I would NOT go here for anything other than tires !! It is not a mechanic shop !! Brought my car in as stated on the phone to have it inspected to see if there were any issues since it was a newer used car and wanted to make sure there were no issues since it's going to being going out of state. They did not even do anything other than a drive test hooked up OBD reader, didn't even remo e a tire to check the rakes and rotors like I asked and did something in my back seat for what I can not understand. Gave me a lose diagnosis with no estimates and sent me on my way after adding more to the bill then was stated on the phone as well. They charge $3.75 just to use your CC . I took it to someone else and what they said was wrong with it was all wrong except 1 they got right (1 out of 5 ) unless you speak Spanish it's hard to communicate with them . Was really unsatisfied with the service and would NOT recommend !!! read more

I brought my car in for them to replace the tire that I had ordered ahead of time. I was really upset because it was the second time I needed to replace this tire and it was very expensive. We were up at our cabin and had not used this shop before and they were able to get the tire ordered next day. When we brought the car in, they looked at the tire with the nail in it and came in saying you don't need a whole new tire, we can just fix this. They saved us 300+ dollars! They could've just given us the new tire and I wouldn't have known any different. they are incredibly gracious and we would absolutely use them again! read more

I needed an oil change that same day so I called and they were open. Now I see why. Whoever did it way overtightened my drain plug and shoved a bunch of silicone sealant up in the hole!!!! WTF???? Why??? Now I see why they had space and time for a same-day oil change... If you need service for your car take it to Don's Auto right down the street- way better service and skill. They tried to say it was my fault that I choose them to put my brand new rims straight out box on my car and they messed it up. They stripped almost all the thread from inside the rim and melted together one of the lug nuts to wheel rod from over tightening so it had to be broken off. read more

They had my husband's Jeep for over a month for some very small fixes, which was absurd. They also add a ton of unnecessary work to their quotes, and will still charge you that amount EVEN IF THEY DON'T DO THE WORK. We had employees promise us that the final price wasn't even close to $1,000 but when we showed up to pick up the Jeep they wanted nearly $1,400. They don't honor their prices nor their quotes and it seems that they just make up a nice, big number for your final price. Then they'll threaten to keep your car if you don't pay that amount. These people are just nasty. My husband had to clear out our savings account AND give them a gift card that we got for Christmas just to have his car back. He needs his Jeep for work so we really didn't have a choice. They would have taken everything we had if they could. These people are awful, rude, unethical and they're liars. Please go somewhere else, even off the mountain and save your family the heartache and financial burden. read more

I was on my way up to Big Bear for a mother daughter ski weekend with some other moms and kids. We hit a pothole in my new car about 3 miles before running springs. We found RS tires on google and they were so nice and saw us immediately. Unfortunately they could NOT patch my tire and being a low profile one they said it would take a few days to get the tire. We got lucky and my husband was able to pick one up and get it to me the same day. The shop was suppose to close at 3pm and they stayed open to get the new tire on my car. They were so nice to all of us and even got an uber to get some of the moms and kids up the mountain so they were not stuck in Running Springs all day. When I say uber driver I mean there is no uber there but a lady that is name Susan who was fabulous and cam as quick as she could. We got her info from RS tires. Screw in a front tire and dropping air pressure with a loaded SUV returning, exhausted, from a week in Big Bear, and a 3-hour drive ahead of you? That's what happened to us today! We Googled "auto repairs" in the area, and found one in Running Springs. As we went down Hunsaker Dr., we passed this RS Tires and and it looked totally legitimate. But we'd already called the other guy so we went there first. They don't plug tires - just patch - and that takes 40-60 minutes and costs a bundle. So we said "no thanks" and went back to RS Tires. What a difference! They were friendly, fast, got the screw out and plugged the tire for $20 in about 5 minutes! We were out the door and back home without a worry. These guys were great. I hope it doesn't happen to you, but if it does, RS Tires in Running Springs is the place to go! read more

Worst service I've ever experienced from an auto shop. The mechanic blew up our motor and would not fix it after many problems. Even went as far to get the BAR involved in which they concluded this business is responsible and should fix our car but they came to the conclusion it was not there fault. So my family of 6 is out of a vehicle due to negligence from this shop. They will hear from us in court. read more

This shop is by far the best not only did the owner give us a good fair price for the work the mechanic performed but also the service was just great. The owner is very kind and honest. Stay away and don't trust them. I wouldn't let "Adam" work on my skateboard or my roller-skates. I bought two tires supposedly for a good price and an oil change. I checked the level after a week and the oil was black. I didn't think he changed it so I went for another oil change at Jiffy Lube. A month later, the oil is still clean. Frustrated, I then checked the going price for the tires and I paid to much. For $200 more I could have gotten a full set else where. And that's only searching the web for 2 minutes. But it gets worse folks. "Adam" didn't tighten the caps, which WERE polished chrome but are now standard black plastic. Worse yet, now the tire pressure light on the dash goes off all the time. I add air and it goes off and comes back on. Do I have a leek now or are the sensors bad? The fantasy oil change was 100% synthetic(or was it?) so it only cost me $65. You get the picture? read more

I had to give one star or I couldn't post my review. I give no stars. We took our car to the shop for what was quoted as a 5 hour job (that's how long they mechanic said it should take) the crankshaft position censor needed to be replaced. I called a week later and was getting the run around. THr medhanic wasn't there, they don't know the status of my car they need to ask mechanic etc. After almost a month I was told that the mechanic blew up my motor by messing up the timing belt and that they have another motor on the way. They said it was cheaper to get a used motor than to repair all the damage to my engine. A couple more weeks later after calling and even going down there, I finally get an answer and said they're working on the motor. Another week passes and they tell me the car is ready for pickup. They said if there's any problems to bring it right back so they can fix it. A mile off the lot the check engine light goes on as well as a clicking sound. We go straight back and the mechanic uses his code reader and codes popped up that weren't a part of the original issue. I was then told by the front desk they need to charge me to diagnose any issues moving forward. I was upset, they messed up my car, they should fix it. So we took to get a second opinion by a more knowledgeable mechanic who found the issues immediately and also found chunks of metal in the motor they just put in. They told me I need to take it back to shop that replaced the motor and have them fix it immediately. I then talked to the owner Neo, and went over all the findings and he said he didn't mess up the car and they won't replace or warranty anything. We then filed a claim with the Bureau of automotive repair. After the B.A.R. Investigator talked to me, the mechanic, shop owner and the other shop. The shop owner agreed to fix it at their cost in a timely manner. So we take our car back there. A week later we call to get an update on the car only to be told the mechanic was instructed not to talk to me. Again the run around for another 2 weeks before receiving a letter that they will not be fixing my car that they don't believe they're responsible. The B.A.R. Investigators couldn't believe they went back on the agreement. Here I am 10 months later still with no car and had no car for most of my pregnancy. Our sister let us borrow her truck since I was pregnant, really sick and needing to go to doctors appointments. So now we've just had our baby and are about to move forward with a small claims case. All we wanted was for them to repair what they damaged. That's not asking much. A 5 hour job turned into my car a total loss unless I want to purchase a new engine myself which clearly isn't right. My review, I will not support their business or any other business he owns AND they may be good at changing tires, but I wouldn't let Zach work on your engine. Go anywhere else! read more

Jovi and Adam are life savers!!!! I have never had such great customer service!!! We came up to big bear for my birthday and on the way up I got a flat!!! We called around and got referred to RS TIRES. When we called the wonderful angel Jovi answered and said they just closed but she would call the mechanic that just left and see if he could come help. Very shortly after he came! Adam was really cool and down to earth. He talked to us the whole time and actually taught us a little along the way. Adam put my spare tire on for me and had us follow him back to the shop so he could patch up my tire. It was about 31 Degrees outside and man was it cold! But Adam was totally cool and let me talk to him the whole time he was fixing my tire and even explained to me what he was doing the entire time!! Totally laid back guy for sure. We talked about so much! He fixed my tire really fast and then we were on our way to big bear! Adam and Jovi are wonderful people. I'd highly recommend them to everyone!
