Camping nearby and went to start my car--battery was dead. After AAA jumped it, they said batteries aren't sold up here by AAA. Looked up local places and am so happy I found Sarellano Garage! Fortunately, they had the battery for my vehicle in stock. After testing on FOUR separate devices, they showed me that it was in fact a battery issue and not the alternator (which did show up as a possible issue on one device). The gentleman who helped me was Rodney and I couldn't be happier with how thorough and conscientious he was. I will definitely support this business with at least fuel purchases next time I am in town. read more

I love this Garage! Pedro and his Guys are the BEST! I bring my car here for every service and they work on it and the job comes out perfect and his prices are extremely reasonable plus I don't have to drive DTH! read more

Pedro is unprofessional and incredibly misogynistic towards women. First, he screwed up the job, and I had to return my car, as it was making a dangerous grinding noise and didn't run correctly, after being charged over six hundred dollars. So, I return it. He repairs it and doesn't apologize. Now, the car has a new issue, one he refused to take credit for and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. If you're a woman, go elsewhere. There is a mechanic in Twin Peaks. I should have gone there. What a mistake I won't make again. read more

Extremely professional I brought my 23 year old car in after it overheated, and they took wonderful care of it, I have no problem recommending them to all family as well as friends read more

I've continued to return to Sarellano over and over. Simply put: Roberto is a caring and genuine owner - all of his employees are very nice and work hard. It may appear as a small-time garage, but they operate at a high-level and the few times I've asked for a second-look on their work, they're always happy to comply. Also a great place to purchase tires and wheels! Awesome job on my jeep! read more

Sarellano Garage - Auto Repair Near Me

They can do it all as far as repairs go. Great prices friendly service. They will go the extra mile for you

Mechanic doesn't guarantee his work. Took my car for major repairs and they put a long scratch and dents on the passenger side. He said he was gonna fix it but never called me to get it done. I have to use my own insurance to fix his damage. Don't use this liar or your car can get damaged. read more

These guys are great! I was a customer back when this place was still cedar glen auto, and Roberto is doing awesome work expanding the place. Got a new (to me) truck recently and thwy pretty much tore it apart and rebuild everything that touches the ground on it. Roberto did a fantastic job installing a lift kit on it, along with new shocks/struts, breaks, an axle and aligned it all perfectly. Even went so far as to shave down bits of the lift kit to get the car to sit right on it all. If you need a lift kit installed.. roberto knows whats up. Was a very fair price for all this work, and turnaround was very fast. I love the new notification system aswell. Keep up the good work guys! read more

This place is great. One of the few service shops to answer their phone and actually provide service. We ordered our snow tires from Sarellano Garage. We got a great price for both the tires and labor. Super friendly, personable and professional. Most importantly, I find Sarellano Garage to be honest and ethical. read more

i get better service at the ford dealership and a better price for the work on my truck

Stear away from this place - not honest. Incompetent estimate to lure client and extra 50% on top as surprise. read more

New owners are Great! very quick and reasonably priced. have taken all of our family vehicles there for minor issues which were handled perfectly. read more

Great guys local. Very reliable. These guys always take care of us. From oil changes to breaks

Roberto knew he'd never make any money selling gas for my wife's Tesla, but that didn't stop him from helping her with a tire that was slowly losing pressure. He found a screw and removed and plugged it so she could continue driving safely until the tire could be replaced by Tesla. We could have waited for hours, but Roberto got on it right away so we could enjoy the rest of the day without worrying about a flat tire. It is so nice to have an honest car repair facility in this remote location. read more

Outstanding service. Professional and always on time. Friendly and explain all that needs to be done. Had my car serviced for years when it was the Cedar Glen Gas Stop. Appointments made and confirmed by computer. Reminders sent. Work done on time What more can I say. Great people and reliable. Reasonable rates. read more

They are honest and fairly priced! Roberto is genuine and will tell you exactly what's needed without trying to pile on unnecessary expenses. Thus far, I have done have done oil change & they found I needed a belt replaced around the engine & got it done quickly. I recently had brakes done & a tire replacement. They pointed out a bubble on my tire from the potholes up here, which can be potentially dangerous as tire may explode!! Highly recommend. read more

Vacationing with the family at Cedar Glen and we woke up to one of our tires with no air. Fortunately, Sarallano Garage was nearby and they got right on plugging the tire and getting us back to our vacation. Shout out to Jesus and the entire crew! Quick, fairly priced: highly recommended! read more

On two separate occasions I had to have small repairs made (getting a nail dislodged from my tire and replacing a brake light). Due to my work schedule, I was only able to stop by the shop with 30 minutes left until closing. Despite the small amount of time I gave them, as well as the large number of other cars being serviced, my repairs were attended to immediately. And speaking for anyone who needs small repairs done, they're super cheap too! read more

Sarellano garage repaired my Ford F-150 pickup truck on a late Friday afternoon when no other repair shop on the mountain was was willing or able to do the job. Pedro answered the phone at around 4:30 p.m., believe it or not, and said to bring my truck by the shop for diagnosis, even though I was towing a 27' camping trailer (another story), but they probably wouldn't be able to do the repair. At any rate, not only did they diagnose the problem (bad coil on cylinder #2), but father Sarellano DID the repair on the spot, even though he had to order the part. I was in and out of there in half an hour and was charged a very reasonable price. Sarellano Garage is now my go-to place for auto repairs at all times. Courteous, friendly, prompt, reasonable prices, and I like the location. read more

Made an appointment for Wednesday 8/18/21 waited for call all day, I called shop and no Answer. I drove to the garage at 4:30 and the mechanic had just put it on the lift, he said can you get in and hit the gas so I can watch the universal joint? So I did, he than says yep that's probably it. I said ok can you give me an estimate? He says yep tomorrow morning when Bill my boss is here, thursday 8/19 no call I call the shop 1pm as no one again called me. I drive over again and am told yeah boss says he does not want to deal with it? No respect for your time 2 days and no call Dont be fooled by friends posting good reviews this place is horrible read more

Bill and Roberto are fabulous!!! They have taken such great care of us! In 1 short week we had a side mirror on our Corolla needing replacement which they promptly placed on their schedule and fixed within an hour... then our older jeep had a parking brake issue we took it in and Bill let us know we didn't need a new parking break it simply needed to be tightened again done super quickly... 2 days later my battery light went on and we found out we needed an alternator. They not only had the new alternator brought up the mountain within 2 hours but replaced before the end of the day AND I had brought the car in late morning to begin with! I'm so happy with the wonderful HONEST service. Great mechanics for any location NOT JUST our little mountain. Thanks guys! read more

I had my starter go out while in San Bernardino and towed to Cedar Glen Auto Care. Bill couldn't get to it right away but gave me an estimate for the repair. A day later I got a call from him saying he had good news; It turned out to be just a bad battery connection. He charged me for the time and I was off and rolling along. I feel confident bringing my car to Bill in the future. read more

Amazing service from Bill! If I did not live in LA I would bring my car here, and only here. Fast, honest, kind, I cannot say enough good things about my experience there. read more

Bill and Roberto are great honest mechanics. I have come to them a few times with emergencies, and they always go the extra mile to get me rolling in a timely manner, at a price that is fair. Thank you guys, I look forward to doing continuous business with you in the future. read more

Customer service is excellent. Our mechanic, Adam, was superior.

It is super frustrating dealing with auto mechanics as a woman. They assume they can take advantage of you. This place is slimey. I called on the phone to get a quote for replacing my front and rear brakes as well as getting my disc resurfaced. I was quoted $115 for the job, labor only because I have the parts myself. A little pricey for relatively easy job, but i just wanted to get it done so I agreed. I showed up to drop off my car and suddenly the price jumps from $115 to $225 because "he thought i just wanted my front brakes done" when I clearly remember him asking me if my back breaks were drums or not (they're not) to get an accurate pricing. Excuse me? I don't even understand where that price comes from. It's a tactic I've unfortunately run into before with terrible auto mechanics in the past trying to take advantage of me because I'm a woman and shouldn't know how much something should cost. Take your business elsewhere like I did. read more

Bill has been my family mechanic for years. I appreciate knowing that he truly cares about my family's safety. There is rarely a time he can't fix something but when he can't he has always referred me to someone just as trustworthy as he is. read more

We had an alternator failure on Sunday and needed to get our daughter back to the airport on Tuesday. Went to Bill first thing Monday morning and he said he was already slammed with business. Realizing our plight, he went out of his way to get our car done by early afternoon. Bill and Roberto are such good, honest mechanics and we are so lucky that they are right here in Lake Arrowhead. Thanks for the extra consideration and great service, guys! read more

Cedar Glen Auto Care is top notch! Bill is a no BS mechanic. I expected the worst and Bill fixed my vehicle in just 3 hours. It was my error but he didn't feed off that and make me pay an extensive repair bill that wasn't needed. The bolt just needed a little more torque and all was fixed, for cheap! I will be back if it's ever needed. Thanks Bill and Roberto! read more

For $20 Bill and his hispanic assistant removed a screeching thumbsize black cinder lodged in the driver's side front disc brake between the rotor and backing plate. I thought my clutch was going out which would have cost about $950.I had tried to troubleshoot the racket myself but couldn't since it was only heard when I was driving. Yes they are very honest. What really blew me away is that the Lake Arrowhead area publishes a 15 page newspaper about safe winter driving and stores to get winter supplies yet they don't warn us about the black cinder chunks getting lodged in our brakes. I personally knew of one other person who lived in my area with a screeching truck but didn't know what was wrong either. He had a mobile mechanic help him. The screeching sound is so unnerving it could easily cause an accident from panicking. Bill said this often happens to honda and subaru cars. read more
