband who was sick was promised a donut, I didn't walk out and just got 2 donuts, but wouldn't go back

Omg, I am still craving these donuts a week later and wish we had a location in Atlanta. These are probably the best donuts I've ever had. I started with a few mini ones and I liked them so much I came back and ordered the large size. They have croissant-type layering so that they are nice and flaky. Everything was moist and delicious! The purist, & gingerbread latte were my favorite! My husband liked the one with bacon and was delighted to see it was cream-filled (King Kong?). The spiced honey cheesecake was a little too sweet because it had so much icing, but it was delicious. Service was excellent, and I loved the decor inside the place as well as the donut paintings on the outside. If I lived close by I would be here weekly

We are in town for the first time. Really cute vibes. I've never had a doughnut croissant mix before. Love the cute colors and time spent on a theme. Quick service, all smiles. We tried 4 kinds of donuts, all fantastic! We'll probably come again in the morning! Ha

5 daughters is always SUCH a treat! If friends come to visit I take them here. I love their rotating flavors and always appreciate how fresh each donut is. The service is amazing and fast even with a crowd. The 12 south location has a few indoor seats and lots of space outdoors (pro tip sit outdoors and get a pic with their cute mural!)

My friend and I stopped in while visiting 12 South and I was thrilled that they had gluten free options. The chocolate chip sea salt donut was absolutely delicious! I took one bite just to try it, but ended up eating it all within seconds. Yum!

This is my favorite place to pick up some sweets in Nashville. Their donuts are so unique and delicious with so many selections to choose from. They have their own parking lot which is convenient. Staff are always friendly and your donuts will come in their cute boxes. They also have few cute seating options outside.

DONUT MISS OUT on Five Daughters when in Nashville! We have a location in Atlanta now, but I had to stop by the original... especially on National Donut Day! Everyone inside was super friendly and they let us walk through with the pup on a tight leash. We decided to order the strawberry shortcake donut (with ALL the 100 layers) and the strawberry glazed yeast raised donut because we were just in a summery mood. Both were excellent - although I will probably stick to their Cronut style donuts next time! The yeast raised donuts were necessarily stand out/memorable but those layered donuts are life changing!

There was a line when we arrived, but it wasn't so bad. It moved by pretty quickly. While in line, you bypass all the pastries displayed behind the glass and they looked beautiful! Everything looked amazing. I ended up ordering the Twice Baked Croissant and the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich. The Twice Baked Croissant was just incredible. It had pistachios on top, a pistachio cream inside, and also a cherry or raspberry jam inside too. I love pistachios, and the pistachio cream inside was so light, creamy, delicate, but flavorful. I absolutely loved all the different textures. The croissant was airy and fluffy inside, and the outside had a nice flaky exterior. And the fruit jam inside complemented the pistachio cream very well, it added a nice sweetness that blended well with the cream. For me, it tied the whole thing together. I will definitely be thinking of this pastry when I think of pistachio croissants. And for the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich? Wow. I didn't know what to expect, but it was much larger than I anticipated. It was tall, like when I was bringing it to the table the top part of the bun almost fell off my plate because it had height. The fried chicken piece was great: juicy and had a nice golden color. It was crispy and also quite large for a chicken piece.. All the components about it were executed well: the fried chicken, the coleslaw! (i'm a coleslaw fanatic), and the sauce inside the sandwich was wonderful. Also last but not least, the fried egg too? Wow. I love a good runny egg. I'm not exaggerating, I was drenching the pieces of my sandwich in the sauce on my plate. It was just that good. Genuinely, I couldn't believe I finished that sandwich because it was very filling and that fried chicken piece was huge! Service was fast and friendly, I liked interacting with them. It is pretty small inside and we came on a weekend so it was busy and packed. We were lucky to snag a small table but it was difficult to find seating when we got our food. All in all, I'm so happy we came here. Yes it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The quality is clearly there and showed up through everything we got. I had such a memorable time, thank you for taking care of us!

The fondant version is what we got complete with mis-spelling and child like painted on details. After notifying Kelly that we were not happy with the presentation she proceeded to text a bunch of photos of cakes she's done that turned out great, incessantly defending her sub-par work. She blamed the extreme heat for inability to complete as ordered, they tried putting it in the freezer to keep it cold but just too hot out. She said she would have directed us differently as far as type of cake decor if she had known the weather would be so hot- we ordered this cake far in advance and the the heat wave was anticipated days before we arrived. It really just seems like the type of detail we wanted was not something this bakery is capable of doing. We had the cake delivered to the house before we got there which was super convenient. Only got concerned with this after Kelly told us to make sure to lock our doors at night since we were in a "bad" neighborhood. Since the bakery had the code to our doors and she was texting this late at night, this comment was received as threatening and we became concerned for our safety. The customer service and service recovery is something this bakery really needs to work on, we will NEVER be working with them again. Only positives... She did acknowledge that the order looked very rushed and gave us 10% refund. The cake tasted great, but just not worth the money in my opinion.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
