BEST Liquor Store Ever. First - the display is a work of ART, such a beautiful display. Then, Service was excellent- great suggestions as I dont drink often and really wanted great taste and something to keep me warm. Kero made us feel welcome immediately, we are visiting from AZ and will plan a daily visit to our new friend. Love this Place... read more

Now I see why there are so many reviews about horrible customer service. I called asking for the prices of a large Patron and the rude unintelligible man on the phone told me they don't give prices over the phone. When I started to ask if they have their prices online, he hung up on me. Definitely will never visit. read more

Ran in for alcohol refreshments. A little pricey in here honestly. Store is clean and kept tidy. The worker was friendly!

Ridiculous rip off store. Don't recommend at all. After I wouldn't pay a 500% up charge on a bottle, another guy in back came out to try and negotiate. They're just trying to rip off tourists. read more

Clean and welcoming cozy Wine, Beer, and Liquor store that offers more items and is located in the Gulch. Nice selection of alcoholic beverages, mixers, candy bars, chips, very friendly staff and the prices are in line with high traffic tourist areas across the country. read more

The store is not the same since Ernie left. Then, I was always greeted by a smiling good day. This was not the case the other morning when I popped in for a pint. The attitude verged on being surly. And their prices; it seems that they are catering to the tourists that don't have a clue as to what is available. Frugal Macdoogol isn't that far away, they have a better selection and people are much more friendly. I'll not grace the doorstep of 12th and Pine again, even though it is convenient. read more

Horribly overpriced. Charged my daughter $134 for a bottle of eagle rare!. I've never seen it over $75. She wanted to surprise her dad with a couple of bottles (we can't get up north but could have shipped it for cheaper) by the time she realized how much she spent it was too late. wish she read reviews before she went there. They seem to be known for over charging. read more

Friendly and helpful staff, a quick stop for grabbing what you need for time with your friends or a special dinner wine.

The cashier was very nice. The store was very clean and easy to find whatever you might be looking for. The prices were decent too!

Great people...great selection of whiskey...loved the whiskey that they produce 12th and Pine Tennessee Wiskey... it was really good. Hope I can have them ship some to me. read more

I really wasn't searching for a wine shop, but I was happy have found one. I was the DD for the day, taking my husband on a brewery tour and someone recommended Hops and Crafts Taproom. I found a metered parking spot right out front. Then I was happy to find this gem right next door. This place is apparently new and sure to catch on soon. I was immediately greeted by a nice gentleman who showed me right to the Napa Valley recommendation. They weren't all in the same spot, but he knew right where his recommendations were. He asked about my blend preference and explained why he would recommend one over the other. You're probably thinking that such a place to have such awesome customer service would charge at least $50 per bottle of wine, right? No. The wine that he recommended was around $15! So, I got two. Don't get me wrong, they carry $50+ bottles of wines, but I was specific about what I was looking for. It looks to be exclusively a wine shop at first glance, I spotted cigars and craft beer, so naturally my husband made his way over after his taproom visit. He got a cigar for around $6 and a fifth of IPL. I'd never heard of IPL... now I have. read more

12th and Pine - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

The staff at 12th and Pine know their wines. Period. Unlike some high end wine shops, this one makes you feel at ease asking questions and setting price points. There's no judgement if you are looking for a bottle at $12.99 and they always give me perfect recommendations when I want something in particular. The space isn't huge but it has a nice selection and some spirits as well! read more

Unless you are an American white male they will not sell to you. My husband called to check if several items were in stock and the man said yes. When I walked in (Spanish female) he said it was just sold. It was 5 minutes between the call and us arriving. Was not as helpful once he saw my skin. read more

Such a friendly and welcoming shop! My BFF was on the hunt for a specific beer she'd had elsewhere in Tennessee, so we walked over after having breakfast in the shopping center nearby. The presumable owner greeted us right away and was helpful in pointing us to the Blackberry Farm variety he had on hand, conveniently in cans instead of their fancier large format bottles. She wasn't able to find the specific brew she wanted, but grabbed the one they had to give it a whirl. I come from the land of beer, so the variety felt a bit limited, but the service and knowledge were top-notch. Definitely worth hitting up if you want some consumable souvenirs or need to stock your fridge! read more

I recently sampled a bottle of the best rose that I have encountered..."AND WHY AM I MR PINK.". If you like your wine sugary sweet, this is not the one for you. Keep It Chill is a dry red with 0g residual sugar. GREAT WINE FOR A SUMMER NIGHT ON THE DECK! read more

I'm always partial to great liquor stores and 12th and Pine is a new standout. Run by a guy who knows this town as well as he knows wine and spirits, this place should be any downtown dwellers go to. While small by any standard, 12th and Pine still manages to have a solid selection of what i care most about - bourbon. I'm sure their wine and gin selection is great as well (Ed Fryer is supposed to be some uber wine maven), but i was impressed at what a nice selection of nice bourbons the shelves were stocked with. Just as good, the process were quite nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi to Ed - you'll be glad you did. read more

Great spot. Fun finds. Clerk is a bonus cause he's midwestern, polite, a knowledgeable person, and taller than you

Wow. This place is amazing. I walked in today, and felt so at home. Ernie runs the shop, and he is a kind soul. I was able to ask questions and seek recommendations without fear! Considering I am not even close to knowledgeable on wines and spirits, I was glad to be treated so well. Ernie recommended many amazing wines in my price range, and though I didn't think I would, I left with a white wine that separates every four rows of grapes with oranges. Wow! It's a mimosa ready to go, essentially! Had it with breakfast, but Ernie also recommended it with dark chocolate. Life complete. I don't see why I would avoid being a regular customer here. The selection is fantastic, with a price range to fit most any need, but you can bet the quality of wines and spirits is amazing. You don't feel like this is just a typical run for a bottle of wine; it's an experience that, quite honestly, made my day so much better. This place made me want to be a regular customer without imposing it on me: they just do business with love for people and wines and spirits. Heck yes :) read more

Zero stars if it was possible. Rude clerk, terrible service. We went in trying to get a bottle of wine and refused to let us purchase anything while completely sober. read more

Friendly staff, knowledgeable about bourbons & whiskey without being pretentious. Convenient location and good late night hours

If you're hanging around the Gulch area and want some top notch wine, spirits, and killer craft beer finds, this is the place to go! The people there are very knowledgeable and polite and will help you find exactly what you are looking for. Super convenient. You'll especially want to see the particularly tall gentleman who works there. Say hi and chat a spell! read more

Absolutely fantastic place with the all time best atmosphere. Our group was suffering from a case of headaches and upset stomachs and Ernie prescribed a drink to fix us right up. Highly recommend! read more

Not a good place. Whoever was working extremely rude and really to be blunt an asshole. You always treat your customers well especially when they are good people. Not a good look 12th and Pine. Zero stars if we could. read more

Very rude. Looked threw the selection and then when I went to pay and he was really nice up until I pulled my change purse out of my bra and took my money out of my change purse and he refused to take my 40$ because he has a " strict policy of not taking money out of underwear" were his exact words. I was taken back a little, so I took my credit card out and he still refused to take my money, because I had already "disgusted him enough" very very very rude man. I think his new is Terry. I dont recommend this store to anyone who has any self worth. Cause this man is quick to tear u down! read more

The gentleman who helped us pick a bottle of bourbon is very hospitable, the selection was great and so were the prices!

The Boston beer scene is pretty stellar, but even I was impressed with a few rarities I found here at 12th and Pine in Nashville including a couple imperial stouts from Prairie (including BOMB!) and Lagunitas' High West-ified Imperial Coffee Stout. To top it off, Terry was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We chatted for some time and he even sent me a list of recommendations in the Nashville area for the remainder of my vacation. Go here, enjoy the selection and the conversation, and spend your money! read more

The staff there is super awesome and super helpful in picking out the right drink for a special occasion.

Ed was so helpful!!! I highly recommend talking to the staff before you purchase what you "normally" would get. I told him my price range and he picked the perfect wines and a bow to match since I was giving them as housewarming gifts! read more

This was the best liquor store I have ever been in. We were doing the pedal tavern which is BYOB and had limited time to get all the alcohol/drinks people wanted. Thankfully, we walked in and the owner was super helpful. He showed us all our options (all of us like different things) and was very patient with us as the indecisiveness was in full force. They had lots of cool ciders, spritzers, and beer options and even mini champagne bottles (as we were celebrating my birthday). They also had hangover shots that I have yet to take, and secretly hoping I never need to take (but still cool that they had it). We spent about 20 minutes in there trying to decide between all our options and ended up walking out as very satisfied customers that fully enjoyed our pedal tavern BYOB. read more

I am not a paid advertiser or a family member of anyone associated with 12th & Pine. I've been Ed's customer ever since he owned the Wine Shoppe in Green Hills. I am an attorney in Nashville and enjoy buying and serving good wine to my guests. Ed is my go-to merchant. I wrote a review that was honest and detailed. Yelp decided that my glowing review must have come from a paid advertiser. Actually, this was done through software analysis, not by the judgment of a human being. Please read my review under the "not recommended" section. I'm trying to figure out how to get Yelp to fix this. read more

Very unique beer selection. The prices were great. I wish I had found this sooner! I tried the Jacks Hard Cider, Peach flavor. Delicious!

Solid beer selection with great prices. Good place if you want to buy singles; you can buy singles from many of the six packs and they are actually priced nicely. read more

Great selection and knowledgeable staff! Will be back for sure. It's nice to be able to create your own variety 6 pack, don't like being forced to buy six of the same beer. Also, they have 1816 Chattanooga Whiskey!!!! read more

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I have never met the rudest person in my entire life. My friends and I were happy to spend a ton of money on alcohol and I'm so sad this was my experience. The sales person is so excruciatingly rude, I have no word to even describe more. If you are ever in Nashville please please please do not go to this store. Horrible!!! read more

Absolutely amazing place! I can't say enough about how kind and knowledgeable the staff is. They are always accommodating and will often try to get a product for you if they don't currently have it. I have never had so much as an inkling of a bad experience here and don't know how any reasonable person would. Plus they have an incredible selection and the store itself is cute and smells like oak and bourbon! A++++ place! read more
