Needed snow chain advice and in stock at a last moment notice. Fit perfectly, no fuss no drama at decent competitive pricing. Happy customers, thank you. read more

I was looking for a tool, lone behold, they had it. From sockets, to wrenches, to the auto parts that you need. If they don't have it, they can order it. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Being on the mountain, there are not too many places to get auto parts, this place, however, seems to be one of the best read more

This is what you think of when you think old school Mom and Pop American Shop. You walk in and you're greeted by multiple knowledgeable dudes that ask how they can help. All of them know not only the store inventory but the know-how of what it takes to complete your job. The prices are right. They're quick to come out to your vehicle in the parking lot and assess your situation. This is a long time Lake Arrowhead business that deserves our support. read more

Presswork for bearings. quality work and great customer service! Great to have up on the mountain.

Needed a battery for a vintage car and wasn't sure they would have it. Not only did they have it- they also brought it out to my truck (so I wouldn't have to carry it). Saved me a trip down the hill and price was competitive and fair too. Thanks! read more

Great place. Super helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Prices are really good. Don't expect because it on the mountain that you will pay more here. They are very fair across the board and a lot of items are better priced than the big chain stores. Wheel bearings for my 06 Yukon were 30% less than AZ and they don't sell bad quality junk here. They turn drums and rotors and can help with press service too and reasonable prices. read more

I came here yesterday after visiting lake Arrowhead for the day. Unfortunately my driver's side windshield wiper broke and luckily someone mentioned dons auto supply which was only a few minutes away. It was snowing heavily and impairing my vision so I was glad to find out that they had just what I needed. As I walked in I was greeted by all the guys at the counter who were very helpful in helping me decide which wiper I needed for my vehicle. Shaun (I believe that's what his name was) was quick to help me and installed the wiper himself. Thanks to these guys I was able to safely drive down the mountain. Honestly it's the friendliest auto supply store I've been to. I highly recommend Don's auto supply if you're in need of anything auto related! read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to Dan and the staff down at Dons Auto Supply. I had a long list of Jeep projects to handle over the winter and I think I about drove them an their staff a little crazy since my Jeep is 40 years old and parts can be hard to find. They had to put up with lots of questions and do lots of research on a regular basis over the last several months. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! THANKS EVERYONE AT DONS AUTO! read more

This local shop is the best. Staff is always willing to help me find the part or product I'm looking for. They stay open based on their posted hours. Even during a winter storm, Dan tries to keep the store open so we can get any needed parts to keep our snowblowers, cars, etc, running. read more

I've been doing business at Dons for over 20 years. Without question, Dons has always been my go to parts store. I've come to expect nothing but excellent service, advice and availability from every person at the parts counter. I consider their business a role model not only for other parts store but for other businesses in our small mountain resort. They get my 100% approval rating and that's over 20 years worth of perfection. read more

Very helpful in picking out chains for our cars as we just moved up to the mountains in December.

Wow~ this place is a gem!!! Small in size but mighty as can be; full time residents here at Lake Arrowhead my husband needed some parts for his truck and did not want to drive down the hill. He decided to give Don's Auto Supply a try. My husband was impressed with the staff and their customer service. I myself popped in for a few quarts of oil and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the staff was. Today, my husband dropped off his rotors to be turned. They told him they would be ready in a hour and the charge was reasonable. Hands down to the great job Don's Auto Supply provides to it's customers. I would highly recommend giving this place your business and trust!! Great job guys!!! and gals!!! read more

Every time I've gone to this auto parts supply they have exactly what I need. And the prices are more than fair

Was having issues with my starter that I bought here a couple years ago. I paid for another one since I couldn't find my receipt for the warranty. After installing it and brought the core back for the deposit and explained that I had bought this one and ask if they would still warranty it. The manager looked at it and took care of me with no issues. What a great experience. No need to drive down the hill to an auto parts store when we have this one up here. read more

This store is AWESOME. Don's has a great selection of auto stuff and (desperately important to us at the time) tire chains, takes credit cards, doesn't gouge and he was helpful. Don, if you read your reviews- Thank You. read more

The availability or parts is great; however, I had them replace two, non pressed needle bearings in a supercharger, I gave them the bearings, and it was $80. Excessive!! Won't use them for anything other than parts. read more

My first time as a customer and I was very impress with the customer service and the store set up. From the outside looks like a small place but once you walk inside is much bigger and has a well stocked area to walk around and pick up commonly used items. I purchased a set of break pads and they were a perfect fit and the price was reasonable. It beats driving downhill to purchase spare parts. read more

Had to get my windshield wipers replaced, and Claude was amazing! He helped me pop my old ones off and put my new ones on. I tried to tip him and he replied, "Thank you, but it's my job." I walked in here a while back for oil. Was told by the boy working up front that my oil didn't exist, told them I'd be happy to take a picture of my oil cap to show them that it does indeed exist, as I walk out the boy and other guy working there mocked me. Saying "women know nothing about cars". I took my business to the auto parts store in Crestline where the gentlemen happily gave me the oil I asked for. Called my step dad, who taught me everything I know about cars, about this because he had been going here for years. Him and I haven't been back since. They could've made a lot from him because he has many expense cars and he's always working on them, but their lose. Moral of the story: Don't be sexist read more

Don's auto supply sold me the wrong snow chains for my vehicle and then would not exchange to the correct chains. Rip off of my money to have a product I cannot use. They are not customer friendly and put their bottom line first. I complained to my bank about this situation. Don't go there unless you want poor customer service and possibly get the wrong part, despite providing them with your vehicle info three times to confirm. read more

DON'S AUTO SUPPLY was recommended to me by another Rim Forest community business for a problem with the hinge on my pick-up truck's 11 year old camper shell. I walked in, explained my problem to Don, in 90 seconds he hatched a solution, took the broken parts out of my hand, went in back and returned with something he had made (both old and new parts) that fit perfectly to solve my problem...and all for around $1 (I left him $2). Plus, I got to meet his wife and "Coco," the shop's security supervisor (an older female Dachshund). I believe his son(s) were also working there, a family owned and operated local business. Another great experience at a Rim Forest business (no reason to go to the valley - shop the mountains FIRST). read more

The best service from an auto parts store you can ever expect. And they're not limited to just autos and trucks. Boats and even custom wiring (light duty solar application in my case) harnesses!
