Super quick and good kimbap in the downtown core! The store is small and with limited bar seats by the window. I got the classic and sausage kimbap and they were already made. A lady was making big batches behind the cashier, so I guess they do get a lot of business during the day especially since there are several hospitals nearby. They gave a mustard to go with the sausage, so kinda like a "hot dog". Both ended up to be about $20 after tax, which was decent because I saved half for dinner lol Service was great and they stapled the bag for me, which made it easier to carry.

Love this place!! Small restaurant but they do have a few bar seats available. During lunch hours most of the varieties are made already so you can easily grab and go. I think if you order the Dongrami kimbap or any of the tempura shrimp ones they may make it fresh. They use a machine that rolls up the kimbap and quality has been consistent. The rolls are very filling and they have quite a variety of fillings to choose from: vegetarian, spam, donkatsu, butter chicken, spicy pork, etc. They also offer some rice cakes and oden soup options. I usually go for the tuna one and it is difficult to fit entire piece in the mouth because it simply has that much filling!! The flavours are great. I will definitely be coming back! Great portions and prices.

This is a new Korean restaurant, focusing on Kimbap. It is a very small restaurant, with a little counter for seating. They make food packages ahead of time, so if you drop by, the food may be available immediately. They are currently in soft opening, so they only got their credit card system working on 2023-12-28. They opened about a week ago. We ordered the Donkatsu Kimbap ($10.99). It contains diced pork cutlets, carrots, egg, cabbage salad, and pickled radish. It comes with a little container of Donkatsu Sauce. It was good with lots of ingredients. During the soft opening, they also gave us a free Odeng Soup ($4.99) for free. It contains fish cake, radish, green onion, and fish extract base. It was delicious. We must go back to try some of their other menu items. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2023-408

Great variety on the kimbap options. Tasted pretty fresh and ingredients were pretty good quality. Good portion size at reasonably good prices. Quick and friendly service. Mainly a takeout spot but has 4 counter seats if you want to dine in.

Neat little spot for gimbab! First time trying it and I enjoyed it. I got myself a take away of the yubu gimbab. Their portion is decent for the price. I would come back to try other flavors when I am in the area. The service was efficient but friendly as well. They have limited sitting space, but I think the general crowd is for take away.

I had a very specific craving for kimbap and Dongrami definitely delivered! I ordered the spam and bulgogi, and would recommend getting the spam one. I was hesitant whether I should order the spam bc I was unsure if it was going to be cooked or not, but the spam's definitely cooked (cooked spam is superior to uncooked imo). The spam was salty and went well with the fresh veggies. I'll definitely be coming back to have another spam kimbap and try the odeng soup! I should also mention that service was very fast and friendly. Worker offered to box and bag my leftovers for me, which I definitely appreciated!

You walk up a goldcolored hallway and 2 flights of stairs before reaching the restaurant. The host stand is farther inside.....which will make sense once you are physically in the space. The workers were very friendly and funny. I had a great time bantering with them. My friend from 8th grade and I reunited for the first time in 21 years over dinner. This was one of her picks, and I am deeply grateful she chose it. Appetizers: Rock Shrimp, Fatty Tuna Nigiri, Crispy Rice Tuna Entrée: Jidori Chicken Drinks: Sangria, Champagne Dessert: Yuzu Citrus The rock shrimp was delicious. We loved the sauce it was tossed in. My friend is not usually a shrimp fan but she polished it off for me. The fatty tuna nigiri was great, as expected, and the crispy rice tuna was phenomenal. The Jidori chicken was delightful. We loved the sauce, and the mashed potatoes were pillowy. I did not have the sangria but my friend said it was the best she had ever had. The yuzu citrus dessert came with strawberry gelato and cookie crumbs. The gelato was not overly sweet and the yuzu was perfectly tart. They also put a little "Reunited" note on the dessert plate, which we both thought was such a sweet touch. Definitely pricey, but definitely worth it. Recommended it to my Toronto friends, I really want to go back and get that king crab rice.

It's a gorgeous setting and has a complete vibe of luxury. I thought the tacos were yummy, but the meat didn't feel special like you expect when you hear waygu. It also wasn't as earthy as I've experienced with waygu, but I didn't really mind that. I also got the Brother From Another Mother roll and really enjoyed that. All The dishes are very aesthetic and enjoyable. I was surprised at the end with a little birthday treat. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and I'd definitely go back.

The staff helped us through the menu and gave us recommendations, and was so kind and fun to chat with! I had gotten the chicken katsu and my friend the beef tartar bibimbap. Both came with amazing portions and we had food to spare. The katsu was perfectly crispy, and the house made sauce was perfectly seasoned and amazing! It also came with apples and salad on the side which was a perfect pallet cleanser. The bibimbap had a great variety of toppings and everything was seasoned well. When thoroughly mixed, everything bite had a bit of everything and it was delicious. On top of the food u get when you order, the meal also comes with 6 different sides. There was 3 different kimchi, braised potatoes and 2 others that I'm not sure what they are, but they were delicious. My favourite was the potatoes and kimchi! Overall this is an amazing place to bring those close to you for delicious korean food!

Hence we entered Jin Dai Lae. Good decision (yes, I am patting my back). Entree pricing was $3 to $4 lower than Markham/Richmond Hill. Portion was so big that you would be full, and might have to doggy bag. Most importantly, food tasted good. Short ribs stew had many pieces of beef. Squids hot plate was saucy. It wasn't too spicy, so it was good for me (menu didn't have a chilli sign either). For people who like it hot, you can ask for some chilli sauce.
