While pretty much the same food as the Mellow Mushroom that I grew up with in the 1990's in Atlanta, the menu is occasionally evolving. They've added hamburgers, but I can't bring myself to try them as I like the pizza so much. I wish they'd bring back the pretzels (both parm and the older honey cinnamon). I also miss their hummus.

The gentleman who brought us our caprese salad, didn't directly say anything to us, but instead spoke only to the bartender (as he placed the salad in front of us) and told him not to place any more orders for caprese. He seemed inconvenienced by our order and more interested in his smoke break. We were surprised at the presentation and at the lack of flavor but assumed that the pizza would be amazing! based on what we had read and heard - but were incredibly disappointed. The pizza was flavorless and Incredibly greasy. Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating. We were very let down in our experience and the lack of professionalism from the employee who seemed to think that since he was in the speakeasy, he didn't need to be professional.

When I get back in town, I actually head to Snappy *before* I go to my parents' house. Sadly, the people at my local Snappy even recognize me as "that girl from Columbus." I'm not sure why, but you can't get steak hoagies in Columbus. So of course, I crave them desperately! Snappy definitely has my favorite steak hoagie. The buttery garlic bun is soft, but not soggy. There's always plenty of sauce, and the actual meat is still juicy. I think the garlic bread is good too, even if it's really just a hoagie bun with butter and cheese slathered on. I do think the pizza here isn't as good as La Rosa's, but the garlic butter you can get helps tremendously. Yummm! I wish I had a hoagie right now!
