I can't decide what the issue is maybe no salt in the dough? Maybe under cooked? Maybe a lack of sauce or flavorless sauce? It had zero flavor. The crust, the tiny bit of sauce, the cheese and even the pepperoni was just bland. Just placed an order from Donato's for their 18.99 large pizza and bread sticks deal. When I finally got the receipt by e-mail I noticed at is was just the bread sticks and no pizza. Calling the store and talking to the manager she told me that she could make the pizza but would not honor the deal price. So I got 6 bread sticks with an extra sauce, delivery charge and tip for $18.77. This is not good customer service. Ended up ordering from Marco's instead. read more

Have spent a lot of money here over the years but never again. Be VERY CAREfUL if you order from Donato's in Lebanon. Check your receipts. This was our order placed online. Do the math. The order is overcharging us 34.97 in the total. My kids picked up the food I ordered and they paid via credit card. When they returned with the food there was extra food we did not order. After calling 25 times over the next hour and a half and finally getting a young girl on the phone, she said it's a glitch and on their end a larger order come through and and that it happens all the time. She said the manager George would call me tomorrow. Tomorrow came and George did not call. We called again and they said he would call back that day. He did not. He called this morning and said they would not be refunding our money which is CRAZY. Look at our order. We did not order the food. Usually would never post something like this online but George was so incredibly rude I am shocked. Not manager behavior in any way. P.S. the last time we picked up pizza at this location, they actually handed us an empty pizza box. No joke. No bad review. No hard time. We just said hey, this is an empty box and the. Placed an online order. A Pepperoni Pizza and a salad. Received a confirmation email letting me know our pizza would be here at 5:08. At 5:38, I called the store to see where we were in line. The fella who answered the phone may have been an employee, not sure. He did start by asking if this was for pickup or delivery, so I'm thinking he may have been. After the intro, I explained the situation. I got a long "Uuhhh." as a reply. I left the uncomfortable silence because "Uuhhh" doesn't really count as an explanation. He finally realized I wasn't blinking and said, "Uuhhh, I'll go check." Feeling we were making progress, I waited - because every time I deal with this store, it's what I do... Wait. Tried to reheat them in the oven the next day. 400 degrees for 10 minutes, thinking that would likely cook the crust, but instead it just made it more doughy. This place used to be pretty good. Probably my fav pizza! Their chicken tomato spinach pizza is the bomb, and their subs are yum! They're a bit pricier than other pizza places around but totally worth it! I had avoid experience here. After not being in Ohio and having Donatos for about 11 years, my return experience went well. Becky at the cash register was very kind and helpful. The veggie pizza has always been my favorite, we also ordered pepperoni. Loving that the toppings still reach out to the edges and the veggies are crisp and fresh. Upon arriving at the designated time one person was ahead of me in line and said they had already placed their order. I stood at the counter for almost ten minutes before being waited on. During this entire period my order lay on the counter and when opened was cold. Less than half of both pizzas were eaten and the remainder thrown in the trash. This is the absolute worst restaurant in Lebanon. I'm absolutely shocked they are still in business. The last 6 orders we have placed have been COMPLETELY wrong. Wrong sandwiches, asked for no mushrooms but got them anyway, asked for extra meat and got half (after paying for double). Why do we keep ordering, you ask? Because we have had Donato's in different locations and it's never ever ever been this bad, and we keep wanting to give them a chance. But my goodness, how many times can the cooks fail?!
