My personal favorite macaroni salad that I've ever had (slightly sweet), and a nice salad and jalapeños to match. The mashed potatoes are slightly flavorless which actually works cause it absorbs the flavor of everything else, so I won't dock it points for that, though I know some people who would. It isn't what it used to be, prices went up and food isn't fully cooked. If I'm paying 20+ for a plate it should be done well. The ribs in my combo plate tonight were raw. I noticed when my 2 year old went in for a bit and couldn't rib the meat apart. As chef Ramsay would say, " it's raw, you donkey! ". They need to do better. read more

Gave this spot another chance, been coming here again and the food seems better now. A different cashier attended me today. She repeated the order twice and got it right. Getting home, one of plates had lettuce instead of Mac salad like ordered for both. My bf drove back and notified her politely. The cashier started being rude saying I didn't tell her about the sides when the other plate was completely correct. We thought it was a mistake of theirs, but she made it seem like it was our fault. The loss of a star was due to the price increases. I come here often and order the EXACT same thing every single time. My order total is always $36.50. The plates I get are usually $12.00 and $19.00, I added extra chicken for what used to be $3.50 and get an extra side of rice. Today my order was $47.50! My $19.00 plate went up to $25.00. $12.00 plate is now $14.00(actually not bad for this one) the extra chicken is now $6.50. Are you joking? I love this place. The food is good but not that great for $50. I could've went to sit at a restaurant and be served, not have a shitty attitude in the person taking my order and then have to wait a ton of time for my food. I love you teriyaki, but you overdid it with the price increase. I get inflation and all, but this feels like price gouging at this point. read more

Great place to get an affordable and delicious homemade meal. I've been coming here since I was in middle school I am 20 now. Great staple meal for any age. The chicken plate is my favorite ( comes with chiwhite rice, mashed potatoes, macaroni, and a salad ). Highly recommend to anyone in the area. This places is always so good. They were doing some remodeling when I came back out to visit but I found their food truck on PCH by their liquor store. This one is so good and is always a great meal after the gym. I always do the rib and chicken plate. Always great food and great service. I always get #1 with all rice, which consist of a good size portion of Teriyaki chicken and white rice this plate usually comes with a "salad" its just a few pieces of lettuce so I always just ask for all rice, it's pretty cheap $3.80 for #1. I really like the Teriyaki from here because of the Teriyaki sauce its not to watery nor too sweet its just right.
